on the subject on a flag there currently is not one, however if anyone wants to make one I am open for it

For The sake of a (good) discursion, I ask is he stupid enough to believe that a 'proper fight' is to be find in another location. Or to willing enter a warpgate? This warlord is pure gold, the eldar probably would think him as godsend (as a pawn).

Shit, we should have contacted the Eldar about this before the war started.

"Hi there. We have an absolute moron, by Ork standards, of an Ork warboss who is personally powerful enough to take over decent sized WAAAGH!!! Got any of those you want to disrupt?"

@Durin 1how many division do we expect Headcrusha to take out if we try to keep him alive?
2 what do the other generals think about trying to keep him alive?
3 will we loose goodwill trying keep him alive?

I mean part of the point of the thermonuclear battle tiger was to impress that north pole kitty Mittens fancies. On Svartfalheim that is ineffectual :p.

I don't recall that ever being part of the point. The point was to take advantage of the Rule of Cool and the fact that it'd do more damage than just some random fireball.

No the point of the Fire Kaiju Mittens was for rule of cool bonus. I'm the one who brought up the impressing Mittens' lady love but it didn't work out because a certain kill stealing psyker.

1. You are not sure not know his traits. If he has the right Paragon trait it could be impossible
2. Bad idea, trying to contain an Ork combat monster is hard and the more powerful Orks are uncannily good at messing up even flawless plans
3. If it works well no, if it does not yes

the problem is not how to keep him alive, he is a ork, he is a warlord ork with paragon in combat so be alive is the easy part, the difficult part (to me) is how to make him do a 'fight retreat' since the only way to him disengage is to believe that the fight is going elsewhere.

maybe something like this (but way better write than what I am writing).

put some of our elites (psyker, warriors and etc), make them kill a ridiculosos large number of orks (I mean bring a AAA team), shape the entire fight making this AAA team looking better (like they do all last hits and etc) Then make they moving (not retreating) to a spaceship and taking flight with a 'very convenient' bigger paint green, ship to be 'looted' and to be use in a persecution?

about this damaging our position in the trust, most of the generals are here, I would ask them 'hey this warlord is so terrible that I think that can use him as a pawn to future warghs, what you guys think?'

edit: is either this or something even more stupid like a teleport or daemonlogist being use to make him move elsewhere (willingly)

@Durin 1 do we know if we can get him to retreat?
2 will psyker support help convince him?
3 will a Giant mitten made of fire help?
4 is Tamia on planet and does she think she can plant the suggestion for him to leave?

I am asking because we have used psykers support on other orks to lure them into the wildlife on Avernus.

Edit right now I am thinking we go with the hellguard behind the walls to limit casualties that atomic mittens of doom and have it fight the ork war boss. With telepaths planting that he has lost too many boys and needs to go get some more and come back for a proper thumping. But in more crude and orkish language

Essentially take a week and see if that works because while it will be a risk we should mitigate the damage by using the Helltrooopers and the reward is these stupid idiot coming back. While he may be a combat monster we have never had such a high kill ratio against orks. I would say these has been the easiest but the Necrons and the Tyranid campaign were easier.

1. You do not know ic it is possible
2. With a crt success maybe
3. No, it would encourage him to stay
4, not short if crit

Why not just ask him for another rematch or something, convince him to postpone the battle for future, while both sides recover their strength to fight another day.

Or ask something about him using Avernus as a training dummy for a good fight or point him somewhere else for a good practice battle or something.

It will keep the orks contained in a way, by having him fight us over and over again, never expanding.

@Durin ok what if we did atomic mitten of doom. And had it run around his army with telepaths convincing him when it end that the Kritten went back to where he came from and he should chase it?

I would like to do kitten of doom and keep him alive but if not let's just do kitten of doom and have it fight him than send in a kill team.

@Durin
1.Have our forces in space reclaimed orbit?
2. Would it be possible to ram/crash a ship into HeadCrusha as a desperation move?
3. Could that kill him and assuming we evac the upper city do minimum damage to ourselves?

This probably is a terrible idea but.
1- we hit them hard (like the fire kaiju hard)
2- we kill as much boys as we can.
3- we send our warriors and etc when he is more or less defeated and cut his arms and legs.
Edit.

We only then send him in a ship (or maybe trade this guys with the eldar... They probably could use more stupid in their enemies, or a wargh pointed at the dark eldar as right now).
Edit

It's not the Ork way and he is an idiot by even Ork standards so he won't retreat. Also the more an Ork fights the bigger and stronger they get. If we kept fighting him over and over again he would get to the point where we can't kill him.

Well, ac-chally, runnin' away'z ded Orky, cuz den ya can come back wiv more Boyz later an' crump da 'umies roight proppa, an' wotz more Orky den dat! Dere's nuffin' Orky 'bout dying cus Orks is made for foightin' an winnin'!

We just kill him, otherwise we risk him ascending from combat gain into something just short of a warp entity and at that point he would be a one ork wrecking crew and destroy the trust.

@Durin
1. Can we scry and fry on headcrushas horde still?

My thoughts on keeping Headcrusha alive is that is would be nice if we could do it, but it falls into the same "sure would be nice if that happened but it is not going to" category as Saint Lin living forever, Vect having a heart attack and the Emperor making a sudden and miraculous recovery. This is a Ork that has risen to be the warboss of a T3 waaagh by strength alone, despite his utter stupidity. I think that killing him will be hard enough, taking him alive will not be worth it.

This isn't a T3 Waagh. Mar Sara was high end T2, led by a competent ork on a world without sufficient fortifications. This is just a large Waagh made out of trash, and a monster of a Warboss.
