[X] Avernus is willing to deploy 9 out of 13 of its armies on extended campaign and 1 more on short term basis.

Bah, 9 out of 13 is good enough for the Waagh. Since the waagh is such a big threat we can't expect the Trust to bail us out. We need to keep enough forces home to fend off the Abomination invasion fleet.

Whilst we only need up to 2 Armies kept behind to defend, with the remaining 11 able to be deployed against both Valinor and the Waagh...

I'd feel safer if we kept another behind, just in case of something like 'Daemon Incursion' or 'Multiple Alphas fall to Chaos and Wreck Face'...

Mar Sara has already, as a province world, been designated as relatively expendable. Avernus is not expendable to the Quest.

1. you don't but doubt they have a force of hundred of billions including a flagships that out-masses the entire Imperial Trust Navy, if they did there is a good chance they would not have waited until you were distracted

It's a tier 2 force of Orks. That means that all Ork ground forces will have +200 to all rolls. The base Ork Mobs will be able to trade decently with Midgard's Iron Guard. Which they outnumber. And they're mostly Scarboys (veterans), meaning that they could easily destroy normal Trust Guard unit types. And that's not even getting into their Nobs and Gargants, who in addition to their +200 bonus will have a much more drastic increase in armor.
 
also about this argument remember that the Imperial Trust Security Council consists of skilled generals who are not liekly to sacrifice Avernus or Saint Lin

1. If you smooth out the point difference between them by giving Abaddon extra stuff other chaos lords can take he actually beats Horus in math's hammer if they get into a slug fight? Would you say that's accurate now?

I am strongly against sending all but the minimum.
2 armies for defense, 2 armies for emergencies seems good to me.
This also means that we'll have resources at home to expand if the opportunity/need arises.

1 current Abaddon could kill great Crusade or early to mid Herasy Horus. he would lose to the Horus that fought the Emperor and to most f the current deamon primarches, who have a lot more experience then they once did. the fact that it is most not all shows just how scary Abbadon is
2. still thinking but an artifact or hero are the most liekly reward

I really want to make an omake where Abaddon is sent backwards along with the rest of the 5 to maybe the Ullanor triumph and wreak face.

We know that we are a target in the near future. We also know that Avernus can step up its threat level. Stripping down to a very low level is dumb and won't make the Trust think any better of us.

7 armies + 1. Once the Valinor crusade has been neutralised, 9 + 1.

[x] Avernus is willing to deploy 7 of its armies on long term campaign plus 1 on a short term basis.
-[x] Once the Valinor crusade is neutralised this will increase to 9 long term plus 1 short.

Also, the Waaagh has 1,000 armies worth of Orks. That's a lot, and would be a threat even without the Awakening, even without the number of scarboyz, even without the gargants, even without the oversized spacehulk. With those four things, the Waaagh is an incredible threat. It could only be matched by the Crusade if the Crusade has titan legions and space marine chapters, and a lot of them.
