Have to wait for Arbites to finish their action.
Personal Attention, though.

No one has actually asked yet
@Shard I think we should ask. Areatha has 50+ Learning. The knowledge she has may be Warp and Lore related, but that high Learning means that she should be able to pick up the Mechanicus' teachings fairly easily and then massively help out with actual science.

She is practically a xeno. I would not hold out much hope.
She counts as human. Saint Lin says so.

Likely falls under the same things Lin said for an eldar human hybrid, the act of a human and alien falling in love is heretical, but the kid produced isn't.

As she wasn't the result of that kinda love she's certainly covered.

@Durin
1. Has Areatha had time to finish teaching those anti psyker techniques or will that be revealed in results?
2. Does the Admech having 20/10 for moral give them a bonus against Turoq's subversion attempts?

Tales of Horror in the Warp: Aria Oakheart
Tales of Horror in the Warp: Aria Oakheart

Strange things happen in the warp. Stranger things happen to the rumors of famous heroes. Consider, for instance, the horror stories swapped around in chaos bars of famed psyker hunters and duelists - Stories of a woman who could cut through the warp, command the power of nothing itself.

"She's the Witch of Nothing! Nothing can kill Ausvan, you heard? Well, she turned him into Nothing! His soul doesn't even exist anymore, you better run if you ever see her.."

"And then she killed the Eradicator, cut through his flames like they didn't exist, then cut off his head, one slash, just like that he's gone."

"She kills daemons with her sword, turns them to nothing, she was murdering them nonstop when they tried sending daemons at her city, doesn't need any powers-"

"-She's one of those Pariahs I bet, Omega Minus Minus-"

"-She killed Whisper, she does that stilling thing and then he's dead-"

"-Inbrun, you know how he was gonna be a god after grabbing an Alpha Plus? Well he grabbed one and then he died, didn't see her coming with all the stilling going on-"

"That stilling she does? Yeah it's like nothing no nothing exists anymore, you can blow up cities before? Well you get hit by that you're nothing, then you're dead."

"Sometimes she doesn't bother with that and just kills you, I bet she only saves it for people she thinks are worth fighting."

"She's like- you don't see her and you're dead. They don't call her the Witch of Nothing for nothin, you don't see nothing, your powers become nothing, then you become nothing. She's a monster, she can turn anything, everything to nothing! You see her, just run. Run like hell. Anything's better than her nothing."

"Her name? Heard from the daemons that tried invading her world, 'Oakheart'. They pissing themselves, I tell you. None of em are ever going anywhere near that place again I tell you. Heard one of Ausvan's daemons call her Aria- Aria Oakheart's her name, that's my bet."

"Psyker? Yeah, she's one, just doesn't bother with it n'less you're worth fighting at all. She stabs you, you die. You can't stop her, she can dodge anything, cut anything. Heard she killed the Changeling like that when it tried to copy her. That woman's a monster, I tell you."

"You think she's a daemon gone native? Ha- I.. huh, that.. actually makes some sense, come to think of it.. Gods, I bet their planet worships her fucktons of sacrifices, that'll explain so fucking much.. Shit, that means she eats you when she kills you. Holy shit, that's why everyone she kills doesn't come back! She's digesting them all!"

AN:

10. not a bar but they do meet up. there are horror stories told of Jane and Aria, who have somehow been combined into one person by their rumors

The terror of daemons amuse me and feeds me and makes me grow stronger.

At least, that's what I'd think she'd say if she learned about her rep among Warp beings.

AdMech
SLOT A - 3 Years
-Y3: Examine Roskilde finds
-Y5: Examine: Mindcatcher
Please please please do the Grav-Shear Weapons both to finally get Jacob's sword done as well as giving access to weapons considered cutting edge by late DAoT weapon research facility to our hyper-elites (like the upcoming blank assassins).

If we merged Aria and Jane's character sheets into a Aria Oakheart, what would we get? :O

Traits: Retain all, except:

Merge Grandmaster Witch Hunter and Grandmaster Psyker Hunter
Merge Survivor of the Pink Skies into Champion of the Fens, Champion of the Fens adds +1 Control.
Drop duplicate Bi-Centenerian or merge into Half-Mellenial
Drop Scarred
Hit Transcend Combat

I'm ok with Sarnow joining the Trust Navy but I don't want Syr to cut her career short just to fill a vacancy. Her skills are too valuable to use on just the Avernite fleet and she is being groomed to lead the Trust Navy, I don't want to throw away that opertunity.

Syr is actually perfect for the Avernus Navy. She both know how's to deal with planetary assault and leading a army. She would actually do a better job assaulting a planet than Rotbart since she does not have a Mali's like Rotbart does.

While so far none of the raids have been successful it is feared that it it only a matter of time before Turoq's forces make off with either some valuable technology or someone who knows how to produce it. However according to Inquisitor Klovis-Ultan it is only a matter of time before this changes.
@Durin
I feel like these two sentences are trying to say the same thing.

@Durin I think I found some discrepancies on the turn post.
1. Based on the actions we should have an additional 2 year slot in the Void and an additional 4 year slot in the Mechanicus. Is this correct?
2. Are Mechanicus slots limited by type? If so, we have a base of 1 Explorator slot, 1 Biologis slot, and 2 Fabricator General Slots, correct? Answered DeusFerrus
3. Does Lin need to have no actions in seven years, or just one free slot?
4. How does Double Down and Expedite work? Is it that each year we can double the cost of an action starting that turn in order to either reduce the time by 1 year or give a +20 bonus to the roll?
5. How does cost apply for multi-year actions? Does it take the cost the first year then upkeep every year after, cost the first year then upkeep every year after it completes, or what?
6. When colonizing Tarascon, will we have to do a Hold Ground followed by Build Hive for each city we want to build, or do we just have to do a Hold Ground for the first city we build in the region?

I'd appreciate if someone that's not Durin could answer as many of these as possible, but I'm not going to do a mass ping.

Learning is good. IIRC if it gets high enough Frederick will be able to do Personal Attention on Mechanicus actions.

I'm looking at Scott's stats now and comparing them to Britton's, and man, as she is right now she is way more qualified to lead the Adeptus Mechanicus than he was. 2 points less in Diplomacy, but 4 more in Learning and 12 more in Piety. The only tech priest hero who had less Piety than who was essentially a pope was Tertiarius Saren.

EDIT: Wow. Tertiarius kinda sucks, statwise. He had less Learning than Frederick presently does, 19 to Frederick's 21. His Administration was higher at 20 and he had an extraordinarily measly 10 Combat. Honestly it's surprising he didn't die sooner than he did.

EDIT 2: Scott has less Diplomacy than Frederick, so if anything it's her who'd get Diplomacy boosts.
Maybe Britton had held doubts about mechanicus orthodoxy, but didn't really know how what to build his faith on after partially rejecting that?

The Avernite navy is not perfect for Syr though. As admiral of the Trust Navy she would have far more influence than as the Admiral of the Avernite fleet and her martial score will have a greater effect on far more ships. She would also be guaranteed a security council seat and would be able to use her skills to protect the Trust to a much greater extent, and with the enemies we could be facing we need the Trust's first line of defence as well lead and skilled as it can possibly be.
