To put that into perspective the increasing god situation: Sixty-Three Nineteen, the same one from canon, is currently going through some god shenanigans because their Emperor of Mankind tried to merge with what he thought was a godseed, that being a gestalt proto-god, but instead, he merged with a godspore.

A godspore is, to use a real-world term, more like a Kami or a localized godling. Not exactly a great powerup, especially when you are sharing a world with fucking Samus.

So it is to a point it is easier for god's to form from quality of faith rather than quantity

It is yes. You can think of it that higher quality faith is exponentially more useful than lower quality faith.

To expand on this, when a god is forming, it essentially goes through stages of birth. The first stage that is known is the godspore stage, where it's essentially feeding on what's birthing it like a fungus. At this stage it's just consuming it. Then comes the godseed stage, at which point it starts to become kind of self sustaining. It's at the end of this stage that the god is actually birthed.

That is to say that even in this instance, it's not necessarily cut and dry or consistent. This is what Ravenloft is trying to understand because this shit fundamentally makes no sense from a mortal perspective. The rules change all the time and exceptions are everywhere.

So what is the power up just a small temporary boast and the ability to feed on faith

Yep, a lot of the knowledge Ravenloft has been working with actively contradicts itself. Which has been causing no end of struggles for them.

So what is the power up just a small temporary boast and the ability to feed on faith

It's the ability to feed on faith if you're refering to the godseed stage. Prior to that it's a more inefficient method of gathering energy which Ravenloft doesn't know about.

Alright, to try and keep everyone not in Discord apprised of some of the more "important" questions, here are the most recent ones today. Note, this is not all of them, just ones that likely have some importance on some situations or in-game lore development.

1. What would Corvus be facing from Malcador and Thunder-Warriors kept in stasis, the Sisters of Silence with their Knight-Commander? Like numbers-wise?
A: For that, around a thousand Thunder Warriors and 100 Sisters of Silence

1a. What would happen to Venus if Malcador found/caught it?
A: He'd kill it with extreme prejudice

2. What does being a sorta Half-Eldar god mean for Venus? Can they protect Eldar souls? Or Elf souls?
A: Sadly no

4. I forgot to ask, but what physical attributes has Venus now taken on? Like hair and eye color? Have her ears become slightly elongated being half-eldar? She could make for an interesting baseline description for what most half-Eldar look like.
A: She's got ears in between Eldar and human. Tends to have shifting hair and eye color depending on what the person in question finds most attractive. Venus ironically is going to be considered one of the most dangerous gods by Ravenloft due to some of the stuff she can do

6. Venus learned quite a bit from Sachmis regarding specific emotional traits, but she was also running through Corvus's mind. Does this stand to reason then that her mentality balanced out because Corvus was a much more balanced individual?
A: It does, if he wasn't the first target, she'd be a fair bit more unstable

8. You mentioned this bit: A goddess of explosions, formed from such things as the fear of orbital fire which was a big issue during the end of the DAoT and a lot of the Age of Strife. I think I know where she might be born, somewhere within the Desolation region.
A: That she will be

12. Can 'true death' be inflicted on a god not of Chaos? I assume so, but what would be the consequences of such an action?
A: It can be and unknown

15, What exactly is the plan for Venus?
A: Start a war or two, have people fall in love with her, get some worshippers, build up her cult

8. yesterday you said that the greek/roman pantheon is all sorts of fuck because of what happen and because Venus is kind of taking the place of mars but can you expand on what that means and how will affect them?
A: Basically it means that said pantheon is going to have a bit of a civil war when its born due to the issues they'd have with the situation at hand

8c. I don't supposed Venus could be convinced to step down from head of the pantheon?
A: It'd require one hell of a negotiator

16: can Venus at all work with that power drain that Cegorach has placed on Slaanesh? Wondering if recent events have changed that at all.
A: They can't; it's not their specialty

8d.is Hephaestus the only greek/roman god that is not coming back?
A: That and Mars/Ares due to the Void Dragon

8e.that makes sense but wouldn't that fix the power void a bit since mars can't come back because he got eaten and Venus got his Domain on the Pantheon doesn't that mend that a bit?
A: It's more that Jupiter doesn't want Venus to be at his level

