Leman has a few issues with Kesar that I'll explain here. The first is that you are friends with a fair few people he doesn't really get along with. The second is that he is effectively grading how good you are by your compliance rate, and yours isn't the highest through no fault of your own. However, Leman doesn't care and things of you as just a step above Lorgar. There are other reasons, but I'm going to keep them hidden for now.
On mars Inside his personal Manufactorum Kelbor-Hal mused over a data copy of a holy STC that arrived four years ago the original had been interred into the temple of all knowledge after being studied as a matter of course. The STC discovery was clearly a gift from the Omnissiah and an opportunity to bind the XI and Kesar closer to him. He could not just give away the contents of the STC without showing his favour to the eleventh without rising a few eyebrows and making his fellow faithful look closer which would dangerously interfere with his secret projects that would have many a tech priest screaming herateck and traitor before attempting to kill him. But thanks to Kesar's efforts on Hearth IV he could recruit safely more like minded and less orthodox individuals who would help him with his research and solidify his powerbase further.
And the opportune moment he had waited but not quite expected had arisen thanks to his spies in the imperial palace who were on his behest trying to find out what the Emperor found so important to shut himself away for all Kelbor-Hal knew was that much warp based Archeotech Psicoreachtive martials and strangely gold plating were being used. His tech priest spies were reluctant to give anymore information as it was clear that giving him even that was dangerous enough and anymore spying around the most powerful Psyker secret project was suicide and Kelbor-Hal knew if he could lose his carefully built network of spies and give his political rival a reason to remove him or reduce his power and gain further control over the Mechanicus he would be foolish not to as tricking the faithful into a favourable by healing the knight and letting them believe him to be the Omnissiah was a political masterstroke on the golden psykers part it was a good thing that their intrusts for mankind were aliened for outright conflict against the Emperor was not in Kelbor-Hals future goals.
However those very spies had delivered to him the news that Lorgar and by extension the word bearers had been declared Excommuniate Traitoris now he had expected the XI to casualties like station Gehenna at some point against the warp type Xenos as given their high threat rating and when Kesar clearly needed a way to prevent this he would give his ally and dare he say it... friend a means to prevent such a tragic catastrophe while the primarch would be grateful he would look into how a new pattern of power armour and Boltgun with special types of ammunition had been produced so quickly to fill his ranks so that stage Gamma of his plan could go forward.
The plan called Due of the Omnissiah and it came into being after his first meeting with the Eternal sovereign and the handing over of Station Gehenna as he had bemoaned the fact the primarchs horded hoarded any STC and printouts they found resulting in a very displeasing situation for the Mechanicus and soon after Kesar had left the Omnissiah had left within his thoughts a plan a way to gain the holy data and printouts unfortunately he would have to use the wardens as pawns however the Omnissiah had shown him the way but not the means to achieve the way. That was until the creation of MKIIB by his ally as a elegantly simple tool of the moment to protect his sons had made from the reports from his Tech priests that his brothers desired something similar to increase their compliance rates.
so began stage Alpha the stage which he prepared the infrastructure and extra Explorator Fleets he began with the Explorators finding young or dissatisfied members of the faith who were uncontent to simply sit and wait for knowledge who had the spark of potential were approached by his followers of the forth degree and were ether befriended by said follower helped along by their targets personality profile to ensure success who then encouraged them to see that there place was among the stars and it would please the Omnissiah greatly that such talent was being used in his name. While others sudden great revelations that seemed to be happing with shocking frequency and strangely had the Same message "go to the stars." Soon a wave of zeal seeped over Mars causing shipbuilding production to increase tenfold as shipwrights believed they were following the Omnissiahs direct commands as the newly ordained Explorators needed ships to carry out his will and it was their holy duty to make it so however it would despite the iron ring and the refitting of old mothballed ships three years to do .
