Shepard Quest Mk VII, Age of Revy (ME/MCU)

They know about the cuttlefish and they have no idea there capabilities or design. Revy wouldn,t make the connection between them even if she saw them and they think the Reapers were mutually destroyed. The cryptology is important considering if you know things you can avoid traps, locate bases, capture spies etc. Its good works on all scales like knowing where they will strike and what they are bringing. Governments spend a lot of money IRL decrypting. Besides that action can't be harder then unobtanium and that's 3200.

just gonna say it here in case people forget, this is not a 'game' where actions do not have consequences, as shown in the previous quest threads where our actions did result in previous unexisting enemies and situations. While you could do something, think carefully if you should.

The turrets are too many, way too many. Go down 80% on all turrets and you will have better and more realistic construction contracts.

The thing is, the turrets just make up 5% of the constructions costs. They're actually incredible cheap, so to make them in numbers that actually matter to us, I've got to have that insane number.

yea we dont actualy have all the money to spend in your plan. we needed to make 28 Lite Laser Pyndas for system alliance so thats alot money this turn on that plus our outstanding contracts that we need to make as well, so yea we get our money and then some next turn from them i think QM can correct me

[X] Divert our VI development company to hack what remains of the Sol invasion fleet's computers, and whatever other resources it takes (even RP from next quarter if necessary) to find out how the hell the Batarians managed to bypass Arcturus and invade Sol. This is a huge priority!
The Hegemony Fleet at Sol barely engaged the SA fleet before pulling out. None of the few ships that died there had salvageable computers. Many of the ships destroyed at Arcturus died to direct spinal shots from the three SA dreadnoughts there fresh from being refitted with new equipment. The SA commanders focused on making sure their targets were very dead, not wanting to risk the seat of the SA's government. However, one frigate that was mission killed by GARDIAN laser fire from a frigate wolf-pack has intact systems.

After attempting to access it on their own the SA intelligence service accepts your aid. The information has incredibly strong encryption which denies all of the common shortcuts to decrypt. It may devolve to pure brute force at this rate. Or maybe later spy work my reveal the key.

Research Project:
Hegemony Cryptography 200 (PI) + 50 (SA Intellegence) = 250/?
Just saying another reason why cryptology is going to be important. We still don't know how the four eyes bypassed the relay and they can do it again. Plus the military took a crack at it and left it in Revu's hands.

It is not the cost that I say is too much. There are literally too many turrets. You want to build 86 thousand turrets. Building them all at once is too much, let's say we can build them over a period of two years, i.e. 8 turns, that would be possible and would not be so 'loud' that the citadel could hear it.

And we have promised the Alliance that we will tell them when we make big, far-reaching changes. I assume that the Alliance has nothing against it, that the defense will be reinforced but they have to know about it. So we build enough plaanetare defense to rebel against the alliance and that wouldn't turn out well. Oh the people who know us know that we wouldn't do that, but the politicians, don't take any chances.

Overall, I'm for all the turrets but not all at once.

all production needed for existing contracts and 28 ships have already been accounted for. The money will be in your account for this turns use. So construction plan is viable.
Starting budget + production sales profit = money for use this turn - action spending = starting budget for next turn is how I am doing things

So the next time she uses it, it will be the latest most up to date suit. Think of it as her realizing from the last assault she needs to be protected and ready.

Having only read through after it was over, I never participated and don't really understand the mechanics, but does anyone have a research plan to tack on to the rest? I wouldn't want to lose an entire quarter of potential research just because we never got around to it.

Also, might 30,000,000,000 credits be overboard for one quarter of investment into lobbying? That's a truly obscene amount of money, and sure, it'd be good to have the option to quickly upgun all our ships on quick notice... but, you know, doesn't that have to be a secret? That plan relies on no one figuring out Revy is stone cold trying to fuck them all, (and the Illusive Man would definitely approve and possibly reconsider how sympathetic she might be if he realizes), and if we go too hard on it people could get suspicious of why this particular plan is so important to Revy.

Not that I don't want to do it, because I absolutely do want a side story of Jack and maybe Miranda realizing what Revy is trying to pull.

That's a good point, I'll cut down the turret numbers by a factor of 4.
