[X] Push forward- You have come this far, you are not willing to falter on the final stretch. - One DC 230 roll, one DC 160 plague roll, then retreat. On survival earn honourbound favour from Eldar, on death earn minor favour

All or nothing. Here's hoping for the former if the vote goes this way.

Our next chance we need to investigate this. If Ridcully survives, have him divine it, otherwise set Jane on it.
Good thinking. The Adeptus Arbites are traditionally among the Imperium's finest interrogators, and even get a special bonus to Interrogation and Intimidation in DH2 to reflect that. Capturing some of these errant psykers shouldn't be too difficult and then it's just a matter of squeezing until they pop. This is a good way to preserve our Ridcully actions.

@Durin, just wanted to clarify:
1. If we pull back we need to make one plague roll per area we've cleared so far?
2. If we push forward we need to succeed at a single pair of rolls?
3. Do we need to push through any additional areas before making that escape roll?
1. yes
2. yes, + 1 roll that has no penalty for failure but provides bonuses for success
3. no
@Durin is Ridcully physically in nurgles realm or is his body outside with the eldar?
body is outside

Yes, let us capture the rampaging chaotic gamma level.

Gammas are just Baneblade level. They're not real threats.
Any psyker is a threat do not dismiss them because they cannot snap titans in two and chaos psykers punch far above their weight level due to not giving a shit.

+ Please tell me how you intended to restrain a psyker without killing them? Especially one that does not give a shit?

@Durin
1. Will we be able to investigate this essence the beacon drains from stars?

@Durin 1 how many times can ridcully fail a plague roll before it kills him?

Assuming that they're not only fatal when the malus causes him to fail a non-plague roll.

2 how many ships and troops can we send to asgard and muspelheim before turoq chanyes targets?

assuming ridcully learned what he could and gave us at least approximate numbers.

The Void Beacons could be preying upon C'Tan, hence the weird powers. Well, ok, they would be parasites rather than actual predators, but still.

Poison (gas, injection, ingestion, etc.), psychic powers, KO, shock weapons, blanks, snare weapons, concussion weapons, sonic weapons, and probably other ways that I can't think of at the moment. You seem to be drastically overestimating the vincibility of Chaos psykers.

I'm not overestimating their invincibility, you are overestimating their stability.

Should they get close to death or unconsciousness what are they more likely to do, let it happen or decide "DAEMON TIME!"

Basically the line that represents 'unconscious' as opposed to 'alive and blowing you up' or 'splattered to bits' is a fine line indeed.

It's not like we lack people who can walk it though. Arathea could probably do it in her sleep.
True, though I think ATM she's gonna be a bit busy trying to run down Turoq.

Though as people on the discord have been saying I get the feeling that if Turoq can't run then Areatha...well depending on how good her combat is he may have a slight advantage there, but other than that he may well be annihilated.

Then again, I'd imagine the number of paragons who can stand against a transcendent is very low indeed.

if you have aria on hand that would not be to hard, she is rather terrifying when it comes to shutting down psykers

1. if his malus reaches -100 he dies. though to be honest he will die beofre it reaches that anyway
2. that will be coming up later
That is a question.

@Durin
1. What roll means discovery? Failing a location roll, or finding the path?
1. failing a location roll, failing a finding the path roll mostly means staying there longer to retry unless you crit fail and go the wrong way. there will be no more finding the path rolls though

if you are fighting an alpha level transcendent control psyker and may just have an edge in combat, which is your specialty you are utterly doomed. In general for a paragon to go up against a transcendent they need either a massive amount of luck, numbers or just the right skills

@Durin, what's the difference between getting a normal success and a critical success on The Nature of (Nurgle)?
this line
It like the other origins of Chaos also has a connection to the Primordial Sea, from which reality was born. This connection greatly enhances the powers of the Lord of Decay and gives it the mematic contagion that Chaos is best known for, though at the cost of making it even more inhuman and other then even its nature as a Primal God would imply.

Or categorically counter them. Paragon Combat vs Transcend Adminstratum gogogo.

There isn't even enough Plague rolls to hit -100.. without crit fails anyway.

[X] Fall Back- You have mapped out almost all of the path and confirmed Isha's presence, with the plague in you pushing forward leaves to great a risk of dying and losing all that you have gained. - Retreat, earn major favour from Eldar on survival and minor favour on death.
