The laser gland is in their throat. They roar lasers, Godzilla style.

Sorry forgot that.

There's an excess of skulls. Slaanesh likes excess, and Khorne likes excess in that area as well. Ergo we need LESS SKULLS, not more.

Besides, are you going to argue that THIS does not have class?

This is class and I hope there is a two headed eagle or something somewhere on Avernus.

Also like your flag idea and hope we can pick it as an option that raises morale in general and helps us further development of Avernus culture.

I`m pretty sure that`s false. There is a book called Xenology if I remember correctly. In it the ad mech dissected a lot of various xenos and wrote reports on what they found. One of the dissected Tau was etherial. They have some kind of organ that produces pheromones and is very, very similar to the organ that Q`orl have. The effects are also the same. They even speculated that some third party bioengineered etherial caste to be what they are now for some reason. Probably Eldar.

That changes the scenario. That means the etherials are poison types with the sweet scent ability and not psychics. It also means that the Dark Eldar are trying to make Dark Types (at the least) as they have poison types. This also means that there are DE out their secretly controlling the Tau at some level.

This even makes some sense lore wise as mucking about with sapients with such small souls would not risk Warpy stupid. Letting the DE be DE without getting mandatory invites to the Party that Never Ends. A period of Warp storms is coming soon meaning that next time the IoM sees the Tau they will have a pink fairy cast or at least some alien species will be incorporated to fill that slot.

Now I have the vision of some Inquisitorial Group raiding a DE discovering a Eldar command units LARPing as the cast of the Pokemon anime/games. The IG barely has time to mentally question why these DE have inexplicably developed better taste in clothing, when a barrage of red/white grenades fly at them. At this point the grenades teleport in and out random mutants (before flying back to the DE's hands...) The IG is going nuts over how the DE never actually fight them... and is confused on why the DE keep leaving behind bags of thrones when they run out of mutants.

The Eldar battle cries make even less sense. 'I like shorts' when engaging and 'They are comfy and easy to wear... so I wear them year round!' as he ran away. Inexplicable twisted versions of Dark Eldar Friendship Speeches have literally driven some troops mad with the revelation. No Warp nonsense... those speeches are just that off. One of the leaders just stares at them on both ends of combat. Its oddly endearingly creepy.

Weirder still whenever the IG troops lose, the leader whites out and ends up fully healed at the last medical facility they've been to with half their on hand money missing. Still the troops are gone though.

@durin can't remember if this was talked about before but can we build a zoo that holds some animals of Avernus and research the speacial breeding of some natives for domestication?

I mean some Rough Riders groups make use of some crazy animal mounts like Groxs and other creatures so why can't we do the same with some Avernus natives? I mean Raptor riders would be pretty awesome.

Looked at the data sheets and noticed that the production by city got updated to turn 19, that gives us a much better idea of population levels.

Thundabeasts are possible, a bit on the large size however

Well they are very well armored, are great chargering mounts with their size, strength, speed, armor, and defensive field, are very fast, naturally work well in herds, and are large enough that Rough Riders might be able to use heavier weapons on them.

If they can't be widespread they can always be ae lite unit of Rough Riders and become like say the Thunder Riders.

Also has the side affect of that if we can tame Thundabeasts they can be a great food source and we might be able to harvest their armor.

I fully support pursuing this area of research.
