Just to note, you can find the first year class schedule for Gryffindors on the wiki:

Whats the day in the quest? Anyone know?

Still want to visit Hagrid and have him teach us stuff about the forest and such. 10 levels of woodlore should not be all THAT hard, and it means more druid levels!

Also, now that Neville and Hermione know the truth, I wonder if theres anything they can do to help us complete the class quests. The only option that comes to mind is that we could try and steal harmless stuff from them? It probably won't count if we ask permission, but odds are that if we are caught, they would forgive us once we explain the quest (and we can always return whatever we take after we levelup thief).

As a side note, I'm thinking those 'temporary' buffs are going to come in REAL handy for our little Occlumency problem. That's a powerful stop-gap measure if we can just use it before it's too late.

They don't have to be impenetrable to Legilimency to keep their secrets secret. They just have to be able to detect attempted scans and delay and misdirect them from getting the beans while breaking eye contact or something similar.

The big problem is Voldemort, which means the defense class. Snape is also a problem and we don't want him learning the truth, but Voldemort is the really massive danger here.

Also, how do magical shields affect Legilimency? Perhaps we don't have to protect our mind from scanning, but simply protect our head from magic with an enchanted necklace or shirt-collar or something(Harry can charm his glasses too, if he's only worried about eyes). That gives us more options.

Doubt its that simple since it was not used in the books when Harry needed to learn defenses. HP magic probably is not capable of it.

There are some spells in the psionics d&d book (if we could acquire that) that might work though. Tower of Iron Will and Intellect Fortress both have short-range area of effect when it comes to mental defense. If we could get that book and learn those spells, we could probably help shield Hermione and Neville in class. Or atleast offer one more level of defense. There are also lots of other potentially usefull spells in that book, and it came out in 1991 so it should be available.

Now that Hermione knows the truth, we could probably ask her to contact her parents and arrange for them to buy that (and any other) book thats for sale. So long as we pay for it, I doubt they would object, and Hedwig can fetch the book(s) and bring it/them to Hogwarts.

Sunday, and tomorrow is monday. Going by a calendar for 1991, it had Sep 1st being a Sunday

It might could, but I don't have that one unfortunately. The AD&D books I have are the PHB, DMG, MM, Fiend Folio, and Unearthed Arcana.

It's what Harry was looking forward to most in canon.

Can't fail this quest really.
That sounds like a challenge

@Halpo133 How much Mana does Detect Evil cost?
Times like this, it feels like you are ignoring questions, rather than just missing them. Cause this is the 4th time I asked without a answer of any sort. Even one in the form of "It's a secret" would be sufficent, so I know it's not just bad-luck that you missed it yet again.

Going by how fast this thread moves, it just vanished under the flood of posting.

Random question btw. Can we re-use copied books we have already used for the buff?

Like for example. Lets say Harry knows he has potions class during the day. Can he copy a potion book in the morning, use it, and get a 24 hour buff to the skill that will allow him to perform even better during the class?

Hopefully this allows Neville to be better at potions. IIRC he melted his cauldron on the first day of potions.

And, as a side note, +1 per Level to INT, in addition to her normal Stat points. She's going to be a MONSTER when it comes to skills and ESPECIALLY Intel based skills at higher levels.

And, Neville, +1 VIT per level. Ok, he's our tank... But, due to AK curse, we need to get him Perception and Agility as well.

We should teach Neville Karate if he's going to be our Tank. That way he can get used to dodging incoming attacks.

Ten minutes at a mundane book store in the Martial Arts section (used book store would be even better), or via a mail order catalog, and you've got probably a dozen martial arts books.

Well, we just hit a jackpot with cloned books giving huge temporary buffs.