22. so what is a conceptual god compared to a religious god?
A: Conceptual gods draw their power directly from a concept being acknowledged. Religious gods get their power from worship directly

7. how much will exploiting the maelstrom relive the economic crisis?
A: Not at all, the Maelstrom exploitation will occur over the course of decades to centuries. Not in the timespan needed for the short term

1a. What would happen to Venus if Malcador found/caught it?
A: He'd kill it with extreme prejudice
Local Bureaucrat murders god
8e.that makes sense but wouldn't that fix the power void a bit since mars can't come back because he got eaten and Venus got his Domain on the Pantheon doesn't that mend that a bit?
A: It's more that Jupiter doesn't want Venus to be at his level
To be fair Venus is the only one of the Olympians I would consider less qualified than Jupiter for this Job (most are more qualified than him and a couple around the same level) and her new war aspect doesn't make it better

Can anyone give me link to where the 'Unbound' fought and killed by Fulgrim before entering Eye if Terror? I want to revisit it once again.

Sadly I don't believe Fulgrims encounter with the Unbound was ever written down, not even in omakes. However Tiny did make an omake about Fulgrim in the aftermath of their encounter.

The Lost Primarch Quest

In the 30th Millenia, the Imperium has been born. Under the watch of the Emperor of Man and his Primarchs, humanity is recovering from the Age of Strife. Follow one of the unknown Primarchs during the Great Crusade and see if you can make Warhammer a kinder setting.

Okay, another Q&A for tonight. Not sure how long I will keep up on this, but if it helps people get an idea of some of the more "broad" things that apply to the game, that's fine, I guess. As always, there are a lots more questions being asked on Discord.

2. How are the Eldar in general gonna react to Venus?
A: A hell of a lot of spiritual debate

5. Aside from Love and War, did Venus pick up any other domains?
A: She didn't

11. What does Davin see when he looks at Venus? Considering he's a Blank and all.
A: A nondescript humanoid figure without any notable features

14. For Kesar's tier 7, would the Eldar be willing to help with that?
A: Depends on circumstances

16. Let's say that Venus actually got to meet with Angron. She likely can't do anything for him, at least regarding the nails, but if she was able to encounter him and Angron didn't just go fucking berserk...what exactly could she give or do for him before his death? And I don't mean anything sexual-related.
A: She'd say it's a private thing for his ears only

17. What percent of a Chaos God was Chaos Horus equal to?
A: 10%

17a. What about Chaos Kesar
A: 50%

17b. Chaos Abaddon?
A: In 40k? 5%

18. what happens to Heroes when Kesar gets psychic powers unlocked?
A: Nothing really

2. how's Perturabo's research in AI is going?
A: Nothing rolled yet

3. how far is Dorn in building in the Imperial Palace?
A: 5. Just finished the Stage 1 defenses'

8. what level of normal CR would render Narrative CR ineffective
A: Depends on the circumstances

9. what is the Squat base CR
A: Base? +5 to human's +0

3. Which two Chaos Gods does Maticus still need to kill a greater daemon of for tier 5?
A: Khorne and Slaanesh iirc

Navy seals copypasta: Corvus corax version (non canon)
Origin: Went to a party last night, got shit faced, read memes, watched tts and re-wrote the navy seal copypasta as something corvus would say. I guess this counts as an omake? I'm not sure really but here: Navy seals copypasta: Corvus corax version.

Listen closely, misguided souls who doubt the prowess of my legion. I urge you to reconsider your misguided notions. For I, Corvus Corax, am the master of shadows, leading my warriors through the veil of darkness with unmatched precision.

I have trained my legion to become ghosts in the night, striking fear into the hearts of our enemies. We are the unseen terror that lurks in every shadow, the swift and deadly talons that snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.

Know this, foolish adversaries: I possess an unwavering resolve, forged in the crucible of hardship. I have honed my skills to perfection, blending into the abyss like a specter, delivering swift and decisive blows that leave no room for escape.

I have studied the art of warfare to its very core. My tactics are flawless, executed with the grace of a raven in flight. The element of surprise is my weapon, and the dread I instill in the hearts of my foes is my triumph.

