I will say that they do this. It's just that they can brag and gloat to Malcador about it since he always asks them what they did. He then proceeds to explain what they did wrong, but they still get to brag a lot. I will say though that the Alpha Legion is very different since they have spent a lot of time with Malcador, so they are heavily influenced by his ideas.
Huh, good stuff. I'm guessing that their interactions with the Eternal Wardens/Kesar have led to them being extra wary of warp xenos/Chaos? Actually... didn't they ask Malcador about something to that effect awhile back?

Yes actually, in the Malcador interlude they asked him about Tzeentch in the invisitext. Now, they have been spending pretty much all their effort destroying Tzeentch's plans since they have done so well. So far, they have done some impressive things that literally gave Tzeentch PTSD and maluses on rolls against the Alpha Legion.

Right, just found it before you posted. Its good stuff, though I'm kinda sad they haven't felt it prudent to tell us about it. Though I suppose if they keep wrecking Tzeentch it won't matter too much. Still though, would certainly help to be aware that such a thing exists.

They did want to, but Emps and Malcador convinced them not to.

Meanwhile, I'm going to sleep now. I'll update when I wake up.

Ok, so Lorgar's fall to Chaos has been accelerated. Going into the Eye of Terror as he is now is pretty much a guarantee that he'll fall completely. He doesn't have the needed protection from corruption that he could possibly succeed at resisting it.

Also it's funny that Lorgar failed to convince Angron of anything. Probably because he went with the wrong tact - Angron rather hates the Emperor, so trying to convince him "Kesar is dangerous because his planet's religion doesn't accept the Emperor is a god" is a rather unlikely method. Horus managed to convince Angron to join him in canon by telling Angron what he wanted to hear - that the Emperor was weak and honorless, that he would have a place in the new order, and that he could get revenge against the brothers that criticized him.

Meanwhile, yandere Konrad tried to off Erebus but the jerk got away unfortunately. Still, seems Konrad got a vision to tell him what he needs to do for once. Perhaps Konrad will get a handle on his Divinatory abilities and get less crazy if he can actually use them to avoid the bad outcomes instead of them just being depressing visions he can't do anything about. It'll be interesting to see what exactly Konrad tries to do.

Hopefully, Erebus would succeed in convincing the Night Haunter of the dangers Kesar Dorlin possessed. However, even if the First Chaplain failed, how bad could it truly get?

Konrad: "I know just what to do!"

Alright, so I'm writing the update, and the rolls continue to amaze. It seems the Alpha Legion can never roll well against Kesar. Ever.

Alpha Legion Cover Up: 13
Alpha Legion Hides Evidence of Cover Up: 12
Kesar's Detection: 87

Edit:

This needs to involve Kesar having set up a harmless pitfall trap with a very shoddily camouflaged cover 'hiding it', and an Alpha Legionary getting caught in it anyways.

Meanwhile we can get to him by agreeing Emps is a dick (just look at the job he gave us), but isn't spiting him a much better way of dealing with him than trying to chop his head off?

Although I just fear we'll nat 100 Angron's affection and nat 1 the nail's reaction due to Khorne wanting us to kiss fight!

Angron: "I LOVE YOU BROTHER, BUT THE NAILS SEEM TO REALLY HATE YOU, SO WHEN WE TALK I MUST OUT MY FRUSTRATIONS ON SOMETHING LIKE THIS WALL HERE!"

Yandere Angron?

About the daot station have the others started working on it yet and have they made any progress in reverse engineering anything.

Dorn did something similair in his novel, explaining to Alpharius how the Alpha Legion could been more efficient in their tactics and how his Imperial Fists would've handled it better with much less cost of collateral life, which made it personal to Alpharius to prove he and his Legion were better then Dorn(and as a result got chain-shiskebabed).

And thus we enter Roboutian Heresy timeline.

I'd say we should probably check out Leman or Mortarion, they're the ones who have the lowest opinion on us barring Lorgar.
Hmm, we do need to get Mortarion to like us a bit more... Hopefully our regular fights against warp entities will help with that. Leman I think will change his opinion as we continue to improve our martial might. So, that's not something I'm terribly concerned by just yet.
I think Mortarion might end up liking us more. It's no secret that we're friends with Magnus and Mortarion was, albeit with reluctance, willing to ask for his help against a Xenos threat. They then parted without incident, which seems like pretty important deviation from his canon character.

Unlike a certain corgi that insulted Magnus when he offered to help his sons in a brutal engagement

I am sorry to hear that and hope things turn out better. Don't worry about it mate just do something fun this weekend and enjoy yourself.

O well, with new information about lorgar, I think we need to strengthen our religion. I think most of religion omakes are mine, so anybody wish to write some religion base omake then it is the best time to do so, Maybe some sort of missionary efforts outside valhalla?

So on the bro scale, how well does kesar compare to Vulkan, Sanguinius, RH!Konrad, and RH!Angron?
I'd put us somewhere between Vulkan and Konrad. We'll happily share our tech and knowledge with our brothers and the Imperium and be perfectly polite and courteous, but as we demonstrated with Lorgar, if our manners aren't reciprocated then we'll, albeit regretfully, verbally (and if need be physically) smack them down.

Come now, I'm sure Vulkan would appreciate the sight of a good roasting. Still, I have a feeling most of our brothers will like us sooner or later. Heck, if Horus likes us we might be made the unofficial second in command of the Crusade post-Ullanor when he becomes Warmaster
