Solids are not compressible (without EXTREME pressure at least, and it would in condense when we revoke the pressure). If we want it to get denser, we have to make a completely new material, manipulating the molecular bond so out holds itself closer together than normal.
Well technically they are, it just takes such stupidly huge amounts of pressure that it's WAY more trouble than it's worth.

@I just write It'd be rather interesting to know what hte wider world thinks about us, and what's going on. Aliens turn out to be a thing and hostile, with tech that laughs off anything the military threw at them, and then we show up and stomp their shit. Then the UN meeting (if that was public) where we announced ourselves to the world. Then all the tech we are releasing, all the factories we are opening up, and all the people we are hiring.
In short, I would like to know general publics opinion of us.

Heck, just the opinions of our own hired staff (the people who didn't have information plugged into their heads that made all this pretty much normal to them) could be neat, they get a first-hand experience with all our crazy tech. Armor that can shrug of tank rounds, guns that can go through any conventional armor, space-ships, cyborg tech, hyperbolic time-chambers, teleportation, a moon base, sentient robots, magic, MAGIC ROBOTS! And we are just adding more as we go.

On a different note, how much power do you say the Masquarade takes, on average? Asking to get a note on how much we would need if we wanted to do a similar thing.

Memory alteration doesn't take much power, around 30 megawatts for the whole world, but putting extra in makes it work better. Please be aware though, that implementing such a 'solution' to avoid attention will likely lead to your subordinates revolting.

The ones who can revolt will be phased out before long. Robots can do work so much better than Humans after all, and their loyalty is guaranteed.
But anyways, we probably won't, especially not for something as simple as remaining incognito, but knowing we can might end up being rather important. Especially if we have to deal with a lot of people, very quickly.

How much do the Psychic Shields cost?

Dirt cheap. Maybe a small amount of Superconductors. You could sell them for quite a lot to those in the know if you wanted though.

Hmm, @I just write You mentioned earlier that the Masquarade had a lot of built up madness, since it has been powered for a LONG time. How is it storing that madness? Cause as far as I knew, madness could only be stored in people's heads, and that isn't exactly a useful storage medium for long-term stuff.

I.... we don't have bassnium yet?
I'm allowed to ask for the future. I asked tons of shit for the future. Actually the reason I'm guessing we need to upgrade Super Conductors to get Bassnium, because earlier on he mentioned that it's ingredients were very similar to Super Conductors.

I'm doing some calculations, to see how much it costs to do some stuff, and while I got a good estimate for Bassnium's material cost, he mentioned that after using the original 20% of it (converts 20% of it's mass into electricity), it can be reprocessed (implied at a cost cheaper than just making new stuff) so you can get another 20% out of it. The cost of the reprocessing would end up effecting how much it costs to squeeze out every last joule from it, so it would be good to know.

Edit: Particularly, I'm doing calculations to see how much it costs, money wise, to dilate how much space for how long.
With Elerium, $1800 per kg with 98% mass-energy exchange, it's $1.29 per cubic meter per year
With Bassnium, assuming $120 per kg (same cost as Super Conductors), and 20% mass-energy exchange (no clue on reprocessing costs yet), it's $0.42 per cubic meter per year

You're forgetting to account for Elerium's limited shelf life again (oh wait, temporal stasis). In other news, I'm thinking that maybe I should write the update now?

The same way that perception filter could keep going for an hour without being constantly charged. Once madness is in an active spell it's there until it gets used with no way to retrieve it, but it extends how long the spell can last and makes it more resistant to disruption.

Yeah, we got various ways to combat our supplies going bad.

Hmm, that sounds like something we could SCIENCE!. For Madness stored in a Spell really doesn't seem like it should be utterly unretrievable, just no-one has done it yet. Ah well, something for the future.

@I just write How much does it cost to reprocess Bassnium?

about 15% as much as just synthesizing more would.

Alright, so the cost to squeeze out every last joule via constant reprocessing would be $72 on top of the original $120, a total of $192 per kg of energy.
Leading to Time Dialation costing $0.14 per cubic meter per year.

Edit: On that note, Bassnium is 12,747,616 times cheaper than electricity where I live.

Sorry for not dissenting more. :p

Complicated quests tend to have 1-2 people make a vote to bandwagon on..

The End Is Nigh
You know, I'm sorry, I just can't bring myself to continue this quest. I like it, but I can't come up with anything to realistically challenge you. At least, not when you're THIS OP in a normal-ish world. I will however start a new quest based on the same magic system.

Choose Character
[] Hotaru Quest (Electro-savant magical girl)
[] Gio Quest (A real old Therapist in the multiverse)
[] Dean Quest (Technomancy for the win!)(You bring a customized laptop with you. If you stay in the same world you get the basement mainframe)
[] (ERROR) Quest (An OC mage that isn't a Savant, you start as a noob, but not a Victim. Technomancers get a stock laptop or smartphone of their choice.)

Choose destination (NOTE: wherever you go, you retain the ability to activate people as Victims)
[] Harry Potter
[] Star Wars
[] Transhuman Space
[] Generic Fantasy Setting (based vaguely off of D&D for the local magic system)
[] Marvel (NOTE: I'm going off cultural osmosis)
[] Same Earth, -1 Savant, and -1 alien invasion
[] Babylon 5 (NOTE: You arrive 1 month previous to the Minbari war)
[] Mass Effect
[] Write In