Kelbor-Hal had not been idle the three years that the ships were being built as he approached Magos and Arch Magos alike for favours such as the retooling of a production lines at his request when the time came or cargo ships to necessitate the transportation of the wardens gift as his offering to help the politically weary Magos Varick and others like to obtain forge moons like Skaras III and Skara totalling 50 in number knowing that they should be built in time before any results of useful STC would appear.
now he had achieved stage alphas objectives stage beta could begin and with Lorgar's betrayal he could do away with the distasteful part that reacquired Kesar to sacrifice his sons now he could say only trusted Kesar and this new equipment and production lines of the forge moons was equivalate of twenty forge worlds was encase of a legion going rouge. his ally would be a fool to turn down his aid and once the new power armour and Boltgun was in use and once the other legions knew that he could supply only half of them at the currant time of reviling they would have to negotiate for them and hand over the STC and printouts as well as ones in the future in exchange for the new weapons. If they refused to for any reason to hand over the STC printouts and future dark age Tech he would make it as difficult as possible for them to restive any new weapons and ammunition that would grind them to the pace of at lest ten planets a year even if this failed. it would remind the primarchs who made their conquests possible and not all of his new favours were materiel making sure that any consequences he suffered minimal.
returning to the present Kelbor-Hal could not help but admired the patterns of power armour and Boltgun that would further the Quest for knowledge
The power armour was superior to the MKII and MKIIB in every way there was no truly flat surface on it except were the power pack met the armour instead it was slightly cylindrical on the front and back to better deflect incoming bullets and doubled the effective thickness while the rest of it looked similar to the MKII its curvature made it looked while the helmet looked far less ungainly what made the armour better was the internals the fibro mesh was simply better until combined with a crystal lattice had incredibly shaved off two minutes of the previous armour Kelbor-Hal theorised that it could carry twice as much armour If the speed if offered was sacrificed. It had better targeting programming also it allowed for the helmet to link with the new boltgun so the user merely had to shoot and the cogitator would do the rest the final thing of note was the helmets filtration system was vastly more sophisticated allowing the wearer to survive in environments that would kill even a Astarte as well as being vacuum sealed against space complemented by an internal oxygen supply should the user find the filters lacking.
The aforementioned Boltgun was stocker but more refined then the Phobos pattern with a shorter barrel a hand grip below the barrel would allow the user to contain the formidable recoil as it had a calibre of 0.75 instead of the Phobos's 0.70 a small difference to the uninitiated however the true prize lay in what it fired. Each Bolt round fired was a dual warhead the first part of the warhead was a shaped charged head that allowed for the round to flash fray its contents into plasma allowing for a affect not dissimilar to plasma weapons that softened or outright destroyed. This allowed for the secondary adamantium tipped head to penetrate and with its more powerful charge explode violently inside the target leaving a hole the size of a human head. All the user would see was a white flash followed by a microsecond delay before the typical bolt round explosion truly it was perfect armour killer as well as a general improvement to the wardens fighting capability's.
Kelbor-Hal internally smiled to himself as he walked out of his forge he had already given the order to begin production of the new sovereign pattern power Armour and the retribution pattern boltgun would find their way into the hands of Kesar and phase gamma could begin in three years time everything was going just as he had planned.
(AN/ the armour its just the heresy pattern the reaction time will not change with future marks they just have better programming and armour changers as the fibro mesh crystal lattice is at its tech limit you would need some form of warp based mesh but the servos will need upgrading or the armour would kill the user by ripping them apart and the Boltgun is the Godwyn MKIII Boltgun that fires a round of my own making that uses the principles behind shaped charged that past armies in our world have used in their tank shells and used the theory of tandem sabot add a bit of 40k nonsense and you get a Boltround that is half based in realty and half in fantasy a true weapon of SiFi )
@Daemon Hunter what do you think of m characterization of Kelbor-Hal as a politician and his scheme to get the primarchs to negotiate while helping out his favoured Primarch the fires of industry omake was not just a one off he fully plans to invest in the new patterns Wardens as they have recorded of going out of there way to help the Mechanicus and his intrusts so he's betting on them. I think the narrative effects of this omake should be massive
if any one has a question don't be afraid to ask as I consider this my magnum opus of omakes that people will struggle to top
Over and over again Kesar had sent his Legion against worlds filled with corruption. Each time, there were so few who were completely free of that taint. Yet, the numbers of those who were only partially corrupted, who might be saved if they just had some way to cleanse them of that residual taint were so much larger. After Velnias I he'd taken the time to start working on what he though would help, a Rune of Purity, but progress was too slow. So many millions would die if he continued to fail, and so he refused to accept defeat.
