true, but keep in mind their kit is likly the bets the imperuam of man in all its schizo tech could produce. For example, I doubt we have anything better than the custodaes. we likely have a few things that would be of direct use to them, but I suspect our tech would not a massive upgrade to a force kitted to the nines in relics and high end arcano tech.
Some of it will be very useful to them, like Solis, Super Exitus and Grav Shear. This will make humanity's dagger sharper imo.

Any tech we have that they could use would be the odd STC and well industry tech. We have the Doat industry tech of level 19 which would be a boost to any human polity.

There is always the option of **** off stop compromising our security you idiots, what part of secret assassins don't you get.

As for movement...well there's an option, albeit an unlikely one.

They're already players on the stage, we do a quick trade and done. No big security risk.
They're hidden players on the stage doing god knows what and god knows how, who can actually hide effectively...unlike us, which is the main thing keeping them alive.

Assuming that a "quick trade and done" seems overly optimistic at best and down right naive at worst, after all its not unreasonable to assume that the reason they're hiding well enough that even the Eldar couldn't find them is for a good reason.

We do have a lot to offer and well Ridicully is the Best human mortal Seer ever.
Like what?

A few examples of advanced technology that maybe a decent supplement to the vast archives of designs emps designed for the Assassins and Custodes as well as whatever 25 tech they could salvage from Mars?

Access to Ridcully who can do a lot more good helping out the far more powerful Eldar?

Recruits they don't seem to need.

If we do contact them sure we maybe able to do it, but I'd curb excitement for now.

They salvaged tech from Mars? Also we do have a lot of tech that was made for Avernus. Stuff that does not exist anywhere else that we know of. We truly have no complete idea of what they have. They may be more advance and may not be we don't know.

What we do know is that the galaxy needs every sane polity it can to work together to help this Quest not become Midnight. Coordination would be a help with everyone involved, if they decide to help.

Also again my main reason is that I think the Custodies are thier and can help save Lin or help him with the incredible dangerous study he has to do soon. The Custodies apparently became a more scholarly order and well 15,000 years of study is a lot.

@Enjou, instead of using the free GD on helping the eldar, I'd like to ask that you instead use it to find the Fortress of the Soulless. The Custodes may have learned something from study of the Golden Throne or the Emperor himself that could help Lin's soul problem, if not to fix it then to at least mitigate the symptoms like Lin's Rod did.

I'd presume that emps gave them warning before us, being located on terra and all that and with their authorisation they'd easily be able to simply take what they needed if they felt **** the consequences and if not then kill anyone who said no.

Yes Impalers extremely useful to the assassins. That is stuff that was made for Avernus, we have perhaps three things that are at their level, enthalpic, chrono displacer (possibly not given that they may just have the superior moment shackle designs) and Super Exitus.

I'd say its far from an unreasonable assumption to say that they are significantly more advanced than we are, to the point of primarily using the same stuff Vulkan keeps for his personal use assuming assassins and custodes. Take for example auramite, Vulkan knows how to make it, Lin's +5 daemon beating stick is proof of that, but he didn't give the formula because its too complex for anyone save for himself to practically make.

This is true of pretty much everything the custodes and assassins use. When the Custode's mass produced bolt shells require a tech clan whose entire purpose, all their training and learning is just to create said bolt shells because of their extreme complexity then perhaps it implies that their stuff maybe a bit beyond us.

Indeed one of the reasons why I do want to find it, I also think that helping the Eldar figure out the new level 4 is also very valuable, or whatever else it is the Eldar want us to do ATM.

That final reason though strikes me as entirely unlikely. Lin's problem is soul based, WTF are the Custodes going to know about that. None of them are psykers, all the Custodes who actually served with emps are long dead saved maybe Valdor, to our knowledge they haven't studied the Golden Throne in any capacity, they left that to the admech, nor would they have much insight into how to alleviate the strain of emp's power on anyone.

And what in the heck are they of all people going to know about the sea? If anyone the people who'd be more useful there are the Cullexes. Maybe they interact with the sea in an interesting way I dunno, but the Custodes seem very unlikely to be able to help in that regard.

Why wouldn't they have studied the Golden Throne? It's their charge's life support system, so it'd make sense for them to put a lot of effort into studying the device. Like, maybe they didn't study it, but I don't think it's wise to write off the possibility.

Because either they didn't study it or they studied it and learned little as in "we have no idea how this thing works" kinda stuff.

Nothing else really adequately explains to me why the thing started breaking down until emps eventually died. Emps certainly didn't tell them how it worked.

I dunno maybe they figured out enough to help Lin out a bit, but I find it very unlikely, especially considering that knowledge would be lost by Custodes dying in various ways, both in the line of duty and just getting old (unless Durin's changed that.)

Custodians are capable of speech and writing, which gives them the ability to pass knowledge onto others, so even if a Custodian dies their knowledge might continue to exist.

@Enjou can you please divine the fortress of the Soulless?

My reasons
1 tech trade with the assassins guild would benefit both of us. Or even just give them a copy of the tech we have to keep for when the Emperor comes back.
2 the Silent sisterhood also has tech we could use such as "null iron". Again trade between both of us would help each other.
3 they have to have someway of traveling around the galaxy in order to try to bring order to the galaxy.
4 they are trying to bring order to the galaxy and coordination would help everyone.
The following reason are based on my theory the Custodies are there.
5. the Custodies are there... maybe. Which would mean that we could ask them for help with Saint Lin. They spent 15,000 years apparently being a order that guarded the golden throne and being scholars. If any human faction will know how to help it will be them.
6 the Custodies literally have the most advance tech the Emperor could find and design. Imagine upgrades everything the Soace Mariens has and than some.

That both relies on them doing so before they get killed (the Custodes weren't just sitting on terra twiddling their thumbs for 10,000 years as it turns out) so death in the line of duty and being affected by the Imperial stupidity disease, something the Custodes are known to be affected by since for all that the fabstodes are parodies they still stopped using their best wargear in mourning for emps (I hope to god that was retconned).

Whohoo tech we can't even make let alone use.

That was retconned. New canon has them as pretty sensible people. And yeah, they weren't just twiddling their thumbs, but that doesn't mean they were doing nothing but fighting and getting killed. Them building up a knowledge base over time is entirely believable, and even expected, given that more knowledge would help them protect the Emperor's life better.

1. If they want a tech trade they would come to us.
2. If they want a tech trade they would come to us.
3. As far as we know the answer is either C'Tan, Crons or Eldar.
4. Why would the Custodes be there??
5. I still don't understand why you think the BODYGUARDS and ASSASSINS would have soul-fixing knowledge greater or more relevant than the Psychic-Specializing TL 30+ ELDAR HEALERS. Like the Bodyguards and Assassins specialize in killingness.
6. If they want to tech trade they come to us or Quartus.

It doesn't really make any sense to try to scy a place that is noted to be extremely hard to do so to find Custodes that who may not even be there. Seriously, if they aren't there we could be wasting a ton of actions for the wrong reasons. Not to mention that they may not even be alive or any left or may just be somewhere else. If people want to find the Custodes seems like it would actually make sense to just scry them specifically.
