"In the warp, a god smiled." Specifically after the Site 2 description. So, that's probably Khorne being happy with us.

[X] Write-In: Saturate the area with Heavy Bombardment twice over, then deploy Eternal Wardens with Kesar to manually sweep the area and ensure these Cultists are for sure dead.
[X] Sweep every inch (4 years minimum)

Because you never take chances when the Ruinous Powers are involved. The planet can be fixed and resettled with time, but we can allow no trace of Slaanesh's corruption to remain.

By this logic we should just exterminatus the planet and be done with it. Seriously, heavy bombardment is already going to cause bad ecological damage, and you want to do it twice over? The planet will he left worthless!

@Daemon Hunter calls the vote everyday generally, assuming there's a plan leading by a clear majority. Otherwise it's generally a couple of days at most or so.

Uh, we are respected by others. Now the respect is mostly neutral from a decent amount of our brothers and the Emperor, but it's still respect. I'm wondering if Daemon Hunter will be giving us an Emperor Interlude soon regarding Kesar, just because I really want one.
I mean the other Primarch do give us a neutral level of respect, but I'm hoping that because of this Kesar is elevated in the eyes of others. Kesar did achieve victory on a world so far gone others would call for an Exterminatus, not to mention the work with the rift. At the very least I hope Malcador is elated with the blow against chaos and the work of the Alpha Legion.

And thanks for the info, here's hoping for that interlude.

I don't recall that? Retcon, new information?

Canon had it they where some Eldar and some other aliens working to plot the downfall of Chaos via starvation of sorts, which lead to them dying off and galaxy kind of restarting. I could have sworn that was it.
It was their supposed "perfect precognition device." Chaos was able to alter the visions and turned the Cabal into the service of the very Powers it swore to destroy. I don't recall where, but I believe it was implied that some Cabal members are secretly Chaos worshippers, hiding it from the other members.

Can't argue with that. Also, Daemon Hunter did say our Astartes when facing Daemons are worth about 2-3 Astartes from other Legions. Rather important to note.

To be fair, technically the Planet warrants such measures due to the extreme Corruption of it and the fact it was verging on Daemonworld status. Until we develop a tool that can remove Chaos Corruption Extermintus/this bombardment level is about the best tool we have. That's in my own opinion.

We've gotta go through and check everything manually, otherwise we might miss something. And I don't intend to just glass the world when there are people still to be saved. We are someone who cares about the lives of normal humans, and there are people who have not been Lost on this planet. Lets make sure they survive, thrive, and hopefully spread their chaos resistance. This seems like it'll be a great recruiting world once we get it cleaned out, at least from among the children who resisted, and the children of those who did.

My issue is the statement at the end, just because a parent resisted does not mean a children is fully capable of that, now perhaps it's potential. But remember, not all children live up and equal, muchless surpass their parents.

So is the Doom Slayer a hero unit now or something? I mean he did just take out a Keeper of Secrets.

GM stated Doom failed his first chance to become a Hero, he'll get another one. Eventually... that poor sap. Really, such terrible luck.

Course not, but in 40k stuff like that seems to matter, or at least help. Its the narrative of it I suppose. Just seems like the kind of thing that would help.

I mean, it could be possible the the Doom Dice are waiting for an attack by Khorns greater demons for him to become a hero unit.

Way of Seeker
Way of Seeker
It is an occult truth, known to all who study the ways of Geomancy, that great lines of power crisscross throughout every Planet. These lines of power are often harnessed for mighty purposes. It is simply assumed that those with power eventually must seek out one of these sites. But those who study the mysteries of the ley lines discover something more. Certainly, there are lines of power that run across the land in a select few areas, but these are not the only lines — simply the most obvious. If these are thick, corded ropes of power, there are also tiny, web-thin threads that run between these great ley lines, connecting them in a vast net of pulsing, subtle power.

The Seeker is a Psyker who has discovered this fact and seeks to harness the power of these threads. A Seeker is aware that, every moment of every day, these threads permeate all things, passing through, around, above and below all things, carrying conceptual energies to all things in the world. With diligent study and practice, Seekers sense these powers. The sorcerous feats of which these men and women are capable are impressive. They are able to draw upon the skein of power to augment their Psychic Powers, tap into this web to maintain spells past their normal durations, to heal themselves, and to protect their allies from harm.

The pursuit of sorcery is a means to utilize Conceptual energy and direct it with one's own mental abilities. The seeker spends years learning to focus his thoughts and build his will in order to direct and shape conceptual energy. He also spends years learning how to let the ley line energy flow into and through him, building his tolerance for such energy and making the Seeker a sort of living relay station and energy transformer. At these moments, the Seeker becomes part of the energy he is directing and it gives him much greater control and range of Psychic abilities.

The Seeker's attunement to the raw conceptual energies of the world grants his/her certain abilities not available to other Psykers. Rather than Using Warp to boost her own powers, she may draw upon the power of the world to make the sacrifice of conceptual energies on her behalf. The Seeker is able to infuse the power of the ley lines into her spells. The Seeker may draw the power of the ley lines into herself, allowing them to knit her body closed. The Seeker is able to rapidly traverse the ley lines that connect every place in the world. The Seeker may snatch up the threads of ley line energy and affix them to herself or an ally within 30 feet, allowing conceptual energy to strike the threads and flow away.

Of all other types of Psykers, they are the ones who treat such knowledge as truly important — they steep their Sorcery in that deals with the world, rather than Sea of Souls. Indeed, they understand the secrets of these ley lines better than most, and recent the discovery of Runes awakened a new interest in this Subject.

Okay, in hindsight this might be better since it'll probably still purge them completely.

Malcador raised his hand momentarily, "let me stop you there. I had a similar discussion with Magnus the Red, who I feel is more qualified than you on this topic. I rejected him as well because, quite frankly, I am more experienced with such matters than both of you combined. As such, I am afraid that while I will look at your ideas, direct collaboration between us is impossible until you obtain further experience."
I say we get Malcador and the Mechanicus to handle it. Space Marines and Titans to clean up unorganized cultists is overkill. The Mechanicus likely have the necessary equipment to clean up cultists and Malcador has the resources and knowhow to clean up the corruption. Hell, Malcador will probably want to build a monument here. It also wouldn't hurt to have us recommend a proto-inquisition. We also need to increase our compliance rate. If Lorgar beats us this year it will detract from our victory.
