[X] Captain: Taylor
[X] Second: Luffy
[X] Third: Nami
[X] Ask about Laboon's story
[X] Ask about Crocus' story
[X] Ask about the Grand Line
No, this make a great morale officer. The only thing Luffy so far has for him as a great captain is his huge luck and the ability to always smile. Luffy is just not ready to be captain yet. Hell so far he has only been captain in name only.
Now this makes a great Captain. She also knows how to use her crew/fiends to the best of their abilities.
This could be a number two or number 3 depending on where Taylor stands
Now this is blatantly not true if this was not stated I would most likely let this post slide and moved on. Most likely the only reason they made it as far as the ship has is because of Nami's hording. Food is not free, water is not free, crews are not free (though is show theirs was. But it was small), wood is not free, coal or tender is not free, soap is not free, salt may or may not be free. Just because the supplies were bought off-screen does not been they were not obtained just like it is not shown unless for gags when they go to bathroom but it happens. Now I ask you who bought the supplies, well that would have to be Nami because she was in control of the ship's gold.
Yes this is very true but we love her anyways
Another thing you posted that is very true. If in game, and we used her she would be treated as a green unit we don't control in combat it does it own thing. Though we can ask things of her.
Sadly I don't think even Taylor would be a great captain at this point also. She does not drive enough yet to want to be one.
In canon Luffy should have died at least 5 times by the time his brother died not including movies. Only reason he did not is his bullshit luck/plot armor. When his luck ran out he would obtain plot armor++.
Which means we are not playing easy mode anymore we are playing hard mode while not you will die edition it is hard mode. If they try to pull the old win vs SP9 in this story they all will end up truly dead or if lucky prison.
god he is such a great morale officer. Kind of like the flash in justice league don't know what you had till you lose him. Also remember this is no longer canon he is not the center of the crew now. Though love Taylor may have stolen Zoro, Though smarts and friendship we have Nami and Kaya. Though Kaya we have Sogeking. I know we are missing a guy but I feel he would be the only one at this point to side with Luffy
The first time she did that she lost all her friends she had to take back control to get them back. She had to take all the control to save the world. Fuck the last time she gave up control she got shot in the head and then "That bitch Contessa left her" on a island.
This is with no plan and no real captain was running the show.
Ummm no a good leader always ask/delegates to the people of the best know how in a given situation.
This should be more written Tashigi actually would make a solid third if she was a crew member. I think also she would make a great third but sadly she belongs more to Garp then the crew. Tashigi is a Navy officer that means training to be an officer, so she would be a great #2 or #3
As stated above this is how she has kept the crew a live this long.

.
Lastly For the people that are posting Cap: Luffy 2nd: Zoro i don't see Taylor staying with the ship after Luffy nearly gets them all killed the 2nd time if not the 1st time as long as he is captain.
Also did everybody forget about Chapter 71
"Tashigi shifted nervously on the spot until she looked over to Garp. The Marine gave her a nod." see not crew yet
Taylor's booted foot clunking onto the last free spot on the barrel. "I'm going to help my... friends. And I'm going to become strong enough that I never have 'no other choice' again."
If you serve under somebody, and they tell you to do something that can put you into a position where to keep your vow you have to either leave or break the one making you break your vow.
Luffie's dream was never to be Captain it has always been to be King of the Pirates. Wonder when Taylor is going to train/explain to him about rape, pillage, and slaving. He is to be the king of the pirates means he is to be the worst/best of them all so understanding these things. This could also be used, so she can get him to be the white knight King of the Pirates route in front of Garp to try to swing him into betraying the Navy and joining his Son and grandson in overthrowing the world government.
Raven has said multiple times this is a fun quest. Not a hard mode quest. So that point is bunk.
Of course Luffy isn't ready to be the Captain on a maturity level. He'll grow into the role. And Taylor and Zoro will be there to back him up, and encourage that with our choices.
Don't underestimate him as someone the crew can rely on when it really matters.
Oh, there's no reason Nami can't keep managing the money. She's good at it. But that doesn't mean she needs a command position to do that. And there is no denying the simple truth that Nami is money obsessed. It sure as hell doesn't make me want her to have a position of leadership.
As for Taylor and control. Needing absolute control is not healthy. All the more reason for her to be second in command to Luffy, who can delegate things to her, and she can delegate in turn. She still has control, but not absolute. Baby steps.