After Abom VI, seeing the entire world turned to the service of daemons save for a paltry few, he was even more determined to do better. This process though, was difficult. For how would one define purity positively, as opposed to negatively? A list of things purity is not, is an easy task, but a list of things which it is? That was far more difficult. But perhaps that difficulty is a clue, only usable by one so driven as he?
Would Purity not apply to each individual thing separately? A Pure flame, or Pure water would be entirely different things. Though, perhaps it could be designed to apply to each thing in an area around it? A kind of purity field perhaps? Something that helps keep things as they are meant to be in reality. Free of corruption, disease, taint, and the like.
But what would such a thing look like? How would one capture that idea, and put it into a form that resonates with the warp? Water is often a pure thing, but on the other hand fire purifies. Salt keeps food fresh for longer, and is often considered pure because of it. On the other hand, the same could be said of diamonds and they were the stronger object, perhaps they would be a better focus? But then, the elements themselves are pure as well. Surely there are far too many different aspects of purity to truly embody them all.
But then, did he have to? Could he instead create a Rune that hinted at a wide variety of concepts and form that variety into the singular concept of Purity? How to condense it though? Make it work together to create a symbol sufficiently connected to the idea of purity for the Rune to properly channel the warp and enforce that idea on whatever it was added to, or near. Adding different ideas seems like a recipe for diluting the meaning, unless they could be used to reinforce each other instead? But how would that be done? Could it even be done?
This rune was so much more complicated to design than any before it. A rune of fire was a simple image of the flames and its waves of heat. Nothing too complex required... but wait... This would be a rune of a completely different kind of concept. Something far more esoteric than mere fire. If no single word or image truly captured the concept of purity, perhaps a mix of them was necessary! But how to go about it? Could each facet of the rune be shaped to create a specific image? Maybe made out of the words involved?
It'd be incredibly difficult to shape something along these lines, but if its designed in the correct way... yes, fire from one angle, water from another, crystals from another angle, but what else? Snow! Ha of course, that'd be a great connector between the water and the crystal... Then maybe the crystal and the fire edged together would then turn to the water side? Haha! Yes of course! Each facet of the Rune would smoothly turn into another from the connections of the previous. Leading all of them to enforce the concept of the Rune as a whole.
Now each individual facet of the rune, must shift smoothly into another, how to go about it? Ah, yes! The edges of one facet could be used to create the planes of another! Keeping the entire Rune self-contained, and morphing from one aspect of purity to another! The complexity of such a thing will no doubt require additional space, the rune-work would have to be done with variable depth to ensure free flow between the ideas. Each facet of the Rune would have to be made up of words used to describe that facet in its purest state.
Yes, he could work with this! Alright now how best to describe the purifying flame? Warmth, energy, sanitize, cauterize, disinfect. A start, now for water? Clear, life-sustaining, cleansing, flowing, self-contained. Alright for Crystal? Homogeneous, durable, dependable, resistant, bonding. Then for Snow? Clean, driven, white, cold, free. There 10 concepts per facet. 4 Facets making up 1 rune.
This should work. Now, to test how to properly write out the concepts to from the facet, then to form the facets from each other. He knew he was on the right track, no other way of properly showing purity really made sense to him. But to create such a free flowing design, moving easily from one facet to the next, clearly showing the intended idea? All made from something denoting those facets? Truly a task worthy of a Primarch, but one he would not fail.
