The Power(Harry Potter/The Gamer)

@Halpo133 Keep in mind, this is 1991 -- D&D 3.0 is about a decade away.
90% of spells in 3e core spellbook are unchanged from 2e to 3e. Actually this is part of what made direct damage spells bad. monster HP increased with each edition while spell damage remained the same.
2e lets you cast restoration, teleport, timestop, wish, polymorph, and others

Right now, accidental magic requires a time slot to train/use. Simply put, your Gamer's Mind ability prevents it from manifesting, as your emotions aren't wild enough for it anymore. You have to force yourself to feel emotions strongly enough for them to manifest as accidental magic.
I bet it will evolve into "emotion magic" which is fully controllable freeform wandless casting based on emotions

Well, there's also the issue of us actually bringing the people we want to sneak around with into the ID, which is probably not possible if we don't have them in our party. As such, that excuse isn't useful for them.

Invisibility cloaks, memory charms, confundus charm, disillusionment charms, invisibility charms,

HP magic does not lack in stealth options.

The ID time was you specifically doing nothing for a set period of time but creating and breaking dungeons. You didn't clean, you didn't cook, you didn't even eat. You just sat there 'ID create, ID break, ID create, ID break'.

You could passively work on observe, or occulmency or the like, but the rate of gain would be MUCH slower, or it would be very obvious that you're doing something else. You'd be zoning out, staring at something that isn't there, whatever.
Right, that was a deliberate attempt we voted for. What I meant by passive is, what happens when there is a block of time, lets say when we are sitting on a bus, when we got nothing to do. during that I figured we would have a preset "do this when you got spare time" skill to grind, like using ID/break, or observe, or tossing a coin for luck, or what not.

Aside from point distribution, luck related activities like gambling (playing cards, slots, whatever) should presumably help grind it.
we need to go to las vegas.... we will actually win.

Another stunner dodged, and Voldemort was beginning to sweat. This opponent was beyond what he expected. He was expecting a battle! A glorious confrontation between foes! Something like he had with Dumbledore! Say what you like about the man, at least he had style. Well, not with robes, but still. But this... This wasn't a fight! It's a game of cat and mouse! With him as the mouse! His opponent didn't even care enough about fighting him to throw out a single bone-breaker, while he's slinging about crucios and AKs!

"Potter! Enough! If you're going to kill me, stop toying with me and kill me!"

"Toying with you?! I'm fighting for my life here!"

"... Oh. You mean this is you... Oh... Ah... Awkward."

And with that, Voldemort's confidence in his own magical power was shattered forever.
Whats happening here?

No, they can't. Unless maybe they have an ability from Gaia like we do, and most crossovers don't include that.

That said, Ninjitsu is still useful.
1. There will be times we have to actually sneak into a place to get something or sneak up on someone. ID will make us exit at the same place we enter, so it's not useful for that. Ninjitsu on the other hand...
2. While many objects are cloned exactly in ID, some may not. Magic objects, for instance, may not function the same. Possibly books and letters may not have their actual content as well.
3. We may have to sneak around with people who aren't in on our Gamer abilities, so there's that as well.

Regarding the cloak, remember that there were times Harry was almost caught with it. Actual stealth skills, even if only at a low level, would benefit. And hey, there's nothing to say we have to grind it. We can just let it level naturally when we have cause to use it. Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it, especially with this kind of skill.

You need X's in all the boxes.

We have no swords with which to grind this skill, ya know. :p
1 has already been answered, 2 can be solved by simply dismissing the barrier long enough to grab what we want then reapplying it (disguised as batman, if we feel the need to conceal our identity on top of that), and for 3 unless our companions also have good stealth skills (not exactly likely) then our own will be of limited use regardless of how good we are. As for the cloak, I did specifically note that it's not perfect- but unless we're going for a stealth-focused build then most of the time it should be enough. As for having the skill and not grinding it... well, in that case there's significantly less point in having it (as we'll have less cause to use it or trust it if it's at a lower level and levelling it up through use alone will probably be slow), and it's taking up money we could use to buy something we will actually use.

Well, you're kind of late on the response - some of this was pointed out and rebutted.

