Nope. I'm too lazy to go copy someone's vote, find my vote or just make new post, and paste your vote then edit/send. Which I can easily do in a minute.
I will do most of the leg work for you.
[] "Now that you are awake, maybe you can answer me why you and your friends decided to illegally trespass on government property."

Now you don't need to do any looking.

Dangit, now I can't be lazy. Curse you Trondason.

@I just write The recharge rate on the Sniper Laser is really long. Supposing it's Elerium core is only the size of a baseball, it would still generate 2.19 Megawatts of power, meaning it could shoot every 3.65 seconds, not every 40 seconds. And the Heavy Laser really shouldn't need a additional Back-pack reactor for a "mere" 2.2 Megawatts of power. Supposing the back-pack is 34 liters (did a random search for big back-packs, and found one that size) it should put out 340 megawatts of power.

Thermodynamics (read: needing to dump waste heat) to the rescue!

Hmm, fine. Just means we have 2 reasons to get Ice-man's tech made, this and the heat-sink of the ghost suits.
Really, since the smallest a Elerium reactor can be is a ping-pong ball, the weakest it can be at full power is 335.1 kilowatts.

Edit: Oh, hey, if we can make Freeze Man (megaman 7) he's pretty much the best we can hope for as a heat-sink. Freeze Man can split the normal temperature in the ambient into high and low temperatures, using the Heat as energy source. Meaning we can turn the heat in the heat-sink right back into usable energy.

My personal recommendation: Start talking."

[X] Get him sedated again without mentioning he's awake. Ask if there's a way to trace their location.

Well, if you're going to render all my hard work unnecessary do it for me, I suppose I'll take advantage of it... After I go deal with something REALLY important.

The SPECIFIC gamer quest is currently experiencing technical difficulties. We'll be back after the commercial break.

Technical difficulty resolved. Going with

[X] "Now that you are awake, maybe you can answer me why you and your friends decided to illegally trespass on government property."

I'm really curious what his response is going to be. It's entirely plausible that there WASN'T a reason. They thought it was a dungeon, going into dungeons is what they do, they often don't have a reason beyond that. So I wonder what he will come up with.

@I just write Apparently Galaxy Man's stage had portals in them. Do you have their mechanics already figured out for when we get around to making them? Most important that I can think of right now, is if range matters, and how big a portal we need to teleport stuff through.

Unexpected Guests 4
You walk over to the... Paladin?, and stare down at him for a few seconds. You see him briefly open his eyes a crack, and at that point remark "Well, now that you are awake, maybe you can answer me why you and your friends decided to illegally trespass on government property." While saying this, you gesturing for some Joes to move to restrain him if need be.
Dean, where'd you get those weird Spartan II minis?
He eventually answers "I refuse to answer the questions of obvious evildoers! YOU will be answering MY questions! What is the purpose of this base, and how are you planning to take over the world?" As he finishes the query, he manages to wiggle his arms barely free and mutters something under his breath in a language you can't understand.
Alright, I'm going to cast Zone of Truth.
Suddenly, you feel a tingling in the back of your mind, but it quickly subsides in a short-lived burst of mental clarity even beyond what you already had. Huh, so THAT's how you can fix the scaling issue for the gravity systems on the CMC-400. You look down at him, before saying "You are forgetting something. You are the one currently tied to a table, meaning that you will answer my questions, even if I have to get my subordinate here forcibly pry it from your mind. Now get talking."
What do you mean he ATE my spell!?
He grins weakly at you and says "Never."

Course of Action
[] Get Gio to trace the control signal and go kick down the door
-[] Choose your team!
[] Get Gio to yank some information out of his mind
[] Drug him up on truth serum
[] Write In

-Otto, a Joe (pointman) and 10 ex-mil soldiers experienced with urban operations.

Actually, this may be a bit of a trap. It may cause a scandal if we break, enter & arrest a citizen of a country that matters. Maybe we could have the local/national police contacted & co-operate with them?

I'm thinking we do a trace & truth serum. Then while we keep him talking and distracted, we contact the relevant country and then go door-kicking.

Hora!

EDIT: Also, fuck these guys. They clearly didn't listen to the UN conference, because we clearly answered both of those questions. We're here to advance mankind and become a megacorp. If we wanted to take over the world, we would've let the alien invasion happen for at least a few days. Then we could've swept in, and any rump countries wouldn't be in a position to really refuse us. :V Or hell, we could've tried to upset the status quo to our advantage in other ways. We've done the opposite so far with our prompt reaction to the aliens and selling of technology to ("legitimate", wealthy) countries.

I think Paladin has some class skills that make getting a truth serum to work hard. I mean, it would be roll Will or something.

Like I said, the truth serum and interrogation would mostly be a delaying tactic until we can contact the relevant authorities and kick in their doors.

EDIT: I wonder if there are any parahuman intelligence agencies?

Well, that is certainly interesting. Flooding our head with madness, even in quantities that wouldn't cause a break, give us a small boost to SCIENCE! We really should become a Therapist, and feast on the natural madness of all our people.

Bit upset on how quickly we went to threatening. Oh sure, we COULD pry the answers from his mind, but that is a rather obviously evil approach, and would be rather likely to set him against us.

As for what we do now, I don't wana jump straight to Truth Serum. If answers are really needed, and nothing has developed in a day or two of normal interrogation, then maybe. Otherwise, nah.

[X] Pardon yourself for a moment and draw Gio aside to get the answers to the following conditions. Be sure to be out of the room, don't want the Paladin eaves-dropping
-[X] If the Trace spell doesn't require, or is aided by, having all 3 specimens, have the two currently unconscious intruders placed in the cells.
-[X] If the Trace Spell is liable to be detected from the other side, have some Civilian Mode Joes inconspicuously teleport into the general vicinity (like, within a few blocks) of the target and make their way there, and get satellite coverage of the location going.
-[X] If the Trace Spell isn't liable to be detected, hold off on any immediate action other than satellite coverage
-[X] After done talking with Gio, return to interrogating the Paladin.
--[X] "You seem to be either delusional, or TERRIBLY out of touch with current events. Maybe even not from this dimension, stranger things have happened. I will give you some basic information that you seem to be sorely lacking. One, we are not planning to take over the world, but to save it. Two, this base is meant to serve as the fore-front of the defense against Alien Threats. Three, we are supported and funded by the majority of the nations of the world, I highly doubt anyone would try to defend you if you tried to sabotage our efforts to protect humanity. Now, it seems fairly likely that you didn't intend to do evil, so I highly suggest you cooperate."

Any criticisms?

And since you are usually the main guy who disagrees with me, I will go ahead and put Xs in.

Also, on the note of "these guys clearly didn't watch the UN Conference" gotta remember, the guys controlling the Avatars think they are playing a game of DnD. Even if they ARE from this dimension, and not reaching through due to a Savant in theirs, and as such would have access to all the relevant information, they wouldn't think we are X-Com, especially not the Real-Life X-Com.
