"I can take you to somewhere in Sharuta afterwards.
Shiruta.
"I.. though you said didn't want to-."

"I didn't say were were. But this is."
We?
"But you're not as assassin any longer.
An.
His hands an eyebrows flick up for a moment in appeal at the gross slur on his personal habits.
And.
"It's… Basically well though out.

Getting them from Eris, then yeah, they're apples of discord.

The golden apple tree of immortality is Hera's.

And Aphrodite apparently has golden apples of "Oh shiny!"

I'm aware of the apples, golden apples pop up in Greek mythology a few times. I'm just not sure if they're all the same kind.

One version of the tale actually suggests that it may have been the same apple of immortality from Hera's Garden of the Hesperides, that Eris had actually taken the fruit from the garden before tossing it into the banquet and sparked the whole thing.

Eris 16 seems to either have her own separate grove or Hera let her have one in her garden.

Considering Batman has met the Darkness, Spider-Man, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Xenomorphs, the gals of Danger Girl, and the only reason the Batmobile was never a Transformer is because DC decided to blow up their continuity instead, it's not that surprising.

After reading about the Batman/TMNT crossover, I wondered what animals the team would mutate into if Paul got his hands on the mutagen.

And I wonder if Zoat is enough of a transformers fan that Paul would be envious of the Green Lantern Corps getting Optimus Prime.

Surprised that no-one commented on dropping Apollo in the pig pen.

Though I guess Adom would have been told by his own patrons already.

Since it's being used to create an anti-Order gun, it seems a safe assumption that it was an Apple of Discord, and not Immortality. They don't want to make Nabu tougher by shooting him after all.

A Sniper Rifle of Immortality is an amusing image though.

"My job is to shoot the wounded."

"...doesn't that make you the bad guy?"

"Not really. It does feel weird when somebody thanks me for shooting kids fleeing a flaming orphanage, though."

Hahahaha, yes. It's finally happening. I've been looking forward to this for so damn long.
Afraid not. OL's Oath ends some time in July, he's not planning to attack Nabu until he's free (and as such can't be ordered to stop), and this last update is happening at the end of April. We've still got a bit over two months IC before the confrontation happens. So, maybe 4 or 5 more arcs? Guessing that for this arc, at least for part of it, we're going to have a round of 'here are some of the preparations we're making for Nabu', maybe with a side-order of starting to tell Batman about the plans, before Batman says something to make it clear he'd disapprove and causing that schism between OL and Batman we were told would happen at some point. OL probably can't just tell Batman outright, because that will end with Batman ordering him to stop preparing and maybe even get rid of his current preparations.

it worked in Overwatch, so why not?

healing gun
where people thank you for shooting at them
now we just need healing grenade

@Mr Zoat was that one of those immortality granting golden apples, or just a generic golden apple?
Eris didn't say.
Wait, I thought we still had a few months to go.
The target date is the 7th of July. But they need to do specific training and preparation before then.
And I wonder who OL needs to talk to.
Tuned in tomorrow for another exciting segment of With This Ring!
Shiruta.

An.

Typos: "an" "it"; and the sentence cuts off suddenly.
Thank you, corrected.

You know, that reminds me, I'm surprised that Paul hasn't tried to undermine Fate's position in the league by finding other magical types to join the league.

It't not DC Earth is short on magic types.

And depending on how it goes, perhaps new support for operation "take a can opener to that helmet."
