I kinda want to see Rotbart in battle but we probably should supplement the Governor's Own with Wardens or the Marines in case we are biting off more than we can chew.

The Eradicator takes to the field
Power reduced to 0.4% by Jane
103/182 Black Irons killed
12/75 Elite Psyker Squads killed
5/12 Last Hunters killed
Janes suffered 28/250 HP damage
That was less than a 1%?
Damn I'm glad we killed this guy. He earned his name.

Soncus the Immortal vs Jacob d100=46+850(skill)+120(traits)+400(psyker)+200(deamonblade)=1,616
Jacob vs Soncus the Immortal d100=95+1,570(stats)+130(Traits)=1,795
Impressive rolls, but you did not earn the name.
Null Zone
Aria Null Zone d100=100+692(stats)+305(traits)+39(power)=1,136: Critical Success quadruple power
Auslan Medox defence d100=96+194(power)+600(stats)+300(traits)=1,190
260% power
-197 to all rolls

Dispel Attempt
Auslan Medox dispel attempt d100=1+174(power)+600(stats)+300(traits)-197(Null Zone)=878: Critical Fail quarter power
Aria Holding it d100=81+692(stats)+305(traits)+59(power)+200(null Zone)=1,337
2% power
reduce Null Zone malus to -193
The universe hates this guy.
Dalv ate the rolls to prevent us from seeing his bonus.
That is his bonus?

Another disappoint performance by our Helguard, especially considering they had top tier defenses on their side.

That Eradicator guy was really as powerful as "my first attack would have fried ten thousand elite battle psykers"? Or is 0.4% a typo?

Where are the Knight Titans?

@Durin
1. Does Ridcully think he can get that Archangyl's name before they summon it? Does he need to rest first?
2. Can the Sirens craft a one time use mega banishment rune? Would using it on the Exalted weaken it?
3. Are the Trolls mad at us, or are they understanding? Could they hypothetically levitate our roads and buildings, so that we may battle the Archangyl in a giant sky arena?
4. What is able to counter Eversors? Can we scry and Fry them?
5. Next turn, can we have an option to add some auxiliary band players to the choirs, so that they last longer?

I wonder how much pant shitting the 4 remaining Sorcerer Lords are doing if they felt 3 of their more combat-focused peers permailled (at least I assume that Aria's soulpurge permakilled the Daemon-Slaver) in short order. Or are they doing the traditional Chaos "my rivals are dead, backstabitty, backstabitty, hoorah!" dance?

I imagine even at full power it wouldn't killed 10k elite Avernite battle psykers since most of damage would have been wasted on overkill. Probably even 5%-10% would have wiped the entire strike team and the rest would just mean the resulting crater would have been extra-smooth and glow pretty collors.
Where are the Knight Titans?
Probably kept in reserve to help deal with enemy Titans when those show up.

Oh crap.

I just realised an asset I think we've been forgetting.

Didn't the Inquisition loan us around 250 kill teams each strong enough to survive killing a Primaris Psyker?

And there's "an Emperor Titan wouldn't manage this".
If this was only the chapter then I might agree with you.

Unfortunately this isn't just the Talons they've also got the 9000 other astartes backing them up.

Alas, we should have deployed two.

Are you deliberately overreacting or should I unfunny that?
How many psykers are in a squad? 5? 10?

This guy, at 0.4% power, aka, 1/250 of his real power, one-shoted 12 Elite Battle Psykers Squads.

And does the math not simply scale linearly here? The way we see the kills seems to indicate so. Would he similarly utterly destroy 3000 squads at full power?

I was talking about the Eradicator. Aka Mr "0.4%".

Oh him...

mmm yeah something does seem a little off.

Reading the description of the roll it would make more sense if it said something like "shielded those close" rather than nullified the attack cause it seems like Jane could only cut what was close and everyone else got the full blast.

It'd make sense that she made him attack at an effective 0.4% power against herself and the ones close to her.

That's some impressive luck there.
Painful probably.

Still I'm not 100% sure how she did it.

I think Avernus was helping Aria out here. Out of the three we sent out Aria was the one that needed the help most due to not being a Hero character. @Durin did say that hidden Avernus modifiers would be represented by nat100s or nat1s.