In the grim darkness of the future, where chaos and corruption abound, I stand as a sentinel of justice, the guardian of hope. Through the darkness, I bring forth light. Through silence, I unleash retribution.

So, tremble, all who stand against us. The sons and daughters of Corax shall descend upon you like a tempest, their fury unyielding. We are the embodiment of shadows, the masters of unseen death. No fortress is impenetrable, no enemy beyond our reach.

Prepare yourselves, for when you least expect it, we shall strike, tearing asunder the fabric of your false bravado. The Raven Guard is a storm that cannot be quelled, an omen of doom for those who dare oppose us.

Beware, for the night has wings, and they belong to the sons and daughters of Corax.

Years 41 - 45 Part 9 - The High Lords of Terra
[X] Plan talking to our brothers and Father
-[X] Leman - The Primarch of the Space Wolves has sent a letter wishing to meet with Kesar. Citing recent tensions within the Imperium, and Kesar's own actions, the Emperor's Executioner wishes for an explanation for what has occurred. Notably, Leman has said he does still owe Kesar a favor.
-[X] The Emperor - While Kesar hasn't received a missive from the Emperor directly, he has received a circuitous message through multiple unofficial sources. It seems the Master of Man wishes to have a talk with him both privately and secretly.
-[X] Alpharius - The Hydra's letter was rather straightforward, directly telling Kesar to meet him at a designated location. That was beyond concerning considering Alpharius' personality. If he was being direct … Kesar didn't want to think about what that meant.

Now that he was given a moment of respite, Kesar found himself undertaking a far less stressful task. Looking over his collated notes on void shields and the warp, the Second Anathema began to organize them into a greater whole. As he did so over the course of the month-long journey, pieces began to fall in place ever so slowly. Better energy flows, more efficient generator designs, improved frequency shaping, and a thousand other fine details were optimized until Kesar finally realized that there was not much further he could go. At this point, he could consider his Titan void shield designs masterworks.

*Provides two regenerating wounds for Warlord Titans and larger, these regen each turn no damage is taken by 1. Provides 1 regenerating wound for below Warhounds but this is a -10 wound. Can be installed by high-skill Archmagos*

Diving further, he began to look at his research with Magnus that took place almost 30 years ago. While at the time he hadn't gotten much out of it, now, with his deeper understanding of the warp, he began to see hints of more. While artificial warp rifts were disturbingly possible, even without any sacrifices, closing them using non-psychic means was difficult. It was within the realm of reality, but any such device would by its very nature be fragile. And trying to move a fragile object near a warp rift was a recipe for disaster. But at the very least it was an option.

*Can create technology to close warp rifts. Such devices are extremely fragile and nearly impossible to use near active warp rifts at this time.*

Finally, Kesar could say he had finished the backlog of work he had yet to organize. The last of which was his ideas on manipulating warp reflections. It had been a lengthy project, for it took place over decades, but his experiments had finally yielded results. A large part of warp reflections were the beliefs of people that lived in an area. By manipulating their ideals and thoughts, it became possible to create a self-reinforcing loop of narrative importance in locations. The only downside was that it took decades to do. But it was nonetheless a useful asset for long-term defensive construction.

*Can slowly create narratives around large locations. Takes a long time to do.*

For a more personal endeavor, Kesar began to look into the SDS and find ways to utilize aspects of its design on a broader level. Thanks to his excessive work on Titan void shields, there were a number of optimizations that could be miniaturized. The only downside was that it drastically complicated the technology, to the point where he was the only one that could create void shields on a personnel scale. However, being able to do so was nonetheless an improvement, even if it would take up some of his valuable time.

*Opens other actions to create personnel void shields for Heroes*

Then came the work from his sons. From Auro, he received a rather large series of data on advanced research into concepts. But more importantly was a design for a Nechronal Forge, a design capable of creating advanced psychic alloys. It was limited to a small amount each day, but it would be useful for more advanced research into the warp, as well as more advanced support equipment for various Astartes. Additionally, Scotty also had delivered himself. Providing a set of data on teleportation research, the Warden had managed to extend the operational range of the teleportarium. There were limits, namely after use it had to be almost entirely overhauled due to the power draw required, but being able to teleport a small strike team from outside of the orbital defense range would be useful.

