@Daemon Hunter A possible suggestion for Kesar in this situation. Can we maybe write a thoroughly detailed letter explaining why we are doing this to Malc, and give it to Omegon for when he leaves?

This doesn't resolve anything, but it might make for a good step as a means of allowing Kesar to claim that he took steps to reach out to Malc after being "advised" on the situation by Omegon.

You could do that, it'd essentially be Kesar explaining why he's doing it and what he wants to get out of it. If you do vote for that, don't actually write the letter, as I already have a good idea of what would be in it.

Would the letter be a sub-vote for something like "Go ahead and tell him" or do what you think is best?

I imagine Omegon will attempt to read the letter beforehand as well? You know, spies read the allies letters and what not.

Giving him a letter would be a separate vote, and I can confirm Omegon would read the letter himself before delivering it.

[X] Write in: Write a letter for Omegon to read and take to Malcador (you know he will and would be a bit insulted if he didn't). Kesar will detail his intended goals and hopes for what he is planning, acknowledging that this will most likely cost him at the very least Malcador's trust in Kesar and far more besides. Kesar details what he hopes to accomplish and why, and only hopes that in time Malcador will come to forgive him, even if the Sigilite will not be able to rely on Kesar any more.

Yeah, this is about the only way Malcs will ever fucking talk to us again, and even then that's a coin flip.

I have to say(I joined late so I'm not sure if I'm correct or not for this quest) this is the first time I've seen an unanimous vote on a quest.

To be fair this was discussed more in the discord where the meat of the discussions happen

The die is cast, and a letter sent. May the warp have mercy, for many will not.

We're too inconvenient to just assasinate, what with a solid half the primarchs being if not allies, then at least friends, as well as us being too useful to discard. We're the imperiums best anti chaos weapon short of THE EMPEROR HIMSELF

August 27, 2022 Omake Rewards
After claiming the STC, Kesar went to the astropaths. "Right. I need you to send the news of this discovery immediately. Since we can't let the warp corrupt the message or let daemons try to modify it, I need you to spend tonight just projecting 'STC GOOD SHIPPING CONTAINERS! STC GOOD SHIPPING CONTAINER! STC GOOD SHIPPING CONTAINERS!'"

Alright omakes, first up we have a rather fun omake on the shipping container STCs and other shipping ones that were found. I will say I enjoyed this one a fair bit.

[] +5 to a roll of the GM's choice
[] +10 to a Administratum project to safeguard these designs
[] Slight cost decrease for IA implementation of these as troop transports

The Chronicles of Baldur: What If? (Reflections and Solemn Talk Across the Maelstorm) Part 1

Up next is a fun omake on Baldur, and a hypothetial of him going into the Maelstrom. A bit sad it wasn't a series, but it was still fun to read.

[X] +10 to Baldur's roll for his current project

Up next we have a rather fun omake on the budget knights, I remember you describing these, and I'm happy to see them covered well here. As for your reward:

[X] +10 to the compliance regarding these knights

The Veerana Compliance.

Then we have a compliance that was honestly a long time ago, which I find to be rather fun, mainly due to how it was shown. I rather enjoyed it overall, and for your reward:

[] +5 to a roll of the GM's choice
[] +10 to Konrad's next roll
[] Slight increase to experience Konrad gained from this compliance

The life of a Legionnaire did not change much. It never did, really, save for when their Father, their Primarch was discovered. Such was the case for the sixteenth: The Luna Wolves, the Sons of Horus.

Then we have the fast knights, a rather agile variant of the knight houses. I will say these guys are rather Eldar in terms of capabilities and design, which I find interesting.

[X] +10 to the compliance regarding these knights

Then we have another great omake on Morningstar, this one covering new weapons made through his own flesh, I did enjoy seeing this omake take fold.

[X] +10 to Morningstar's next combat roll

ITEHAP - Episode 11: The Lost And Found.