1. Using ID to sneak around has the potential problem of exiting when someone's at the exit point. Kind of defeats the point. Sure, we could use the cloak, but then if someone happens to be right there in our face? Yeah, that's not really a desirable situation.
2. ID very likely can't be used in existing dungeons (they're a thing) which I suspect there will be a number of in Hogwarts and are likely one of the primary areas we'd need to sneak around in.
3. Fred and George sneak about all the time, IIRC. Also, the other characters may need to be able to sneak around.
4. It's 20 British pounds. Unless we're going to buy another round of muggle books next turn (which would be inefficient to do multiple turns in a row) then we've got a good chance of getting more than enough money for what we need. Non-HP monster IDs (Zombies) will apparently drop muggle money. I rather doubt we'll be hard up for cash.
5. Also, even if we can't rely on Ninjitsu alone due to low level, it synergizes with the cloak. Being able to muffle the sound of our steps even a slight amount is preferable to not being able to do so at all. Every little bit helps. Cloak -> bonus to stealth. Ninjitsu -> bonus to stealth. Adding both together means higher overall stealth. And we will use it if we're going to use the cloak.

I broke so many things must fix!
Edit: Screw it. Doesn't matter. Winners are! Tell Hermione, subtle change. Tell Amelia Everything. D&D, Karate, Ninjutsu. Spend points on luck, dismissed as it doesn't specify how many(even just saying ALL would be acceptable). So it goes to 5 on luck, 5 on int, 5 on wis since that was only 1 vote behind anyway. And use observe as much as possible.

Final Edit: Having a smoke then writing the update.
Roll for event was 101. That's going to be interesting.

@Halpo133 - How are you going to handle the stat distribution? The way the vote went is kind of strange.

16 voted to spend points on luck only, but 8 of those wanted to spend only 10 points. 14 wanted to spend 5 each on Luk, Wis, and Int, so it's the largest bloc with a solid opinion.

Meeting Amelia Bo-No, Dumbledo-No, the Minster for Magic!
"It would be best, I think, to go slowly in such changes. Yes, it's prejudiced and backwards. It's also deeply rooted in their society, with many influential figures supporting it. We absolutely should try and change things, but starting small. No grand sweeping campaigns for equality right away, but instead with individuals. And then we can step things up a bit. We don't want to be immediately decried as trying to ruin the traditions they have or anything, as that would be counterproductive."

Hermione sighs after you say this and comments, "It's going to be time consuming and hard, isn't it?"

"Many worthwhile things are."

You tell Madam Bones... Everything. You tell her about the chores, about how Hedwig was your first birthday gift and you still haven't gotten a Christmas present that you can recall. You tell her about the cupboard and Dudley's 'Harry Hunting' and being called freak. About how when they went on a trip you got left with someone, usually Mrs. Figg. A name that gets a reaction from her. And you tell her about how, until your birthday, if someone mentioned magic it would have just been something out of a storybook for you. You're not sure if you could have done it without your [Gamer's Mind]. Even with that to help add some detachment it was difficult, almost impossible to get through, but once you start you just can't stop.

And as you speak Madam Bones' face grows more and more stern, something you didn't think was possible, and halfway through she does something with her wand that causes your ears to pop. When you seem to have finished she walks over to her door, opens it, causing your ears to pop again, and says, "Fetch me Scrimgour and Shacklebolt."

Returning to her desk she sits down and asks, "That was quite a bit of talking there. Would you care for something to drink?"

Nodding your head you accept a cup, transfigured from a quill, that she fills with water from a spell.

Not even five minutes have passed, in silence, before knocking is heard at the door. Standing there is a man, who looks vaguely like a lion, with gold, wire-framed glasses, and a tall, broad-shouldered black man.

"Good. I need you two to-" Whatever she was going to finish that sentence with is interrupted by an old man, in... Colorful robes and with a ridiculously long beard stepping in behind the two men. "Dumbledore. Just who I was about to... Request."

Curious, you glance at the words above his head.

[Albus Dumbledore, Headmaster of Hogwarts, lvl ??]

Not very informative. Nothing you didn't already know.