*Kesar gets the Nechronal forge schematic*
*Gain the ability to perform a long-distance teleport strike. This teleportation will prevent teleportation for a while afterward, however.*

Then came more good news, the rune planet had made progress. While he had been forced to work on it from a distance, the work done on the ground by Clarke did highlight important points to consider. And when combined with Kesar's own work to simplify the runic design process, and the work done by a surprisingly skilled human psyker named Rowena Gera, they had finally managed to expand productive psykers to 40. Still a small number, but progress nonetheless.

The more problematic news came when trying to create stable living quarters for a greater number of psykers. While the warding for the quarters was a problem, the larger issue was the mental strain placed on the psykers themselves. The problem mainly stemmed from the knowledge that the quarters would be for psykers, and with the Imperium's stance on psykers, it was little wonder that finding workers willing to create psychic quarters was a challenge. Clarke already had gone through 5 separate Imperial Army regiments before managing to recruit several veterans that had previously worked with the Thousand Sons before retiring. Yet the issues continued to persist.

Two particularly problematic thorns remained. The first was the local Sector Governor who did not want this many psykers in her fief. While she wasn't actually against psykers personally, a rarity to say the least, the power brokers in the sector were and so she was heavily pressured into denouncing the rune world.

The second, and more vocal critic, was a Lord General that was known for their focus on psychic threats. While she hadn't directly interfered with the rune world, she had been drumming up support in opposition for it, causing considerable backlash against what was viewed as a waste of money on psykers. To quote the Lord General, "Why the fuck are we spending 10 times as much on a psyker's room than we do a guardsman?"

Unfortunately, this has led to a palpable sense of unease on the Rune World, with Medizin Clarke requesting a small detachment of Wardens in order to ensure security for the next few months. He has also warned that he doesn't see a diplomatic solution unless he's allowed to draw directly upon Kesar's name. As he read this, the Primarch decided to

[] Allow it and send 100 Wardens to ensure the safety of the rune world
[] Refuse, but send additional Wardens to ensure peace. 1000 should be enough.
[] Write-in

There was something more to this, Kesar thought to himself as the Stormbird he was on descended to the planet's surface. Oriacarius had spent days trying to convince him to take the entire Legion with him as security, but the XIth still believed that the Emperor was not truly insane. Ever since he had received those back channel invitations, he'd known his creator would surprise him in some way. Just setting up this meeting was a surprise in and of itself, and Kesar couldn't figure out what the topic would cover.

Oriacarius seemed terrified of the possibility of an assassination attempt, Maticus thought it was a genuine gesture of good faith, Baldur suggested it was an independent negotiation over his demands, and Kesar thought that no one could predict what was to come.

There was a sense of unease within his heart. The unknown was never safe to venture into, and here Kesar was, venturing into an unknown unknown. Ideally, the conversation would begin with the Emperor agreeing to step down as the Imperium's leader, but the odds of that happening were so unlikely that he could at least plan for something else to occur.

The Stormbird landed, and the door opened. "I humbly greet the Emperor of Man," Kesar spoke to his creator who nodded in acknowledgment.

"Walk with me," the Emperor responded, causing Kesar to momentarily falter at the tone of his voice. It wasn't the normal voice of the Emperor, it felt as if there was something missing.

"What are you …" he trailed off, not sure how to ask without being accusatory, "why are you talking like that?"

"I've always talked like this," the Emperor explained cryptically, "you've only now learned to hear what I say. A feat only a bare handful are capable of."

"Do your notes cover this?" Kesar asked, knowing he had quite a lot of reading to do over the next few decades.

"No, to write down this explanation so that it could be understood would take centuries."

"A shame," the Second Anathema interjected before having a thought. "Does it have to do with your soul?"

"Yes," he responded, "but not in the way you think. It's due to the weight of it, not because it's incomplete."

"Will you be fixing it then?" He asked for it was why he had done all of this to begin with. But at this time, Kesar knew what the answer would be.