Up next we have a fantastic omake on. I've got to say I absolutely loved all of it, from the leadup, to the skirmish, to Kesar and Magnus trying to make sense of TTS, and of course, the chat room of the Chaos Gods. All of those were fantastic. As for your reward:

[] +15 to a roll of the GM's choice
[] Ask the GM a question and they shall answer (subject to veto)
[] Magnus or Dorn gains an extra action next turn (pick who)

Up next we have more of Mysterio's omakes, this ones covering more of the Maelstrom War, I have already used these I will say, just to make my life easier.

1. +2 to a single roll in the Maelstrom
2. +2 to a single roll in the Maelstrom
3. +2 to a single roll in the Maelstrom
4. +2 to a single roll in the Maelstrom
5. +2 to a single roll in the Maelstrom

Then we have more omakes from a while back, I did enjoy reading these in my spare time, mainly just due to the number.

1. +2 to a single roll in the Maelstrom
2. +2 to a single roll in the Maelstrom
3. +2 to a single roll in the Maelstrom
4. +2 to a single roll in the Maelstrom
5. +2 to a single roll in the Maelstrom
6. +2 to a single roll in the Maelstrom
7. +2 to a single roll in the Maelstrom
8. +2 to a single roll in the Maelstrom
9. +2 to a single roll in the Maelstrom
10. +2 to a single roll for Ferrus

Then we have more of these omakes, and I've got to say I enjoy going back to see some of the older one off characters. Little Leman was fun for me to write.

10. +2 to a single roll in the Maelstrom

To Mend Scars, At The Outer Dark.

Up next we have the exile Raven Guard, a nice bit of lore that often isn't referenced. Thinking on it, that would explain why many forgotten chapters in Embers seem to be Raven Guard. Regardless, I did enjoy this omake, and I especially liked the characterization of Khan. As for your reward:

[] +10 to a roll of the GM's choice
[] Slight decreases in losses for the exiled
[] Slight increase in the friendliness of the exiled if Khan runs into them

I have to say, before anything else, Daemon Hunter... your nanomachine threats seem to keep getting the short-end of the stick, huh?

Anyways, glad I could cover this. I should really omake more 'minor' interesting events over the Great Crusade, when I can. With this in mind, I pick the third option, Slight increase to experience Konrad gained from this compliance.

This was such a fun thing to write! Glad I could capture the voices of the TTS characters well enough, and Kesar and Magnus of this quest being involved in this. Was worried it'd fall apart, but happy I kept it working well.

And, thanks to an amazing suggestion in the Discord server, I pick the second option, Ask the GM a question and they shall answer (subject to veto), and my question is...

...What can you tell us about all the Rune World project's stages?

Hell yeah, OG Raven Guard are awesome lore. Not much more to say about that, tbh.

I choose the third option, Slight increase in the friendliness of the exiled if Khan runs into them.

...What can you tell us about all the Rune World project's stages?

You're currently on stage 4 which is having a handful of productive psykers, here are the next stages:

Stage 5: Expanding to double digits of psykers (rune production ~1% of the Legion's) DC95
Stage 6: Creating secure housing for psykers DC95
Stage 7: Expanding to triple digits of psykers (rune production ~10% of the Legion's) DC95
Stage 8: Properly constructing infrastructure to support expansion and colonization DC95
Stage 9: Expanding to quadruple digits of psykers (rune production ~100% of the Legion's) DC90
Stage 10: Setting up psyker import routes for further growth. No DC
Stage 11: Expanding to five digits of psykers capable of making runes (rune production ~x10 of the Legion's). DC85

Further stages are present as well, but at this time, those can vary considerably depending on various factors. One possibility is simply continuing the growth, albeit at reduced growth rates as the exponential growth turns into linear growth. There is also the option os increasing the focus on higher tier runes in order to better equip Astartes over guardsmen, and that's something you could switch to around stage 8 or so.

Hmmmmmm probably better keep it on guardsmen, let the astartes worry about astartes tier runes. Maybe save that for if we ever get a second one going.
