This is off topic, but how much more of the black crystal jewelry do we need? I know we have the chest plate and we haven't examined it, but what else do we need before we complete the set?

Also, has Durin said whether or not it was possible to send out heroes to collect the parts for us or do we have to actually move in to the area in order to collect it?
Sigh.

For the 10,000th time we have examined it, it enhances durability of the wearer and everything they're wearing.

There are 11 pieces total we have not investigated the bracers.

And no we cannot send people out looking for them.

We have 3 pieces, one which was picked up during the Angyl invasion recently from one of the dead dragons. We need 4 more.
No, we have

Sword
Crown
Necklace
Ring
Bracers
Chestplate

The remaining pieces are
Gun
Another ring
And the other parts of a coventional suit of armour.

Whoops, my bad.

We have to colonize a region first than the black crystal artifact will appear. We should start settling the north during the time skip. We probably will not finish but we could go north settle a few hives than either build 2-3 hives and a railroad. Also we could get to meet the penguin overlords and the blank bears.

Not even necessarily that, they seem to turn up when they're interested in turning up, not linked to colonisation.

The likely reason that several were within our initial regions is because they were in possession of humans in the aformentioned before they were wiped out.

Not neccessarily true, two latest pieces of BCR (chesplate and bracers) turned up in the two new regions we colonized, even if the bracers ended up Dis due to daemin invasion.
Hence why I said several pieces were in our initial regions not all.

Others have likely migrated away away.

Alternatively the world saw that humies were back so decided to send a few in our direction to see if we'd give it Vlad 2.0

@Durin, would a wildlife omake about phoenixes be allowed or is it not allowed because they're tied to Asuryan?

@Durin:
1) what would it take to convince the Eldar, Ashes or Exodite, to create a colony on Avernus?
2) would the Empire of Ashes be interested in creating a training facility of sorts on Avernus?

The planet would not allow it. It does not take finished products which the Eldar are. And they wouldn't get anything from the planet to begin with all the psyker arts from the world already exists in their own arts.

Eldar are welcome as are Orks. But the Eldar can't afford a colony on Avernus, streched as they are. Any psychic knowledge they can either ask from us or send an expedition to commune with planet.

They'd also find any sapient locals rather unwelcoming.

Pretty much everyone throws them shade for the whole 4th chaos god, which we avoid to an extent due to being effectively infants in their view.

The planet already made it clear (Durin) the Eldar are a finished creation and nothing else can be done on the world. The orks are a incomplete and malfunctioning creation without the Krorks to control and command them. And no nothing we get or the planet makes in terms of psychic arts and powers will be useful to the Eldar. It was also established that they have the stuff already except using their own system.

Well Durin did say that there were numerous improvements they could gain but all either taking far longer than they have time to research or being things the Eldar would decidedly not want to learn.

I think is a matter of what the planet and what they can gain. I mean if those aliens that look like monkey that the Krorks have got here the planet would probably be happy. I mean it would allow lots of lasers to its creatures. The eldar are still having a low grown and having a ridiculous amount of problems. If they could not stay then the group that protect the seer would not be here.

what would happen if Tormod and Rotbart both died without issue?
Then one of the advisors takes over. But we want to keep our line as the player character which is why we pushed for it so hard. Not because eugenics but because we liked the idea of our family being the competent leadership of the most dangerous world in the Galaxy.

They would gain nothing of value. At best the planet ignores them at worst it tries to destrory them since finished products will interfere with the work being done on the other races. The would never be considered people by the planet only visitors.

Actually durin has repeatedly confirmed that the world would love to reaquire Joakaro's because they could easily make the planet significantly more dangerous.

I was talking about the Eldar and the Krorks. The Cyber monkeys would make the planet a even greater hellhole. On the other hand it likely would make it easier for us to make versions of the technology by studying the new wildlife so good and bad.

My point is that saying complete species so no isn't a great argument we don't know if the PM would allow Krork or Eldar permanent settlement, it could really want them so it can either improve them or bring them in for maintenance (the whole potentially a curse thing for the Eldar for example) but due to in built controls cannot.

We don't know and even if they tried the Eldar would likely get run off world anyway by the Lizard men sirens or just about everyone else and the Krork would swiftly end in all the Orks.

I meant to bring these up days ago but on discord Durin answered a question about Tormod. Apparently if he goes on a quest with enough narrative weight he will either die or come back a paragon loosing his traits that will kill him. Which with the way things look and well statistics Tormod should be dead. Also it is effecting his life since people think of the planet keeps trying to kill you, you are a agent of chaos. So anyone got ideas on a quest we could send him on?

Perhaps we could send him on a quest to the hidden continent? That seems like something that would be fitting for the anime protagonist he is sure to become.
