Still think you should drop the spend time with the Eldar and go with Syr or Tormod. Like we said the Eldar gets us nothing and he is not even going to be around for long.

ok, so I think I have this figured out from the last few times durin did this. the black imperium task force shows up, and gets into a massive brawl with the orks. during this Tormod to somehow touches off a short-lived warp storm that destroyed them, but sends him into a fantasy world, that takes him several years to return from. but when he does he bears the ultimate chin scratching technique, allowing him to lure He Who Walks obliquely permanently into his services.

this is 100% what's going to happen.

So the Jacob Approach to Life, then?

So bad news on average Tormod dies in 25 years because of his luck. So here is hoping he gets a lot of traits so he does not die.

It did have the niceness to coordinate with Durin's IRL dice so Jane could kill one of them for a shot at Transcend tho.
I didn't realize that Jane had already had a Transcendance roll, doesn't that mean she gets +5 on her next one?

He has a death curse now or something? If he's like Lin and needs Transcendant to live then there's basically no point in bothering because he's way too low to get there in 25 years. Other than that I don't get what you could mean.

He only has 5x increased chance of encounters, so 125 years worth of encounters in that period and we have tons of people older than that. I don't get why he would die that quick.

From discord I think Durin rolled a test to see how long he would live without trait upgrades

@Durin, you know how Ridcully sent visions to Amir'ka's seers warning them about the incoming tyranids? Can he do the same for the orks, sending their weirdboyz visions of the big fight about to come in the form of Abaddon's task force? Seems like it'd be a good way to cancel out both of those problems.
