You know, with all these attacks on Hero units you'd think people would have voted for the Make Terminator Armor option a long time ago. It only takes 8 years to finish and any investment in the safety of Hero units as good as ours is a worthwhile one.
We bought 20 suits of Human Terminator Armor from Svartalheim ages ago. All of our heroes who need it already use it.

On Ridcully becoming a god, that is a very bad idea from a practical perspective. As a mortal, he would be the greatest seer in the galaxy, capable of even meddling in the business of the gods. As a god, he would be a very small fish in a very big ocean filled with carnivorous fish who all want to eat him and can now reach him.

In terms of safety, he would be far better off staying as a mortal.
Ok one thing I do have to comment on...

Given where we are and who we know and his method of ascension I'd say the chances of us being unable to commission him a really good avatar from the Eldar or Avernus is really low.

I always assume the worst with a unknown so I am prepared for the fallout. You should know this by now we have been playing this quest for years.
Never really got that impression TBH.

Adeptus Astra Telepathica
I think you're missing the free divination.

Avernus doesn't accept gods under its aegis unless they pay a heavy price, a price too steep for any of the minor god alliance to pay without aligning themselves with the planet wholesale. Munstrum's allegiance should be to the Emperor, not some overgrown bioweapons lab.
I'll take the bio weapons lab, at least its honest about being a dick and has a real good health plan :).

But, regardless there's a good chance the PM will grab him to help out the Wheel of Fortune so its entirely possible it'd let him hang around.

@Doomed Wombat correct me if I'm mistaken, but are you a proponent for the idea of Ridcully ascending? If so, I'd like to ask why, given that one of your criticisms against the Emperor is that he lost touch with his humanity. Ridcully ascending would get rid of at least part of his.

I don't know if I'm a proponent of Rids ascending, in this case it was just an argument against the idea that his ascending would make him especially vulnerable when we have knowledge of ways around it.

Since you have raised the question I still don't know, but I do reject the comparison between Emps and Rids at this stage. Emps lost touch with his emotions while still as human as a being like him could get, this could very easily happen to Rids as well. Ironically Emps regained touch with humanity by accepting and becoming a God, but that's an aside and potentially a unique case given Emp's domain.

Regardless how much rids will still be in command of the resultant god depends how far down the path he is and I am 100% a proponent of not ascending him until he's as far down it as he can go.

Oh yeah, also, @Enjou, @Nurgle
Another one for the diplomacy slots: Checking up on Bertil and how he's developed since the techtrade.
And at some point we wanted to find out how the Eldar are dealing with their new "fruitfulness".

SLOT C - Year 1
-Y1: Spend Time With (Syr)
-Y2: Wedding Bells (Locked)
-Y3: Spend Time With (Klovis-Ultan)
-Y4: Knowing Avernus (QM's Choice)
-Y5: Write In: Take a Vacation
We have been allowed to do Spend Time With pairs before, Jane and Jacob as well as Xavier's kids. I see no reason why we cannot Spend Time With (Syr and Sigmund) given they will hopefully be spending time together whether we look in on them or not.
Possibly swap Klovis to year one and do the newly weds after they are married.

By my count a Gamma level psyker has something like a 1.6% chance of doing significant damage. Hopefully the anti-psyker training actions will put that low enough that it doesn't matter.

Survivor of the Pink Skies (+2P, +1C, +5 to all rolls against daemons )- Having proved herself against the most dangerous foes in the galaxy during the First Daemonic Incursion Baron Sigmund has had his faith and combat skills tested.
About Borr... check the trait above from Borr's character sheet. "Herself". "His". Does he have... erm.... interesting sideefects from said daemonic incursion?

Wait, have we done psychic material study on Temple Cats? If we haven't, that might be a way to improve our neo-astropathic receivers.

Who is Borr? That is the Royal House name of Sigurd and Sif. Sigmund comes from a Ducal House but is forming the House of Rotbart with Syr.

It is a typo from when the trait was copied and pasted. All the incursion did was change his personality a lot due to trauma and only living because of luck.

Past tense, I'm sure it's fine.
And @Adventwolf, thanks for the recommendations.

What recommendation?
