[X] Mei Daiyu raises a point: by leaving the body behind, you are not losing anything you have worked for and you will weaken your group. You will leave the Cavern Bringer to rot.
[x] Your companions should go and you will remain here. You will not be able to harvest all of the Cavern Bringer before it loses potency, but you will still get something, and they will be able to watch each other's backs.

-[X] Bring the Cavern Bringer with you in your spatial ring.

-[X] Ask Zhaun Kun if he can store the Cavern Bringer in his storage ring. Perhaps his ring will be able to store the entire body and prevent any meaningful loss of Anam.
[x] All of you should remain behind. You can hunt for the slayer later, but if you wish to harvest all of the Cavern Bringer, you need all available hands.
[X] Jubilantly. Seated warriors have crushed a great foe! This is the kind of thing stories are written about- you think! They should be lauded for their deeds!
[X] Politely. You were just in the area and noticed that they appear to have stabbed a powerful menace to death. How did that come about?
-[X] Stay cautious. There's very little chance they managed to slay the beast on their own, let alone deal that one great wound upon its head.

[X] Three bronze talents per spear. In truth, it's more than a length of wood with a near-material strapped to it is worth, but it will be enough to let the farmers get through the season- and probably the next one too.
-[X] Ask them where the rock the mole ran into is

[x] Four bronze talents per spear, and the farmers explain what 'The Seated Must Stand' means and where it originated. This has the feeling of something much greater.

-[X] ...there is one more thing. You are Kong Zhi, Eighth Circle crafter. With their permission, perhaps you might upgrade a few to your standards?
[X] Write-In
-[X] Three bronze talents, and a name from every farmer who helped slew the beast, so those names may be writ on the spears they wielded. The Seated have stood this day, and that deserves remembering.

-[X] Ask them the location of the Rock which caused the headwound of the Mole. As you are travellers, get them into talking about the news in Mockingjay- just briefly though. Drop that you're all on a mission from the sect and the shortest path towards the city would be most appreciated.

-[X] Ask them the location of the Rock which caused the headwound of the Mole. As you are travellers, get them into talking about the news around these parts- interesting goings on about the nobles and people. Shortcuts and hidden paths are quite welcome too! Are there other monsters on the way to Mockingjay that need killing from here-a challenge for our Lord Zhuan Kun here perhaps? Strange places, items that we artists need looking into? Our fair fairy, Mei here would quite appreciate it if you recommended a place of beauty or… a bath. In fact! We would be honoured if you could all recommend a place where we could wash the filth off the road and relax. It has been quite the journey.

[X] The innkeeper has strong words about the quality of Mockingjay's smitheries. You may not learn a great deal, but you've a very vocal, very bored hammer that might find the sights intriguing and educational.
[x] The archives of Mockingjay fill an entire building set near the very center of the city. You never know what you will find as you browse through the dusty old scrolls, but one thing is for certain: you will find something you've yet to discover.
[x] Mei Daiyu does not linger in the Moonlit Conquest for long. She is out the door mere moments after you arrive, barely taking the time to let you know that she will be in the outer villagers should you need her. Perhaps she could do with some company.
[X] Zhuan Kun apparently has plans for Mockingjay. You are not certain what they are, however. When you ask him, the only response you get is that he 'plans to attend several schools'. He does not say that you are not allowed to join him, though, and you could follow him as he… audits several classes, you suppose.
[X] Thanks to Ming Hui's talented knife, you've feasted upon Immortal Cuisine before, but your friend is still but a student in its ways. Mockingjay is home to any number of establishments that claim to serve the grandest of anam-touched foods. You should attempt to corral Zhuan Kun and Mei Daiyu and visit one.
[X] A city as grand as Mockingjay has no end of problems that need to be solved, and you are an Artist capable of solving problems. You've joined a court for it even. You will venture onto the streets of Mockingjay and see what there is to deal with.
[X] Yours is far from the only group sent out to escort an imperial tester, and some trips have already borne fruit. A grand congregation of neophyte Servants is waiting for escort back to the Heart. Perhaps you could drop in on them and take the measure of the next Ninth Circle.
[X] The Ying Clan is spoken of with admiration on the streets of Mockingjay, and they are known far and wide for their generosity towards those who please them. Kong is always seeking out new contacts and though Mei Daiyu might not be happy with your actions, you are certain that with your pedigree and skills you can land a commission that will get your foot in the door.
[x] Mockingjay is home to Natural Wonders that are accessible to traveling Artists if you know who to ask. Thankfully, you are here on official business, and as such know exactly who to speak with to gain access to The Avenue of Serenity (Wood/Life/Peace 200. Cost: 2 Bronze Talents).
[x] Mockingjay may be new, but experiencing fresh locales is overrated. Your workbench is but a flick of the wrist away, and you've over a dozen materials to experiment with. You will return to your Estate and get to work.
[x] The outskirts of Mockingjay are safer than the Forest of Pearls, but that does not mean that they are truly safe. Numerous bounties on man and beast are posted on the inside of the walls. You will visit those boards and see what bounties are offered.

