We would still need time to understand the tech ourselves. I don't think there's time before the conference.
This depends on how that understanding is communicated. Teachers or technical manuals? The latter can be copied.

You know looking back to the first chaos invasion where we nearly died to the chaos lord back then we have come an incredibly long way.
Rotbart is The Great for damn good reasons.

Been thinking about it a bit, could the schematics and knowledge that was used to improve the titans be used to upgrade the Knight Forlorn as well? Probably after a research action but seeing as they are and likely will remain our most numerous titan scale forces it would be a nice improvement.
The knight forlorn is already DAoT vehicle. The design is already made to be efficient and effective by the standards of dark age ai.

Do we have stealth tech for the knight forlorn? because they are the only giant class of veicule that I can see a pilot with (high) intrigue being good at stealth without being a paragon.

We could also improve their weapons like using a (giant) version of the gravity weapon with the elites pilots so that they can kill even more or fight above their class (it would be expensive as hell but so is a very good knight)?

Or maybe improve the pilots themselves? raising the number of possible pilots for the biggest knights is probably a good thing (mechanic speaking).

There also the fact that some of the things that they could fight now were not a thing in the dark age of tech, so I can some improvements being possible. Or at very last, when (not if^^) we use some of the things that we have access (runes, xeno tech, potions, psyker and etc) then some improvements will be made with the machine/pilot combination. Hell the fact that we know that some things resonate in the warp make things like a giant robot coat with silver a good idea (which is extremely bizarre to me).

Technical manuals designed for eldar, a psyker species with a vastly more complex array of senses would not translate perfectly for a human understanding of the universe.
We don't know that for sure, but yeah, teachers would make sense.

Actually, we should just ask.

@Durin
1. If we spend a major favor on better FTL (warp drives, etc.) tech, would we be able to share with the major human polities it at the meeting?

Adapt Stealth Technology: Vehicles- Archmagos Tranth has recently gained a good level of understanding of the stealth technology used by Recon Armour. He believes that with a few years work he will be able to figure out how to adapt it for use by vehicles, opening up several new avenues of military combat.

Time: 3 years
Chance of Success: -75% (84% after bonuses)

Cost: 80,000,000 Thrones, 4,000,000 Material, 400,000 Promethium, 790,000 Advanced Material, 8,900 Exotic Material.
Reward: adapt Recon Armour Stealth Technology for use by vehicles, +0.5 Mechanicus Unrest

I NEED IT!!

Harassment works really well for Abomination forces but that is something Gaius should know. Rotbart gets a chaos undivided General who we do not know. .

This is a point.

As Valinor proved knowing the Abomination's plans gives a critical advantage because they barely change them.

Do we know what their specific plan is?

The conservatives say no.

It's only half a point of conservative unrest we can push that through if we still have some leeway after the meeting.

Edit
Come on does no one want to truly surpass Creed he could only hide a warhound Titan behind a lamppost with Tranth help we could hide a warlord behind one.

Chaos Undivided tends to be a bit less predictable since they don't conform to one flavor of Chaos, but at the same time they usually have less higher end tricks due to lower favor from the individual gods.

No, at least not to the degree with the crusade against Avernus, but the Eldar Seers may figure it out.
I suppose.

I kinda hoped that he might cause he got the Valinor one before becoming unparalleled as I recall...or am I misremembering...too sleepy.

Eh whatevs "ELDAR EARN YOUR KEEP!"

even at this point? for a tech that will not be even the main one used? I mean some of their complain make perfect sense like the unstable power core, but this is really situational. If so this a great shame, no stealth mechas doing a huge amount of destruction for us :(.

My totally unbiased take on how the conservatives react to your suggestion.

But yeah by their reading of the laws of the mech, modifying a machine with something it was never meant to have originally (like stealth capabilities) is an egregious perversion of the holy original design.

Chaos Undivided tends to be a bit less predictable since they don't conform to one flavor of Chaos, but at the same time they usually have less higher end tricks due to lower favor from the individual gods.
They also tend to be far more reliant upon their leader keeping the followers of different gods from ripping each other apart.

Have no fear, for we know Rotbart is a Creed level Magnificent Bastard and that guy was known for hiding warhound titans behind small bushes. One day we'll get there.

So long we don't have a 'blank warp' with a 'blank Old one' as a unborn I am happy... and now I am sure that the webway of our system is one that can reach most/all of the rest and there a excellent reason for is not being maintained. Because no matter what is the unborn it would need to reach the galaxy to kill it (or it could just use the warp)

Must read up on her. Do we have a section for that?
Avernus zone information, Siren info, but you won't find much.

It's a Great One, thus Apex Psyker, that is the planet's first line of defence against immaterium threats. It lives on an Island somewhere and guards the Planet's "greatest mistake" OOC probably the premature.

The second Great One they are willing to discuss is Lady of Death, a being which rules over a island ream far the the south and is an aspect of the Immaterium given form. She is Avernus' strongest defence against immaterial attacks and one the guardians for Avernus' greatest sin.

@Durin

1. Would you allow the Lady of Death taking an interest in an Alpha Psyker from the Azure Isles? Just thought I'd ask.
2. I assume Lady of Death is Hel, correct?
3. What kind of soldiers/Specialists do the Black Irons have?
3.a Do they have sniper teams that roam the islands for targets and such?

ao looking t the data with 1 percent growth the trust would double itself as n 70 years. The rule of thimb is take 70 divide by median growth. So the trust should have hit over a trillion which changes things for us.

We have better discipline, Industry, and organization than other polities. Minus the orks we will quickly out grow the other polities in the next century. The Hellguard has at least a kill ratio of 10 to 1 and that was against the most elite orks we have seen. This not counting the growth from the colonies and the military build up we are constantly doing.

When Durin first showed us the region numbers i was like oh shit we are so screwed. But we are growing and the economy is getting better. Hopefully with the meeting we get enough industry tech to start a expansion war.