AN: Doing things a little bit differently here. The idea for the rune is a kind of pyramidal structure, but with each side made into a shape that corresponds to each idea, made up of the concepts involved. So, a multidimensional version of something along these lines. I have no idea what the end result would look like, or how to do it. But I'm not a Primarch.
It could really be anyone who's available. Remember if Chaos has pover to corrupt Kesar forcibly by wounding him it can do the same with other Primarchs.
A Glimpse of Future: Eastern Continent Part Four
Vaishali is a city of delicate nature. Its intricate openwork of rainbow-colored Adamant and Ithilmar floats 300 feet over the Blackwater River in the Flowing Grasp Province, too all appearances fragility made inhabitable. Hundreds of curving latticework walkways connect towers and open plazas of similar designs, and redwood needles and bark of steel and glass prevail over décor less imitative of life. Tall redwoods grow from the crowded banks of the river through the gaps in Vaishali's construction, and their branches cast pleasant shade over much of the city. The trees and arabesque each complement the beauty of the other, and the city's geomancy make sure that no growth damages the city's structure or aesthetics. Other redwoods, engineered for stair-like growth of branches, provide access to either bank of the Blackwater.
Vaishali is a study in balance, and Eastern savants interested in the study, contemplation or appreciation thereof keeping at least one home in the city. The mechanism that floats the city draws power from the river that runs above it. Vaishali is best known for the Vine Blossom Academy, which trains horticulturists and landscapers working to integrate plants with human habitation. Each graduate breeds one new plant-tool or designs an original nature integrated town as a final project, which serves as his first financial venture. Fruit of the Vine, as they are called, are in high demand across Valhalla, especially in arid regions of the North or South.
Travelers to the Northeast see a golden-brown aura radiating through the trees for 23 miles before they reach the city of Amber Samiaren, as tourists and advertisers call it. Natives call it "the glow of home." Twenty-two miles from the city limits, at 16 evenly spaced radial waypoints, mansions provide gratis hospitality to travelers. Like the city itself, they are constructs of wood-hard amber exuded by central pine trees. That the trees produce amber to keep the mansions in good repair and arcane devices turn amber into sustainable food and pinesap into a sweet wine is miracle enough, but the city proper is more miraculous still. Thousands of pine trees operate under similar design to create a five-layered city a dozen miles in diameter, all of golden-brown amber. Bridges connect the broad plazas, manses, small villas, temples, and government buildings, while amber stairs and elevators connect the adjacent layers.
Devices implanted in the pine trees turn sap into copious fresh water, which cascades from the pine forest's highest points downward through suspended canals and fountains until it spills from the last layer into a river it creates below the city. Several of these devices produce hot springs, which provide bathing water and a source of free heating for everyone in Amber Samiaren. The hot and cool aqueducts join only before they pour to the ground so that even the impoverished survive the city's harsh winters.
Bharuch composed by Orichalcum and mithral. By law, all construction and public structures must be of Orichalcum until they surpass 800 feet in height. From that height upward, mithral is the only legal material. What began as a dictatorial incentive to develop improved techniques with the materials became a regulation of style and the city's signature. Since no stricture governs mithral color, every conceivable hue tops at least one building, but those grey-blues that best complement the Orichalcum dominate.
Bharuch serves as a depot for trade between the Water Root Triumvirate and the rest of the Flowing Grasp Province to the north and east. Enchantments on the hundred surrounding miles make the forest more navigable and passable. Its tourism board says even a lost infant could safely make its way home. Resorts dot this region of tamed forest, and the 10 Wanders far lodges sit just on the circle's edge. They serve as outposts for travelers and as deluxe hunting resorts for those who brave the untamed wilderness outside the 100-mile radius.