"Amelia, I-Harry? What are you doing here?"

Amelia smiles, the first you've seen and you're glad it's not directed at you. It's rather... Predatory.

"Harry here was just telling me about his home-life. Where he was never given any gifts, slept in a cupboard under the stairs, was only given his cousin's hand-me-downs to wear, and suffered physically at the hands of said cousin. Among other things. And was occasionally watched by one Mrs. Figg. A Mrs. Arabella Figg, perhaps?"

The old man's, Dumbledore's, countenance changes at the mention of your cupboard. It's hard to pin down, but then you realize. His eyes had a bit of spark before, a twinkle to them, that has gone missing. After a few minutes he speaks.

"I do not wish to cast aspirations on his character, but are you certain Harry here wasn't... Exaggerating, at all? Children do tend to do so."

"Quite certain, Dumbledore. As soon as he sat in that chair, I would have known if he lied. The crystal over his right shoulder would have lit up."

"I see," replies Dumbledore, his posture slumping as he looks a bit older suddenly. "But still, he needs-"

(Luck roll, over 100. Minster of Magic arrives)

It seems it is his turn to be cut off, as the fireplace flares to life, the green flames signaling the floo aspect of it, you recall. A disembodied head appears, floating in the flames, and seems to be wearing a bowler-cap. A sight that has both Madam Bones and Dumbledore closing there eyes and letting out a soft sigh.

"Amelia, I-My word, Dumbledore? And is that... Harry Potter? Hold on, I'm coming through."

A few minutes later the man carries through on his promise. He turns out to be a portly little man with rumpled grey hair, though largely covered by a lime green bowler cap. And he immediately moves toward you and starts shaking your hand. If it weren't for your [Gamer's Body] you're sure it'd be numb by the time he finished.

"Harry, can I call you Harry, it is an honor to meet you. An honor. I'm Cornelius Fudge, the Minister for Magic. What brings you to the DMLE? A bit young to be causing this sort of trouble, no? But then, from what I've heard about your father..."

At this point Amelia coughs softly to get attention and informs the man, the Minister apparently, "Mr. Potter was here to tell me about his... Unsatisfactory home conditions. He isn't beaten, by all accounts, but neglect and emotional abuse are certainly there."

This causes the eyes of not just the Minister, but the two younger men, in relation to Dumbledore, in the room to go wide, and Dumbledore to wince, though it's quickly covered up. After a few minutes the Minister turns to Dumbledore and exclaims, "You said he was safe!"

"And he was, there are protections to keep him safe from dark wizards and creatures," replies the old man, calmly.

"But they do nothing against his relatives! He should be placed with another family, one who won't abuse him in any way. I know I would be willing to do it." This comes from Madam Bones, and has Dumbledore going slightly pale.

"No, you can't! The protections... He needs to be safe! Surely his family can be spoken to, reasoned with. You agree with me, don't you Cornelius?"

With that both of them turn their eyes to the Minister for Magic, who seems to wilt at being caught under the gaze of two powerful figures.

"Ah... Well... I think... I think..." The portly man stammers, eyes looking around before they lock onto you and he brightens. "I think Harry should decide! It affects him the most, after all!"

Though they're still discussing if letting an eleven year old decide such a thing is wise, you would like to...

*Sniff* That little pose omake was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. If it means bringing the glory of the perfect pose to the world of Harry Potter, then I would gladly make that sacrifice! After all, we can pose if we want to, we can leave this world behind. Because if this world has no pose then it wouldn't be one I'd want us to live in.

[x] Move in with...
-[x] Madam Bones

This option probably gives the most freedom, since full emancipation would just be asking for Dumbledore to sent his goons after us during the summer.

Hear me out,You maybe understimate him but Hagrid actually hepful for us if we want to train ranger skill.

And if we want to live with Dumbledore,I recommend that we don't train thief skill yet, that will remind him of Riddle.

If any of you are curious, 50+ guaranteed a Ministry presence at Privet Drive to watch the Dursleys, 80+ would have made it someone who just cares about keeping you safe, and not reporting any... Oddities. 100+ gets you the Minster, and thus choices to go elsewhere.
