Here's my idea for this turn, adjusted a lot of times back in the Discord server. I know that there's a lot of things that just have 'ignore' under them, but frankly with all the threats the idea of dealing with them all is just not happening. That's including the fact that this idea is leaving Kesar Dorlin utterly alone to deal with one of the hardest threats.

Speaking of which, to offer some explanation, the reason why there's the idea of sending Kesar Dorlin alone is that this is a perfect opportunity to fulfil his tenth Daemonsbane Tier. Which must be done entirely alone.
Tier 10: Take Over a Daemon World
Also, the reason why Karandras is heading to the Squat world is because he's been there before and looted it (having helped steal a Sword of Vaul, a suit of armour made by Vaul, and an extremely powerful Pre-Fall Eldar sniper rifle). While that was arguably the best stuff, there's still (probably) other relics inside that are worth a lot. We know there's stuff from Pre-Fall Eldar technology designs, to living Pre-Fall Eldar, to a Skaven divine relic and such before, but the longer we wait (or if the Imperial Army just tries to solve this world quickly) those artefacts to bye-bye. Totally worth the one favour the Eldar will ask for sending the Phoenix Lord here.

Finally, Tixburi was a colossal threat that the Ultramarines (and a LOT of other factions) dealt with this turn. The Men of Clay are the perfect to help with rebuilding the world, and building relations with the natives due to also being descended from the Men of Clay if I recall right, and paying back the favour of Roboute sending us the super doomsday memetic weapon designs the planet had (which Kesar can use for a lot of stuff).

I strongly, strongly welcome any ideas as to what other adjustments could be made, who we could send where etc. etc. Linking what our Heroes need for stronger Daemonsbane abilities here to help with any ideas.

Also! @Daemon Hunter , three questions. Do we have 100k Eternal Wardens or 95k Eternal Wardens?

Is the above of 'alerting people that a god is gonna be born here' work for the Aztec cult?

Also, is this Eldar hero available for that infectious madness hotspot? Could definitely adjust how we deal with that threat, as this guy seems tailor-made for this.

I feel like sending Kesar fully alone even with the Mask is a bad idea. Just saying.

Given Kesar's traits, the only scenario in which Kesar won't be able to solo the Daemonworld is if an Exalted show up. Of the Chaos Gods, Khorne's Exalteds are too busy in the Blood and Thunder War to care about Kesar attacking a Slaaneshi Daemonworld, Nurgle's Exalteds are busy reinforcing the Gardens after Alpharius' and Eldrad's incursions, and Slaanesh's Exalteds are occupied with a minor civil war.

The only Exalted Daemons we should have to worry about are either Tzeentchian ones or Undivided ones. Even then, it is pretty unlikely that they will be able to actually harm Kesar given his Nat 100 v Nat 1 trait applies to every Exalted Daemon except for Skulltaker and any Exalteds with a trait negation trait.

So basically, unless Tzeentch for whatever reason sends like 2 or 3 Exalteds, the worst that will happen is Kesar is forced to retreat as otherwise every single Daemon below Exalted level gets instantly true killed by Kesar due to his Anathema trait.

While Kesar is capable of this, I will warn you that should a powerful Exalted show up, things may get complicated. If Be'lakor or Drach'nyen are in the area, Kesar makes for a very tempting target.

You have 100k Wardens this turn.

It's viable, while the Thousand Sons are a bit too busy to show up and help the Eldar aren't. That being said, they'll be handling it as they please if you do this.

Pagliacci is, but he's expensive due to having other commitments. He'd cost two favors to call in.

Y'all act like Chaos wouldn't let themselves be hurt by backing down on certain areas to work together just to kill Kesar in this perfect moment. Maybe Khorne wouldn't, but Tzeentch might behind the scenes have an easier dc to convince the other two to join up to fuck Kesar over.

Spite and hate are powerful things and the Chaos Gods hate us.

Well what are we supposed to do to try and locate their current positions then?

We have to solo a deamonworld eventually if we want to get better for a fight with Big E.

So it's a high risk, high reward situation.

You don't really have many options on trying to locate them beyond attempting a low chance divination. Or trying to pay Eldrad and seeing if he can manage it although even he says the odds are slightly against him.

This is one of those goals that'll always be a high risk fight regardless of what's attempted. Trying to take a daemonworld solo is a gargantuan task.