The Silver Weir dam is considered a wonder of the Valhalla. It remains beneath Silver Tarn, where the many rivers of Flowing Grasp become one, at the point where the great lake thins into the Silver River that runs south and west to the River of Tears. It also rests just north of the Triumvirate's southern border at that point. Should someone activate the Silver Weir, it would appear as thousands of foot-diameter black-and-white disks joined at the edges rising from turbulent waters. It covers the breadth of the Silver River and 1000 miles to either side as well, slightly concave. Light distorts around the disks before solid glass encases them for their entire length: the weir embodies the concept of imperviousness, making it unbreakable as long as it is active (which is until deactivated, since it's powered by a dedicated five-dot manse). Its sole flaw is that the source of its impermeability grows brittle for the duration.
Root Massif Prefecture is the gateway from the Labyrinth of Soothing Shadows Province to the rest of the East, but Crags of the Earth and Sky is the lynchpin of the province's prefectures. Central location, expert governance, and necessary sky travel make it the logical stop for transporting goods, travel and educated discourse.
Crags of the Earth and Sky is a prefecture of dangerous mountains and cliffs, all of earth that is thick with the roots of bent or shattered giant trees. Much of the land that people, animals, and vehicles tread is dozens of fallen forest giants, covered with moss and crushed into solid ground by the weight of trees still standing. Actual earth lies more than 100 yards beneath the foot traffic in many places and remains one foot of soil amidst a dozen foot-thick roots. Even safe paths through the dense forest rapidly ascend and descend mountains of dead trees and mile-tall root tangles, and switchbacks are a way of life for people not blessed with air travel. Conventional crops fare poorly in the prefecture, so the government imports many tons of rice and wheat each year. Certain exotic berries, nuts, and edible pine cones flourish, however. They grow under conditions difficult to reproduce, but they represent a major supplement to imports and are common at every table's daily meals. Within the mountains of dead trees and roots, rare fungi and light-aversive vines provide a living for anyone brave enough to seek them.

As Kesar waited for the meeting with his father and those he had invited, he spent the time performing research. Gene Seed was a horribly complex biological device, and the study of how it worked in the warp was extraordinarily time consuming. The resonance between gene seed and the warp had taken months to determine. He had to work closely with the Biologis, who constantly cross referenced his theories. The information they gathered allowed him to further refine his theories until finally, he understood how it functioned in the warp. It seems that all it did was create some form of artificial evolution. Effectively, the soul of the individual would gradually adjust itself to fit in an enhanced body. During this process, it would change until it resonanated with their normal body. This created a stronger soul, which increased mental faculties and resistance to the warp. In fact, this was likely the difference between Astartes and the Thunder Warriors. The latter simply had the physical modifications, so their soul and body were not stable with each other, leading to rampant warp mutation at times. Now however, Kesar's knowledge of gene seed allowed for a small, but significant increase to his recruitment rate.
*Recruitment rate increased to 13,000*
Following this, Kesar looked into how Gellar Fields interacted with warp engines. After all, with the continuous changes in how the propulsion occurred, there should be some change in the Gellar Field since it depended highly on gravity. Yet, there was no discernable change. For weeks, Kesar worked on this topic, before he had a breakthrough. The warp had layers. Well, technically the warp had several dimensions beyond the normal three-dimensional materium. However, the Gellar Field and the warp engines operated at different dimensional frequencies, which meant they did not interfere with each other. As such, there was effectively no interaction. The only real issue was that every time the warp engines shifted to using electromagnetic forces, the Gellar Field produced some slight differences, but this was research for another time.
Sadly, Kesar was again unable to make progress on the Purity rune. From what he could see, the rune was simply so complex during the initial foundation stage, that he would need to meticulously etch every detail for months. With a microscopic mistake breaking the rune, it would take an extremely long time before Kesar managed to create one, but hopefully he would have a breakthrough soon.
With his research done, Kesar sat down and reviewed reports from his Legion. This year, he had sent Wardens to Valhalla to begin training the local PDF. Sadly, not much occurred, since the Wardens were new to training troops. As such, they spent most of the year creating an organized bureaucracy to deal with this. However, next year training should begin.