[x] There are several volumes of primers meant for neophyte Servants. They are supposed to help ground new walkers of the Path, but you can use their insights to further refine your breathing technique. (Cost: 2 Bronze Talents. Benefit: +1 Knowledge (Cultivation). Procs a follow-up vote to select Breathing Technique Refinements.)
[X] Mockingjay's Archives have no shortage of minor techniques that are tested and true. You will use this opportunity to fill a void in your arsenal. (Cost: 5 Bronze Talents. Benefit: Gain a Grade Two technique. Procs a follow-up vote to select Type and Aspect (Limited to the Basic Eight).)
[X] The Archivists keep the truly rare gems to themselves. For one of those to fall into your hands you will have to show them something that will rock their foundations. (Cost: A record of Shatter the Mirror. Benefit: Gain randomly aspected Grade Four technique.)
[X] Of course, you do not have to spend time discovering the hidden knowledge of Mockingjay yourself! They have several Archivists on staff who are here just to help people seek what they need. But they don't work for money. No, they only take other knowledge in trade. (Cost: A record of Blooming Spear of the Auroch. Benefit: Gain a Grade Two technique of a randomly chosen uncommon aspect.)
[X] You will stick with the general stacks. They may not contain the most earth-shaking information, but great value can still be found in the mundane. (Cost: Free. Benefit: +1 to two different random knowledge skills. Roll 1d20: nat 20 discovers a misfiled technique.)

[X] You become more accustomed to the ebbs and flows of anam and can handle the unexpected with far greater ease. (Natural 1s no longer subtract successes from cycling checks. Requires Knowledge (Cultivation) 8 to integrate into your breathing technique.)
[X] You learn to get a better sense of ambient anam and can draw it into your body. (Kong Zhi can cycle anam without a Natural Wonder at an 70% penalty. Requires Cycling 12 to integrate into your breathing technique.)
[X] You learn to better utilize trapped anam and can draw from it as you would like. (Kong Zhi can cycle anam from materials as if they were Natural Wonders. Each point drawn from the material weakens it a corresponding amount, and the material is destroyed when it's score reaches 0.)
[X] You become far more skilled at dealing with aspects of anam that you have incorporated into your very being. (Every point of anam that Kong Zhi cycles with an aspect he has integrated is multiplied by 1.2)

[X] The armorer who is putting the finishing touches on a gleaming helmet. It may not be the most fascinating thing for Chui Dao, but the Kukuni needs a well-rounded education.
[x] The weaponsmith currently laboring over a dagger-axe. It's an older style weapon, which means that there's plenty for Chui Dao to be curious about.
[x] The jeweler preparing an elaborate chain sleeve. It's fine work that's close to my heart, and I'm certain that Chui Dao can benefit from further jewelry lessons.

[X] I will tell him of my history in the Delving Heart. Perhaps by knowing what I have accomplished in the past, he will lose whatever hesitance has gripped him.
-[X] The mission I led into the Deeps. Where I gathered comrades of various skills and led them on a quest to take care of a problem to the sect.
[X] I will trade on the reputation of the Caretakers. Knowing exactly why I have been sent out and why my dossier was so censored could put him at ease.
[X] I will tell him of my history in the Delving Heart. Perhaps by knowing what I have accomplished in the past, he will lose whatever hesitance has gripped him.
-[X] The duel between Mo Hanying and Mei Daiyu, which I took to prove I could fight.
-[X] The hunt for the deadly phantom point, which I tracked to its lair and slew myself.
-[X] The creation of the Fractal View, a potent charm to command the shape of my body.

[X] North and east, through the southern portion of the Forest of Pearls. It will not be a fast journey, but it will bring us into contact with several settlements that would otherwise be neglected by the Grand Examination.
[X] Due east, then north through the Brightmaple Foothills. Traveling in the shadow of the mountains is not the safest endeavor, but we will get to travel quickly through mostly unexplored territory.