The Emperor didn't say anything at first, just staring off into nowhere. "I will be, yes." That was not the answer Kesar was expecting, nor the one he believed.

"Truly?" He asked in what he hoped was a neutral tone. "Are you actually stepping down?"

"I think you've acted in haste," the Emperor began. "That you're letting sentiment cloud your judgment, that you are making a major mistake." Then he sighed, "Unfortunately, I'm forced to participate in it, as if I do not, then you would take more drastic measures."

The Daemonsbane would have to agree with that, "I can't say that's an incorrect analysis. Apart from the fact this isn't a mistake in my eyes."

The Master of Man looked at him with clear disappointment, "Then we shall agree to disagree."

"Alright," Kesar simply said. "Then what shall rule the Imperium?"

"A council of humans, the Consilium Principis, a group of 12 chosen from a variety of sources. Neither I, Malcador, nor a Primarch may hold a position within the group." The Emperor stated in a factual tone. "Of the council, one member shall be chosen by the Primarchs to act as their voice, another shall be chosen by the Mechanicum. The rest shall be from a variety of the Imperium's main departments."

"Hah," Kesar let out a joyful chuckle, "I … I was terrified you would have refused to listen. And here you are, agreeing to all demands made by Horus and I. Thank you, Lord Emperor."

The response was a slow blink, followed by a slow nod, "a lesser being would have refused to listen, but I am a being of logic. This is the only path forward."

"Quite a few people claim to be logical," Kesar said before he reached out to clasp the Emperor's shoulder. "Few, however, can claim that truthfully."

He still wasn't fully convinced, yet from everything that was said today, Kesar saw a far brighter future for the Imperium as a whole. The Emperor had listened to him, and at the very least, had agreed to his demands. His thoughts must have been readable from his expression, for the Master of Man dampened his celebrations with his next words. "There are, however, demands made by your council that cannot be accepted."

"I expected as much," he said simply, "almost all discussions end in compromise."

"The demands made by Vulkan and Kelbor-Hal are simply not feasible." The Emperor stated simply. "Those demands of theirs are impossible for the Imperium to fulfill at this time."

"But why is that the case?" Kesar asked, "Can you at least provide a concrete timeline for that?"

"Can you provide a timeline for the removal of the Eye of Terror?" The Master of Man responded to his question with a question. "It is simply a fundamental fact of logistics. The only people that would want his reforms are the people that are least helpful to the Imperium. The people that Vulkan's reforms hurt are the people most helpful to the Imperium. So if they are implemented, the Imperium's economy will die more than it already has. It is something to begin when the Imperium has enemies that can take advantage of its weakness, similar to an invasion of the Eye."

"The resources involved are so great, it must be the only point of focus," Kesar finished for the Emperor.

"And trying to predict what enemies will arise is an impossibility," the Emperor expanded upon the Primarch's words.

"What of his demand to not invade every world?" the Primarch pointed out. "Surely that could be agreed to."

The Emperor reluctantly nodded. "I am willing to compromise on that if necessary."

Kesar didn't speak, hoping the Emperor would fill in the silence for him. When that didn't happen, he prompted further, "How so?"

"I am willing to make a public statement supporting the concept," the Master of Man explained, "but it would be up to the Primarchs to determine what planets should and shouldn't be invaded in their domains. And if a planet within their domain becomes a problem, they will be expected to handle it."

"That … seems reasonable," Kesar said, finding it slightly hopeful that at least there was one concession. "And of Kelbor-Hal's demands? You have to give him something."

The Emperor's face screwed up into an expression of distaste. "He and Malcador can discuss it in person. Malcador can find something to manage him, even if it will cost the Imperium greatly."

Kesar bristled at the implication, but wisely stayed silent, accepting that the Emperor would be a less than pleasant conversationalist on the topic of the Mechanicum. "Then Mortarion and Magnus' demands?"

"I'm willing to place Mortarion in command of the Astra Telepathica."

"..." Kesar didn't say anything for several seconds. "...and if he proves busy for a few years?"

The Emperor shrugged, "he can run it as he wishes. If he wishes to appoint someone to run it for him he can."

"I must say I wasn't expecting this." The Second Anathema truthfully responded. "How will that work with the Consilium Principis? Primarchs aren't allowed, yet Mortarion is the head of the Astra Telepathica."

