I feel like these two options should be swapped. This is one piece after all, one of the main characters actualy does fly(ok it's a glide) like this. While garp punches cannonballs through ships.

Shower thought. I think the ship's nickname should probably be changed away from The Bast. It's The Bast's Pride, so it's actually the Pride rather than the Bast itself. Calling it the Bast is like calling Zoro's shoes 'Zoro' instead of 'shoes'. Calling 'the sword's sheath' the sword instead of the sheath.
So the Bast's Pride is not the Bast, but the Pride.

But there's probably a lot of the something's pride around, and less bast-related ships, its easier to identify
Besides that, yeah, you are totally right, and unless we are teaming up with someone whose ships has that similarity you point stands, now that i think about it...

So awhile back someone brought up how Taylor would be viewed if she appeared in the manga/show and I really liked that idea and want to bring it back.
I think people might think Taylor was a spy or a mole, her powers make her a really great spy and she reached out to the marines to let them know the crew's location. What do you guys think?

Pretty much this, I compare what I have seen in Canon in both Verses and operate on what I see.

I always did think the characters for One Piece looked lanky. Enough so that I think Taylor would fit in to be honest. Also, her powers are a god send on a ship. Pest control~

what are the chances of us convincing luffy to pick up a doctor before we enter the grand-line, as that seems like something taylor will want to get on before they get any serious injuries or sicknesses from being out at sea.

I can see this being a major point for her. Especially for a post-GM Taylor.
Also, does anyone else think Vegapunk would want to do SCIENCE on her after finding out she can still swim despite having powers?

But yeah, Taylor is the #1 desired lab rat. She makes no goddamned sense to them and that means SCIENCE!

Possible, but I was reading Tell it to the Marines, and that has the characters slather on bug repellant beforehand, with the SI character never leaving the ship, and she then gets sick because of an airborne virus which "you could have avoided by just being in the general vicinity of another creature living on the island that carries a similar strain of virus that inhibits the one you were so effected by." as Dr. Kureha states. Then there's any potential food or water they take from the island, which could have potential contaminants as well. Being able to stop bug-borne diseases is amazing, but there are other vectors for illness that could get them.

Kaya is a medical student, so in a pinch we have a doctor. Granted, she's nowhere near the skill of Chopper, nor the combat prowess, so it'll be interesting to see what happens if we end up skipping Chopper altogether.
I am wondering what are the chances that anyone actually gets a bounty in the east blue, with Garp knowing what is mostly going on will it end up with the crew seaming to jest be a group of bounty hunters with a crazy captain who claims he is going to be king of the pirates, and no one really taking it seriously. since Garp should be able to prevent his grandson from getting a bounty this early at least.

We didn't argue with the author though, when told to stop by the author we stopped, and that mean we are okay, discussion is a part of a quest, it's not listening when the author tell you to stop that's the problem, or that's why I think Zaralann got banned at least, I might be wrong, I can't read the mind of the mods.

Also, bug control in a world with some REALLY weird bugs/critters, not to mention a severe lack of pest control. If she starts experimenting some more she'll definitely move up in threat ranking.
