I mean honestly the telepathica of the trust is a better tool for purging the nest than any big ticket players.
Not really since purging is really Ridicully divining for spies and cultists. We don't have anywhere near enough people to go over dragon's nest and the time and actions it would take will take away from research, rune implementing, and building psyker infrastructure.

No we've got plenty of other ways of delaing with infiltrators.

Rids is basically a nuke, but we have a lot of other options and he's already invested actions into dealing with the worst and most hidden of the infiltrators.

Still not clean and would require Ridicully actually diving to get all of them. We are talking about a 118 worlds that need to be checked and cleaned. The eldar can do it in a expedite manner that allows us to build up and not worry about tech theft so much. These is a restive time of peace we have and we need to take advantage of it while we can.

List of things to discuss at meeting

1 Dragon nest merger. ( can use Am/em supply to bribe them andRidicully divining their curses)

2 Admech civil war ( might not want to bring these up ask Scott what she wants to do)

3 colonized cleansed worlds ( Avernites would be best or Nilfhiems)

4 using mino eldar favors for spy cleaning and permeant boost for Ridicully. Maybe see about bringin rest of Lancre fleet since they would help with research and still have a chance to die in the next 19 years.

5 invasions of local chaos polity??? I don't think we should since all the stuff above

anything else we need?
I've got one other thing I'd like to see brought up, but we may not have the time.

We've got a potentially-colonizable ice world in the Avernus system, Avernus IV, also known as Het, and I've been interested in getting some Niflhiemers out here to colonize it for quite some time now.

The advantages are that it helps us figure out what exactly is going on with the Niflheimers, gets us another source of AM-producing population in the system, moves us a step further towards fully exploiting the system, and creates a nearby population of Niflhiem blanks, which we/Avernus can easily act to preserve from galactic threats and draw from for their blankness,
also the population/environment would be great for mass-producing blank bear riders, which is something I'd love to see at some point. Also, useful against rogue psykers on a Trust-wide scale.

So if we talk with Niflhiem about colonization, maybe we can slip in a mention of the target in our system for their consideration.

Does the PM have the reach to access them in another planter? I legitimately do not know if it is capable/willing.

Even if not, one of the primary threats that we couldn't properly face is some Chaos group mounting a massive crusade because we become too notorious.
In that case, having the Niflehiemers in the system with us potentially allows us to transfer Avernite soldiers and xenos to help preserve them as a genotype, and the planetmind will probably intervene if someone tries to blow up a planet in the system.

Also, in my blank Bear fantasies I imagine that once we have multiple recruiting worlds set up to churn them out, we might look into PDF blank bears based in polar cities on many worlds. One of the few uses of Avernite-derived bio weapons that can be deployed indiscriminately without us fearing what happens if Chaos gets their hands on them.

Does anyone know how long it would be until researching the Tau Ether drive is possible, assuming current trends continue? A century? Two? It would lead to a huge explosion of civilian warp travel, resulting in a big economic boost thanks to increased trade.

Assuming Tranth was able to do some Fundamentals research on warp travel as well, that could also lead to increased speed and safety for both our military and civilian spaceships as well.

If we're capable of setting up an offworld Blank Bear breeding population then it'll be our duty to export them to our allies post fucking haste.

do we even have an ether drive to study?

We're swimming in favours.

With this Arhra mess growing into a full Tzeentchian Conspiracy, what do you guys say to us sinking around a Major Favour to get the Eldar to dedicate some Seer Councils to work with Ridcully to hunt him down? I realize they're preoccupied with the Ritual prevention, it's just that I think it's worth it to focus on ganking Arhra with the Phoenix Lords rather than preventing the Ritual. Higher chances of actual success alone makes it worthwhile IMO.

Word of durin is if we ask for a seer council to hunt ahra they will provide it free of charge.
That's great news. We should see if that could lead to a more permanent arrangement with the favours we don't spend then. Have the Eldar Farseers give our Divination Order some tips and tricks.
Im not a fan of using eldar to clean up dragons nest.

that sounds like a mjor political hot potato.
How so? We've already done major joint actions with the Eldar, and they've saved the Trust multiple times at this point. Plus it's Chaos.

Because its aliens killing high ranking members of a newly allied society who does not have nearly as much trust in the eldar as we do, and its all on the aliens word that they were chaos agents.

need i remind you of the massive amount of xenophobia humans have?

It's not really aliens killing them as it is aliens telling the space marines where they are and the space marines killing them.

But you understand that they are xenos helping kill chaos . Chaos agents that are preventing them from upgrading there defenses and industry.
I do. Do you understand that you are asking them to trust that the aliens are correct with minimal verification.

especially when we have the capability to do it ourselves and the trust for it to not be an issue.

If they were in our polity for a hundred years before this, maybe it could work. But they are merely allies. They do not have the experience we have with the eldar. They do not have the trust in the eldar we have.

you are asking a soverign polity to let another polity that the vast majority of their population fears and hates dictate which people in their polity have to die based on evil magic powers.

this implies that humans are logical at all times.

really the only path that I see not becoming a political hot potato is if we have a joint task force of eldars and humans with humans doing all the talking do the investigation into dragons nest