Additionally, Kesar also spent time designing education facilities. He found a great deal of inspiration from a few unexpected sources. The first was from the existing Valhallan school system, which while very impersonal, was effective. After modifying it to make it more applicable to a variety of worlds, Kesar was pleased. The concept was divided into several levels. The first was a set of basic education facilities to just learn the basics of the galaxy that was safe to learn. Specifically, knowledge of basic math and proper respect for machine spirits. This would likely help the MEchanicus as they would have a better pool of recruits, which would increase production. However, school systems were expensive to set up.
The next category involved a second education tier where only the best were brought. These universities would conduct simple research and likely assist with research in a particular area. Of course, this would not be as effective as a Primarch, but it would be useful nevertheless. However, it would be expensive.
The final category would be a crowning achievement. A facility where only the best in the galaxy were brought. It would revolutionize research, but it would be nightmarishly expensive. However, it would make most research take far less time.

After reviewing his notes, Kesar decided to visit his brother Perturabo. The Iron Lord has proved necessary on Aam, and his arrival saved thousands of his sons. It was only fitting that he be thanked for his efforts. When Kesar arrived, Perturabo was deep in paperwork, before the Iron Lord noticed his arrival. When he noticed, Perturabo stood up, his face his usual emotionless mask.
The two brothers shook hands, but Kesar was unsure if this got across how much of a favor Perturabo had done for him. The defenses for Valhalla would undoubtedly prove useful in the future, and the Iron Lord's intervention on Aam III was the only reason he would not have to pour more resources to tame the world. As such, in the millisecond he took to process this, the XIth Primarch made a decision.
To this effect, Kesar wrapped an arm around Perturabo and patted his back. Kesar then ended the hug and spoke. "Thank you, Brother. Your assistance at Aam was greatly appreciated." As he said this, he noticed that the Iron Lords eyes crinkled slightly, but this could have been for any number of reasons.
Noticing that his Brother seemed to be waiting for him to continue, Kesar did so. "I would also like to thank you for the designs for the Valhallan defensive grid. I've implemented stage 1 and will implement stage 2 when I can spare the industrial capacity."
At this, the Iron Lord regained shuffled his foot for a moment, a gesture not seen on Perturabo since his emotional mask is nearly always on, then he spoke. "While I understand your appreciation, could you avoid future physical contact." At Kesar's nod, the Iron Lord changed the topic. "I assume that you are meeting with the Emperor after this?"
"I am indeed. While I do want our brother to be brought to justice, there is still hope for him." As Kesar said this, he noticed that Perturabo had slightly moved his eyes. "Brother? Is there something incorrect in what I said?"
"I apologize brother, but the Emperor will explain. I don't want to provide incorrect statements." At this, Kesar began to think of what occurred. From what he knew, Lorgar had suddenly betrayed the Imperium, or at least planned to. He tried to turn Angron against Kesar himself but had failed. When his actions were discovered, he fled to the Eye of Terror. Why there? The only thing there were daemons…
At this, Kesar's thoughts ground to a halt. His brother Lorgar was Lost. That was the only explanation. The sudden meeting between himself, Alpharius, Konrad, Lion and Leman suddenly made more sense. This entire time, he wondered why it was these Legions that were called instead of more generalized Legions such as the Luna Wolves. However, if he considered fighting a Lost Primarch, it was perfect. Lion was a brilliant tactician, Leman was immensely loyal, Alpharius and Konrad were masters of asymmetrical warfare, and the Eternal Wardens were unrivaled in slaying daemons. How would he deal with his Lost brother? Should he try rescuing him? Killing him? He didn't know.
As he stood in thought, Perturabo was oblivious to Kesar's thought process. From his perspective, most people needed time to process information. It was clear his brother was simply mulling through his options. It would be counterproductive to interrupt. However, from what he knew of social interactions, he thought he knew the optimal response. Physical stimulus combined with a few words of advice on slaying his brother should work. After all, it was unlikely Kesar actually cared about Lorgar.
