Which we do actually, we have thirty years to recruit and train a shitload of Thunder Warriors. The thing about TWs is that Space Marines are just better than them unless you need the forces *now*.
Hence why we want to complete them. The thing about TWs is that Space Marines are just better than them unless you need the forces *now*.
It also gives us our own faux Astartes under our command. Instead of under Julius's.Space Marines are a mass production Super Solider with a limiting factor of the geneseed. If we fix the Thunder Warriors then we have a faster and "stronger" strain that allows us to augment our super soldiers rapidly and with not much more cost.
Emps ditched the TWs for Space Marines. We should just leave em as a desperate force and antipsyker supplement.Hence why we want to complete them.
If they're this good as an unfinished version because emps is lazy, imagine how good they are if he actually finished them.
On the other hand we're the only one that can modify them with Alkahestry. What will work for Callamus might not work for us. EG Psychic disciplines.Emps ditched the TWs for Space Marines. We should just leave em as a desperate force and antipsyker supplement.
Maybe the hypno-theraphy combined with Djiin Skein to solve the reflex problem but that should be about it. We have tons of wildlife to study and other powers like Callamus could research TWs more if they wanted.
Sooo, think we should try to make it policy to build a national Thunder Warrior production reserve of material? Just in case we get into another unexpected major war.The thing about TWs is that Space Marines are just better than them unless you need the forces *now*.
Good idea.Which we do actually, we have thirty years to recruit and train a shitload of Thunder Warriors.
Getting another century of life out of the Thunder Warriors or being able to teach them the right reflexes a century faster would be transformative in terms of how useful they are.Maybe the hypno-theraphy combined with Djiin Skein to solve the reflex problem but that should be about it. We have tons of wildlife to study and other powers like Callamus could research TWs more if they wanted.
He ditched them because he couldn't be bothered to improve them. The Space Marines were also never intended they were also a rush job after the Primarchs got stolen. They were also incomplete at least in canon and even in Embers since the True Born are a thing. Once fixed the Thunder Warriors are extremely potent.Emps ditched the TWs for Space Marines. We should just leave em as a desperate force and antipsyker supplement.

Emps also massacred them because they were a potential threat to him due to their martial prowess.Emps ditched the TWs for Space Marines. We should just leave em as a desperate force and antipsyker supplement.

The main reason Emps chose the Space Marines over the TWs is due to them actually being mass producible on a wide scale and had other benefits including pretty much being ageless. The TWs do have a number of benefits even while being unfinished including being able to easily kill multiple Astartes once they get used to their reflexes and are pretty much on part with True Born even if they do lack the reaction times of Astartes.Emps ditched the TWs for Space Marines. We should just leave em as a desperate force and antipsyker supplement.

And the age issue if they're good enough. Also we have word of Durin that we can use the process on psykers so maybe starting up an order to train up psyker TWs with them maybe specializing in biomancy which should not only supplement their abilities but also help deal with the reflex issue through the use of biomancy.
Actual immortality through biomancy is rare, but I imagine any hero biomancers who rise out of this hypothetical formation would have a decent chance of getting it.
Thunder Warriors can't do Space Marine hynotherapy. Durin said so.Maybe the hypno-theraphy combined with Djiin Skein to solve the reflex problem but that should be about it.
Once again, those TWs who could kill multiple Astartes were like, millenia old. And the TWs who get used to their reflexes are also TWs about to drop dead from age.The main reason Emps chose the Space Marines over the TWs is due to them actually being mass producible on a wide scale and had other benefits including pretty much being ageless. Ah, but we have the hypnotherapy learning chairs for normal people. We could develop something to help with the problem once we have the fundamentals for that down.Thunder Warriors can't do Space Marine hynotherapy. Durin said so.
We should make these some day.he Stormrider is a relic of the Space Wolves used by Great Wolf Logan Grimnar. Stormrider is an ornate war chariot held aloft by anti-grav gyrostabilisers. It has no means of self-propulsion, for it has ever been drawn forth by a pair of giant Thunderwolves since the time of Leman Russ. Power fields and runes of enchantment are wrought within the chariot's framework to protect both man and beast from incoming fire, enabling Stormrider to bear the Old Wolf into the heart of the enemy lines unscathed. Grimnar is amongst the Imperium's deadliest warriors, but when pulled by his Thunderwolves, Tyrnak and Fenrir, he is nigh unstoppable.
I known only mentioned it as a hypothetical.Actual immortality through biomancy is rare, but I imagine any hero biomancers who rise out of this hypothetical formation would have a decent chance of getting it.
Maybe we could develop a lesser technique that could be used to increase the effectiveness of the Juvenat?
Which also tells us there are ways to make TW live for millennia.Once again, those TWs who could kill multiple Astartes were like, millenia old. And the TWs who get used to their reflexes are also TWs about to drop dead from age.
Peeps been making that joke for a while, but yes he is wolf santa....He's focking Wolf Santa.
Wolf. Santa.
Good Hoeth, I just wrote those words.
Actually IIRC biomancers can sometimes increase their lifespands if they are good enough.Actual immortality through biomancy is rare, but I imagine any hero biomancers who rise out of this hypothetical formation would have a decent chance of getting it.