"The Telepathica doesn't get a seat," the Emperor bluntly responded. "It is too immature and disliked by most to be given that level of power."

"I suppose," Kesar said neutrally.

"As for you," the Emperor began, "you have the option of unlocking your own potential today." Kesar glanced up, surprised at the offer. "Just say the word."

"And if I delay it?" He asked, more curious at the Emperor's answer than the question of if he could.

A shrug was his answer, "Then you delay it, but I will not be free at your behest. Merely when convenient for me."

"You are being very accommodating here." Kesar idly observed, finding this entire experience somewhat surreal.

"I have my reasons." The Emperor deflected.

"Like for the telepathica," Kesar continued to analyze the Emperor's plans, realizing what he almost overlooked. "You're using this to sideline him."

"I'm giving him what he asked for," came the reply. "He wanted things to be fixed, I'm merely giving him the opportunity."

"I hope he sees it that way."

"I have literally met all his demands," the Emperor said, a tinge of irritation entering his voice. The first Kesar could recall hearing from the Master of Man. "If he thinks that is insufficient, then I hope you can talk some sense into him."

Very cautiously, Kesar nodded. "If it proves necessary I will talk with him."

"You may have to talk to many Primarchs in the future," the Emperor said cryptically, "and for the sake of stability, I will warn you that you will not be in a good state when you first unlock your psychic potential."

"I can handle it," Kesar said confidently, before taking a moment to caution himself. Overconfidence was the greatest killer at times, "as long as I remain off the battlefield, my mind can handle it."

The Emperor gazed at him with an odd expression. Not quite nostalgia, but something close. "It is not a matter of will, but a matter of mind. To see the warp in such a way is to force the mind to work in ways it never has. A strong will is needed, but so too is a trained mind."

That made sense to Kesar, his sons went through extensive training when they unlocked their powers after all, why wouldn't he? "Then how long do you expect this training to be?"

"Two decades," the Emperor responded, "at least ten of which you must spend off the battlefield."

Kesar grimaced upon hearing this, "Two decades? Surely there must be some way or means to reduce the timeframe."

"Such is the price of power, my son. This is to ensure your safety."

"But ten years? What state will I be in during that?"

His Father had the decency to look uncomfortable, "Vulnerable."

"How vulnerable?"

"Enough that I would awaken these powers on Terra," the Emperor stated, "and I would highly recommend you stay there for a decade."

"Recommend? Not order?" Kesar caught the specific wording used and wondered what was the meaning behind it.

The Emperor looked at him flatly, "How would it look if I ordered a Primarch that publicly took a stance against me to remain confined on Sol for two decades?"

"Ah," Kesar realized now. "...there's no real way to respond to that."

The Emperor stared.

"Anyways!" The Second Anathema said, trying to change the subject. "There has to be a means to reduce the time it takes for this."

"There are no shortcuts for this."

"I didn't say a shortcut. I'm willing to put in the work before my awakening. Surely you have some idea."

His Father again looked uncomfortable but did not speak to confirm or deny such a thing. "Think what you must, but it will take that long unless you go down a far darker path."

"You mean sacrifice one of my sons," Kesar realized, "in that case, I'm unwilling to take that path."

"That is one such path," the Emperor explained, "but there are others."

Kesar blinked, surprised at the possibility, yet highly interested nonetheless. "I wasn't expecting that."

"Let me tell you about the Eldar," the Emperor began, forcing Kesar to suppress a full-body twitch at the mention of them.

"The … Xenos?"

"Yes, your son fought them before." The Emperor explained. "They were a powerful psychic species once, capable of feats such as reincarnation, and were all universally psykers. One of their gods was shattered, their remnants spread across the galaxy. One of them was used to help create the Primarchs."

"Wait, what?" Kesar expressed. "I'm part god? An alien god? That... explains quite a lot, actually." He thought back to Orus and Guilliman. "All too much."

"In the sense that the god was made of warp stuff and you are as well. Their essence was distilled and filtered and is only a part of the story. There's more relevant knowledge to it." The Emperor continued. "The shard made up the base, allowing you to reside in the physical. The parts that made you, you were all human."

