1. the illusions were usless, the carniflowers and the like had an effect@Durin
1. Have our Biologis noted any plant species have been particularly effective against the Daemons of this incursion and the pink skies? (Ex: do the Cannibal Grass or Illusion Pine do anything do Daemons at all?)
2. How badly injured is Ridcully? Is he already conscious and such?
He must have been an interesting subject for Lin and Ambroiso to heal.2. conscious but only just and not healing as well as normal, he will miss 1 turns action but no long term effects
We would be better off doing a bunch of this first. So guys, when we return to plan voting, I think one matter is the Biologis Complete Examinations. As in we ought to set a priority for them to be done in what order (roughly), even as we fit in other actions.
My current list would be:
Camo Croc (Stealth, duh)
Dragonfruit (Cultivate, Aerial Benefits?)
Razorgrass (Might be relevant to defence)
Carniflower (Might be useful to cultivate for defence)
Avalanche Shrub (Might provide bonus to sieges)
Honeypot Lily (Well, I wrote this one)
For Psychic Materials the interesting items might be:
Phase Tigers (We have a lot)
Camo Croc (Stealth, duh)
Spending 6 years on the Dragonfruit, for example, would be a waste if it turns out we can't weaponise it. Same with the other stuff.Preliminary Examination (Species) – There are many different unusual species on Avernus and Magos Biologis Saren wishes to examine all of them. However, he is willing to let you choose what he examines next.
Time: 1 year.
Chance of Success: unknown.
Cost: 40,500 Thrones, 2,025 Material, 2,025 Metal, 810 Promethium.
Reward: Discover more about selected species, including whether or not it is possible to tame or weaponize it, and how warp-tainted it is.
We do Complete Examination instead of Prelim-Detailed-Etc because it's more convenient for everyone.Spending 6 years on the Dragonfruit, for example, would be a waste if it turns out we can't weaponise it. Same with the other stuff.
I'm not saying we do that. I'm saying get a bunch of creatures we want to study, do Prelims on them, and then Complete Examination the ones that we can weaponise, starting with what the Prelims say would be most useful. We do Complete Examination instead of Prelim-Detailed-Etc because it's more convenient for everyone.
Actually I'm fairly sure the Honored Bloodthirsters are multiparagons.
I was reading the thread before I went to work this morning but I thought he said the Rageblade was not a paragon. Ok well that makes it a little better but not much.Actually I'm fairly sure the Honored Bloodthirsters are multiparagons.
3rd Circle Angyl which is below them is considered Paragon, 1st Circle is Minor God, 2nd Circle (Honored level) would be either Transcend or multiparagon I think.
It wasn't a martial paragon, but he was certainly a combat paragon.I was reading the thread before I went to work this morning but I thought he said the Rageblade was not a paragon. Ok well that makes it a little better but not much.
He had the unusual ability to do attacks that wasn't 'Charge Blindly' though. Rotbart just got trumped here, I think. Overwhelming force and poor die rolls have a quality of their own.It wasn't a martial paragon, but he was certainly a combat paragon.
Ajax is deadso sad. Rotbart getting his assed handed to him to someone who is not even a paragon. Also with so many position open maybe we should bring Syr back. She is as high as she can go in the Trust Navy. They will never put her in charge of it.
No they won't because she is the heir of Rotbart. Being the head of the Navy is a full time job and so is being governor. If Syr has sibling than maybe if she revoked her claim but she does not. So they will never put her in charge since there is a good chance Rotbart will die. A example being that he almost did die recently. The "They" in this case are: her uncle, the security council and the high council. We have influence in all of those spheres.
The navy and the army have grown to significant size greater than when Rotbart got offered the job. There is too much to do now for any governor to be in charge of a trust military and governor of a world. Also Sarnow is about to leave Avernus and he is considered to be the person that bested brother in law wants to succeed him.Syr could be made in charge of the Trust Navy, the issue is that she's *also* in the live of succession for Avernus so you know. In this case the issue is really more on our side than the Trust's side - Remember, we were even a candidate for General of the Trust Army, because our Martial was that good.

Also they would not change the traditional laws of hereditary just for the best candidate to be in charge. Syr cannot go any further. Her mother's family are also from the most traditional world in the trust. I do not see them changing anytime soon. Also we need ever political point for the coming conference.
Found the quote
You made sure to spend a good bit of time corresponding with Admiral Freyr in recent years, both in his position as the Lord Admiral of the Imperial Trust and as your brother-in-law and Syr's uncle. In this time you have found that he is actually grooming Syr as a successor for his position, if he should die before you. He tells you that while it may cause a few political issues Syr has the potential to be the best Admiral that he has ever seen, and that talent should be utilised.
We already have his sheet; it's under Other Characters on the front page.@Durin could we get a carector sheet for Major Ajax now that he is dead?
