Point. Still I think this is a good opportunity to get that triple alliance and not just have the Urthdysh join later.
Anyways, I'm changing the plan then.
[X] [MAIN] War Mission = (Slaver Forluc)
[X] [SEC] Diplomatic Expedition (Forluc)
[X] [SEC] Diplomatic Expedition (Urthdysh)
[X] [Sec] Study Magic
[X] [SEC] Switch Province Policy = (Economy)
I think comboing a Diplomatic Expedition to the Urthdysh to a Study Magic action works for a variety of reasons.
First, a Diplo action to the Urthdysh and the Furloc at the same time allows us to get that triple alliance up and running.
Second, and this was the idea I had for next turn, but given that the Urthdysh specialize in magic and the undead, and even have a Mystic hero!, it'd be child's play for them to slap on some stone on the skeletons or learn the divine version of undead thralldom with Golem crafting.
And if we
do develop Golems and form a alliance that gets the Urthdysh and Furloc (plus if we get Nalniryn and Zaranna on our side) that'll
really take the wind out of the southerner's sails.
If they still want to fight even after that it'd just be do to sheer stubbornness and the fact that they're already lawbreakers.
