Not when several posts later said mistakes were pointed out by someone else, not to mention that Prisma's translation has been noted to be riddled with errors when it wasn't Paitouch's translation. It's just that nobody really noticed because we were all baka gaijin who never got to see the original moonrunes.
Edit: There's also the issue that a fair amount of said errors are less direct translation problems and more missing the tone and context that was intended in various scenes and lines.

Same here. I find it's no more worse than here really, so if they're toxic then so are we.
My guess is that, as a forum focused on a single franchise rather than a more general forum, it comes off as more elitist/toxic because of that aforementioned focus. Basically, just imagine you took this thread and magnified it into a whole forum, throw in some members capable of reading and translating japanese, and you've basically got Beast's Lair.