As Kesar was torn on how to proceed, he felt the Iron Lord grasp his shoulder. "Brother, you brother is dead. Avenge them." Perturabo was pleased at his social maneuver. Lorgar was now dead to all of them as he had turned traitor. As such, it was necessary for Kesar to avenge the rest of his brothers. Kesar however, had a different interpretation. From his perspective, he thought back to the memorial he made of the IInd Primarch. The daemons would not claim another one of his brothers. For now, he would reserve judgement of Lorgar until his brother stood before him in chains.
"Thank you Perturabo." As he said this, Kesar patted Perturabo on the shoulder before leaving. As he left, the Iron Lord called after him.
"This was a productive discussion, please visit again." When Kesar responded positively, Perturabo was rather pleased that his skills were being utilized. He hoped that this would continue, but for now, he needed to complete the task assigned to him by the Emperor.
Meanwhile, Kesar travelled to the Imperial Palace as his father had requested. By now, Kesar was sure of what the meeting would discuss, but there was almost certainly information he did not have at the moment. His dealings with Alpharius always proved that. As he thought of the elusive Primarch, he paused. Something was off. When he turned towards his left, he noticed a small change in the environment. A few pebbles were moved slightly. If he was not a Primarch, he wouldn't have noticed this, scanning the area for movement, he searched. Finally, he noticed movement on the road. Turning fully, he noticed Alpharius who somehow did not notice that Kesar had spotted him.
At this, Kesar grinned before speaking. "Brother, I am glad that you decided to meet me early." At this, Alpharius turned on the spot, clearly surprised before he responded.
"Kesar, I. I didn't expect you to see me." The Primarch of the Alpha Legion stood up to his full height and rubbed the back of his head.
"If you would like, I can just turn around and come back in a minute." Kesar was enjoying this. Alpharius was rather flustered, but he managed to retain his emotional mask.
"Now Kesar, how do you do that?" Alpharius cocked his head and had managed to regain his dignity.
Kesar simply smirked and walked forward. "Whatever do you mean Alpharius?"
As Alpharius just sighed, Kesar continued onwards. "I'll just wait here. I can sneak past Konrad and yet my entire Legion can't sneak past you." When he heard this, Kesar just laughed and move on forwards.
Meanwhile, Alpharius just smiled and spoke. "You never cease to amaze." Then, the elusive Primarch walked past Leman Russ and Lion into the room where Malcador and the Emperor met.
In the room, the Emperor of Man, Malcador the Sigillite, Konrad Curze the Night Haunter, Alpharius the Hydra, Leman Russ the executioner, the Lion, and Kesar Dorlin Daemonsbane had so the Emperor could reveal something of importance. When the Primarchs arrived, their honor guards were dismissed before the Emperor spoke. "MY SONS, YOU HAVE ALREADY HEARD OF LORGAR'S BETRAYAL. I AM AFRAID THAT THERE IS MORE TO IT THAN YOU THINK." Alpharius already knew what was coming, but he remained attentive. "YOU ALL KNOW OF THE WARP XENOS AND THE GREATER DAEMONS. HOWEVER, THERE IS ANOTHER GROUP ABOVE THEM, A SET OF 4 ARCHDAEMONS THAT FEED OFF OF WORSHIP. THEY HAVE SET THEIR SIGHTS ON MANKIND AND HAVE TAKEN YOU BROTHER FROM US."
At this, Leman snarled. "Father, I will bring him before you. Just give the order."
Surprisingly, the normally quiet Lion also spoke up, "That changes nothing. I demand he be punished for the deaths in my Legion and the Salamanders."
During this, Kesar kept silent, and wondered how exactly he should feel about this, but for now, he felt
[x] Betrayed
Our brother has fallen, even before then he forsook his oaths.
[x] Sad
But despite that he was still our brother. That and this feels more in character for us.