"Human as in humans? Or…?"

"Human as in gods," came the answer. "Fulgrim fought and killed a human god recently, so they are physical, but the Eldar gods are more physical than is possible for reasons that I won't be going into today. Regardless, there are ways to use that part of your creation to tie you to the warp directly."

"Do you have another shard of an Eldar god?" Kesar asked, thinking he may know where this is going.

"No, and even if I could get one, which I can, I don't know how to use it that way." An expression of academic interest crossed the Emperor's face. "At least not safely. The actual way to shorten your psychic awakening resides in another remnant of the Eldar, their soul stones."

"Unfortunately, they are very protective of their soul stones."

"I can understand why," Kesar said faintly. "I really hope you're referring to empty soul stones."

"If I was, I'd have told this to you immediately." The Master of Man explained. "But filled soul stones are another matter entirely. Those will get a very strong response from the Eldar."

"Not to mention monstrous," Kesar muttered. "Even for Xenos that's too cruel."

"It's better than their usual fate," the Emperor said, making Kesar's eyes widen. "If I had access to the Webway, I'd undoubtedly have a more efficient solution, but they insist on keeping me out."

"I don't understand, why tangle yourself with the Eldar like this?" Kesar was still processing what his father just revealed, "Plus why not go directly to them for help in this matter, in any matter related to this?"

"That, my son, is a very dangerous and complicated matter, one that requires another conversation and one within the confines of the palace."

"I'm starting to see a bit of the appeal with staying on Terra now..."

"Then your answer?"

Kesar frowned, "you still haven't answered what we would be doing with the soul stones. Also, what is the Webway?"

"The Webway is an interstellar series of tunnels capable of transporting men and material between star systems with unimaginable speed and efficiency," the Emperor clarified. "And for the soul stones, one can turn souls from Eldar to human, leaving behind the energy for one to consume."

"That seems awfully convenient," Kesar slowly said. "Have you … done this before?"

"Not with Eldar," the Emperor said slowly, "I have with other warp beings, however."

"What happened to them?"

"They escaped into the warp," came the answer, "so I'm afraid I don't know."

[] "What do we need to do then?" - Psychic awakening occurs far faster than normal (5 years total)
[] "I'm unwilling to do this, but the awakening is valuable." - Psychic awakening occurs naturally. (20 years total)
[] "After considering matters, now would not be a good time." - No psychic awakening

Well then. This is some pretty major lore. The Primarchs being effectively shards of Eldar Gods explains quite a lot actually about why they are so powerful.

Can we get a hint at what [] "What do we need to do then?" - Psychic awakening occurs far faster than normal (5 years total) entails?

Does "What do we need to do then?" Means eating Eldar souls? Because first of all, that's completely immoral and second of all, xeno or not Morty would never forgive us for becoming a soul-eater.

I didn't expect Big E to be willing to step down, which was a massive surprise for me personally. But when you look at it from his point of view it makes sense, the goal isn't for him to rule over humanity it's to reunite humanity to secure it's survival and that objective is completed, Big E staying the Emperor would just endanger that.

From what Kesar has been able to tell based on his own knowledge and Emps' words. It involves a ritual that uses Eldar soulstones.

In this ritual, the soul within the soul is seperated into the core person and its psychic potential. This severing then throws out the person but uses the psychic potential in some manner.

Note that Kesar is highly unsure this would actually preserve the soul, but is pretty sure that it won't have consequences for him. Just for the Eldar souls used if Emps isn't skilled enough to do it properly.

If done on living beings can that create blanks

First off, holy crap.

So glad we took this meeting. Emps is being WAY more reasonable than I thought he would be.

I was expecting something like absolute resistance to any of it and explanations why. Him being willing to step down... is astounding. This drastically improves the situation and reduces the chances of a civil war.

It's definitely not what everyone wants but it's a hell of a lot better than I thought they would get. Right of the bat especially.

As to the power unlocking...

We kinda plan to work with the Eldar in the future, right?

They could probably sense if we graft Eldar psychic residue onto ourself or something. Best to take the twenty years rather than take the shortcut.
