I think we can at least save Thakomumcos. They're isolated enough and so hard to penetrate that they would've found and killed any infiltrators into the polity. It should be fairly safe security-wise to bring them into the Imperial Trust, and the large amount of tech priests would mean the Imperial Trust would get a big influx in production.

they are also not in the danger zone

Inquisitor Klovis-Ultan was able to convince the Euryale Trader Lamia to help you make contact with some of the other Avernite peoples that she knows of. She tells you that she is in contact with two of the other Siren Queendoms and with both of the Lizardman Empires on the southern continent, and will be able to introduce you to envoys from both of them.
Well well well. Those Lizardman are promising indeed, but those Siren Queendoms? Me thinks that auctioning Tau tech might be on the menu.

I don't want to be hard men making hard decisions I want to help the people.
...my advice is not to follow Warhammer quests then.

Special Impalers?

Of all the tech actions... Special Impalers?
It was 3 years, the majority of Trusts armies use Impalers, and it would be a waste of the Impaler Fundamentals we did to not take this.

Also, the major human powers use them extensively too, this will benefit them significantly come next Conclave.

@Durin
1. Do we think we could convince the affected worlds to send some people to us (I dunno what a reasonable number would be) to try and preserve some of their culture/ensure that they're not all eaten by giant bug monsters.
2. Does Areatha know if her teacher from the Lizardmen is still alive?

1. You could convince so e of the worlds but not all
2. She does not, she has not been that way for a few centuries

There's 20.

Their world and 19 human ones.

And step on who them or the nids.
...That's why I said targeted in the first wave. The Boessaewth are targeted in the first wave, the human polities in 5th (post Amirka) 15 years later. We can't stick around for long to protect them, no, but we can mount an expeditionary force composed of us and the Dragon's nest and supported by the mobile shipyards that Muspelheim made for just such a purpose.

My apologies, I didn't realise we knew they were in the first wave.

If we are certain of that then I must insist we get involved, with their three worlds they'd contribute +1.5% new biomass with them alone.

We may have to force them to come with us, but I'd rather that than let all that biomass go to the nids.

@Durin
1. For various reasons, what tech level are they at now? Mostly to confirm if they have warp travel now.

When do you suppose we will have to start worrying about vanguard organisms like genestealers and lictors? We might want to prepare the Arbites for hunting down a new form of "cultists" that will be coming in large numbers, especially if they have more psychic power to influence people now.

Checked in discord, the Nids won't be deploying vanguard organisms.

Makes sense, they're useless against Necrons so they may have adapted away from needing them.

So since the new Nids rely on agility I think these jumped up in priority.

Ion Barrier projector
Copied from the Tau these devices create a stream of particles that block and slow down people and vehicles walking through it that don't have proper ID tags. Sand bags enemies stops charges and lets allies escape easier, an overall improvement to defences. Moderately expensive but can provide an unexpected slowdown for enemy forces, and one that is not as easy to clear as more conventional barriers.

Slow down those nasty new Genestealers.
