I know it seems counterintuitive, guys, but it really feels like actually asking the villagers isn't going to result in anything helpful. Asides from the guy that welcomed us, they all very intentionally refused to interact with us, with the added exception of the kids, who Zhi was explicitly going after, and who tried to avoid him while still playing - they were going as far away as possible from the Examination.

It's possible that deviating from the 'script' of a 'perfect day' may result in a reset or something worse - like how the merchant seemed to disappear into thin air.

It may be that we'll obtain way more information from working the records and seeing if there's anything weird that comes to us.

Agreed. Everybody, not just the kids, was avoiding us. We can come back to Granny later, but I think helping with the testing is a good way to observe more.

I think that's very likely and we'll see that the anam is even more agitated the next time. They'll likely have to solve it without getting the anam too riled up, or get a perfect run to get out of the village.

There's likely been other testers there but they and the Artists accompanying them probably don't remember. So Zhi might be the only one able to notify his higher ups.

This definitely seems like the best to try for now, hopefully it doesn't immediately prog a reset.

Whatever is up with this town must have been occurring for some time given the inconsistencies in external records, perhaps any inconsistencies in internal records will provide clues.

    Alright, guys, judging by the discord reception, there's been some confusion over which vote won. So in the interest of making sure everyone's voice has been heard, I'm going to throw a quick runoff vote up here. This is going to last one day and only one day, so vote now or forever hold your peace.

    Asking Daiyu about history and asking her to try the Horizon are in, no matter what. So this vote is just between the following:

    What action does Kong Zhi take now that he has some small ability to change his past actions?