I figure this would warrant in a mini-arc for Kesar as well?

I disagree. It's risky, that's to be certain, but the the risks are more unlikely to be a problem to Kesar than you'd think.

As proven with the Desolation, the Chaos Gods do recognise that 'not getting involved' can actually be better for them. Even with what must be a feast of suffering, hatred, despair and a whole blend of other emotions (strong enough to cause new gods to be born/helped reborn), they're staying back because it causes further chaos (the regular kind) and weakens the Imperium. Kesar Dorlin being alive and being close to the rebel side (such as by actually seceding) is a massive, massive thorn to the Emperor. Or in other words: One Anathema is against the other Anathema.

In the Maelstrom Ritual War, when there were two Exalted of Nurgle already there in the fight and two more waiting to be unleashed (Ku'Gath and Qaramar) with an extremely angry Nurgle looking down at what was happening. Four Exalted that could have descended on Kesar Dorlin when he was fighting alone... decided that fighting Kesar alone was a terrible, horrifying idea and they preferred not dying to an Anathema.

Obviously it's more complicated than that, and such a team might well have managed to kill Kesar, but the point stands that most Exalted of Chaos, even in a group that could decimate almost anything in their way, would rather run away and fight each other before going against Kesar Dorlin.

It'll also take time for Exalted to reach him. Perhaps not much time, it depends, but time nonetheless. Of the Chaos Gods, only Khorne is known to have buttons related to 'send this specific Exalted to here immediately' and they're almost certain to care more about fighting their best war ever than join up for this. We might face the Undivided Exalted that's leading the Chaos Empire we got reports of for next turn... but if they die then, well, next turn is a lot easier.

Slaanesh, who is the 'patron' Chaos God of this world, also can't really do much to us unless they physically walk out of their Palace of Pleasure and tries to kill Kesar. They can use their Emergency Buttons to send a massive horde of Eldar ghosts and, while difficult, Kesar is almost a perfect hard counter for them? Could make them lose the 'Eldar domain' which would massively mess up the Chaos God too.

If Drach'nyen or Be'lakor are there, we're fucked. If not, whether we face Exalted or not, it's not really an issue as we'll gain strength either way. We'll either get Tier 10 Daemonsbane, conquer the Daemon World alone, or we'll either gain and/or make progress to true killing an Exalted while alone and killing an Exalted from each Chaos God, or we just run. It's not like we have the manpower to deal with everything anyways.

It's not impossible that, like, six 'regular' Exalted come over at once and Kesar has to run. But it's just... really unlikely? Yeah, the three Chaos Gods want Kesar dead. They also want to not lose the Great Game, and are very aware at how much Khorne and Gork and Mork is power levelling right now. And that the Emperor is still a thing and still against Kesar. Is it really worth losing the best of their best to maybe kill Kesar? Possibly! But it's no certainty.

With that said, to give Kesar a safety net, here's my slightly adjusted suggestion:

Basically the same as Tiny's plan but with the 10k safety net redistributed among the other compliances to shore up those fronts. The 10k Wardens basically will only be useful as a suicide force if the absolute worst case scenario happens. And even if an Exalted Daemon does show up, Kesar can just retreat with minimal fanfare, he's not in any real risk unless Be'lakor or Drach are in the area.

Kesar does have the Rune of Anathema and Chaos which give him instant awareness of the plans of Chaos Daemons in a planetary radius and narrative insight into Chaos which means it is exceedingly unlikely that Chaos can even catch Kesar off guard here if they tried.

There just isn't very much we gain for Kesar with the 10k Wardens outside of the very niche scenario where Kesar does somehow have problems and in most cases they'll just be sitting their twiddling their thumbs while Kesar wins.

Just to be clear, nothing can stop Kesar outside of outright Exalted intervention, and if Kesar is going solo with the Harlequin mask, they may not even realize Kesar is there as Chaos will only see a Gamma psyker nearby, and it's entirely possible that Chaos actually assumes it's Auro scouting out the area which would be hilarious as his Black Covenant charges in and just gets insta killed by Kesar's traits.

[X] Plan: Let Me Solo Her.

Hopefully everything goes well.

Definitely looking forward to reading about hordes of demons attacking and just getting melted because of what they think is some random guy. Hope the various writers have a lot of fun with it.
