1. if so they did not reach the galaxy. there are world sized bioforms in the War in the Void however, many of which are psykers scaled up to match their size. for a psyker the size of a planet ripping apart a Necron World Engine is no incredible feat. And so takes the already scary command abilities of the nids and super charges it.
Kinda like a more balanced version of Abaddon really depending on whether or not the Lord is Abaddons equal. If it is then its a massive upgrade to him.
@Durin
1. Are Hive Fleets Kronos (the chaos nomming one) and the hive fleet that makes nid war worlds (I'm not sure it's named so Tiamat will do) canon in Embers verse? Probably a silly question, but its good to confirm things like this and they were introduced fairly recently.
2. Oh yeah don't we have Dreadnaughts from the Blood Dragons?
Those are going to be amazing once Tranth upgrades them.
Can normal mortals be hooked into Dreadnaughts?I appprove of putting the greatest warriors of the Trust in Dreadnoughts for all time. Neither truly alive or dead.
No, or at least not in EmbersCan normal mortals be hooked into Dreadnaughts?
I never heard of any non-Space Marine being hooked into them.
And I suppose doing !!SCIENCE!! to Dreadnaughts to try and fix that dun work. Understood.
Well apparently not in these universe but in cannon yes.Can normal mortals be hooked into Dreadnaughts?

While the idea of making a bunch of Abomination cultists and daemons try to invade the ocean sounds hilarious, I do not think that offloading the responsibility of guarding him makes sense. Even if the Sirens would do it for free we'd still need to deal with the political fallout of putting scary Xenos in charge of such a sensitive and important task, especially due to the potential implications that we couldn't handle it adequately ourselves.I want him to stay as a guest of the Sirens, and for the Chaos Crusade to know that.
I get the feeling that was less an Dreadnought and more likely the Right of Setesh. In Rogue Star the book the Rogue trader talks about the mechanicum putting one of his ancestors in a dreadnoughts as thanks for finding a STC.
Teleportation to establish a beach head then land forces.honstly, my plan for lin would be to put hin in our underground subway and just zip him over to the next city as soon as we are sure they won't be able to breach the tracks. Or put him in the azure islands. because I would honestly be curious about how someone would even land forces to attack that place. By my understanding, there is very little unclaimed land around the hives, and the oceans are hella deadly.

Teleportation to establish a beach head then land forces.
It'd be bloody, but that's the best way I can think off.
Demons and gifts. They'd have to take an airport, and even then they'd still be landing ships on a hostile fortress hive. It would be a landing zone they would effectively be unable to secure. well they could likely do some sort of warp portal fuckery, but I rather doubt they would be able to deploy super heavies, and it would be a fragile foothold.
Ram it with a battleship to open the shields. They'd have to take an airport, and even then they'd still be landing ships on a hostile fortress hive. It would be an approach that they would effectively be unable to secure. well they could likely do some sort of warp portal fuckery, but I rather doubt they would be able to deploy super heavies, and it would be a fragile foothold.
Not in Nazjatar.
No just teleport them closer to the walls than normal. If they could teleport superheavies into a hive without having to siege down it's wall then we'd never see seigies.
As far as we know the Sirens don't have void shields. The crusade fleet can just boil away the ocean with lance strikes or, indeed, by ramming a battleship into it and detonating the reactor. It'll result in an extreme reaction from Avernus but the reaction may not come quick enough to preserve Lin's life.
