Bloody phone.

What I was trying to say was more strong polities vs the Orks the better.
Not really. They'd be single planets amidst hundreds - a drop in the bucket - and then only if both Durin likes them and they successfully roll to be canon. It's a lot of effort for a small chance of having just the barest effect as far as I can tell and then something we are very unlikely to ever notice.

Better than nothing though.

I will mention that some of the polity makes are both canon and likely to survive the coming awakening. Not say which ones of course

@Durin
Got some ideas for tech, but I wanted to check some things before I do it just in case.
1. Our Plasma weapons do not have the modifier that makes them explode, but do they fire fast enough for us to consider them automatic?
2. Do the launch mechanism of the Super Exitus Rifle function in a similar way to the grav AA batteries we have, albeit more advanced and miniaturised?

1.not. Normally but is possible
2. Yes

I don't know if these has been brought up but more tech that can be found is advance metal allows like carbon nanotubes and the like that be used in the construction of a space elevevator. We could build one on the moon and significantly increase ship build time.

Exotic Material Advanced Impalers would be nice additions for the Astartes and other elite forces.
Ehhh depends on whether the modifications would let them use alternate ammos for me.

I mean if the boost is substantial enough that it completely outclasses the Neutron Guns while being cheap enough that a few thousand could be made easily and have alternate ammo that'd be perfect, but that combo seems... unlikely though not impossible (my main concern is that the SER uses Relic Material, which I'd imagine is concentrated in the launch mechanism and Scope and without it I'd imagine the gun wouldn't work well enough or be safe to use or something). For now though the Neutron Guns are both strong enough and have the advantage of infinite ammo while being strong enough to give Plasma weapons a run for their money.

If that makes any sense kinda woozy ATM.

Yeah on my phone and tired spent the day covering a football game. I hate drunk people.

But it is suppose to say decrease time if we can get a space elevator.
I knew :D, and as the designated don't get drunk guy at the party this evening I feel your pain.

What's the current vote count anyway? I feel like more people need to jump on my shiny new bandwagon from that ratty old bandwagon.

Rapid Fire Plasma Launcher.
Rapid Fire Plasma Launcher.

A twinned pair of prototypes recovered from the ruins, these weapons seem to be attempts to create rapid fire plasma weapons bringing the power of the weapons against the Men of Iron. And it worked to an extent.

The first variant has versions ranging from pistol to cannon, with the theoretical diagrams of larger weapons being recovered, but not built. These weapons are capable of rapid fire equal to that of their equivalent Impaler. However, the plasma fired by these weapons is only half as hot as that fired by more conventional weapons. This still makes it significantly more powerful than an Impaler weapon, but due to its costs it is not recommended that these weapons be deployed extensively beyond the Helguard.

The second weapon system seems to have been made with the intention of keeping the full power of the Plasma weapons intact and surprisingly we have the designs of two of these weapons already. The Plasma Flamers which while complicated are simple compared to some of these weapons. Appearing more like Imperial weapons with a massive number of coolant tubes and exhaust vents these weapons were certainly not fully developed as they require a strong human to use even when in Power Armour. Appearing in versions ranging from a pistol to a heavy rifle (a grand total of three weapons) these devices are only capable of firing in burst of three shots with a five second interval in-between. During this time, the devices will vent vast amounts of waste heat to the point that any non-power armoured soldier will be flash boiled and those in basic power armour will be uncomfortable. It has also been determined that over riding the burst function is possible, but not recommended as the waste heat will either cause the device to explode in spectacular fashion, or simply melt the user and all around them for a considerable distance. The trade-offs for the weight, the time between bursts, the personal danger and the cost is that each gun is effectively three plasma guns in the same space that are very likely to hit the same target when used by a skilled opponent. And as many soldiers will tell you the number of things that can be hit three times by a Plasma gun and not feel it is very small.

Super Exitus Series
A theory among the Mechanicus of the Trust is why the Super Exitus Rifle was discovered, but no equivalent guns were found for other variations (such as pistol, carbine, rifle ect.) Well those designs have been recovered and the reasons pieced together from the Muspal archives to the point that a conclusion can be guessed at. Currently there are several weapons in the Super Exitus series from pistol, to assault rifle, to shotgun and finally the only weapon we had previously recovered the sniper rifle.

The premise behind all these weapons is the same, a unique launch mechanism based on incredibly potent gravetic manipulation to fire a bullet at speeds comparable, if often lesser than the speed of the Super Exitus Rifle, which as we know can gravely injure almost anything hit by the weapons. The obvious question of why the Dark Age did not deploy these weapons only the sniper rifle is one we have concluded was due to cost effectiveness. All these weapons use Relic Material, some to a lesser extent than others, but all do. However, the sniper is the only one currently capable of firing different forms of ammunition rather than the standard adamantium spike rounds (and it has to be adamantium, no other materials will do they will either burn up or deform under the speed and thus friction they are placed under) and can do so from a longer distance than any other. This puts it far away from the front lines where the operator and the gun is not as likely to come under fire risking the loss of the weapon while still being an incredibly dangerous threat. While mass deployment of these weapons on any scale is a dream, we should be able to find a use for them. The pistols would make good side arms for the Super Elite Operatives at least.

Please tell me any mistakes I'm kinda tired.

Actually, how do Omake's end up cannon? I was under the impression that what is cannon is chosen based on whether the author thought they fit into the story background and whether he liked them.
Is there actually a dice roll involved? what kind of dice roll?
Actually relevant because I'm midway through writing some about the new planets.

As far as I can tell they're canon if @Durin thinks they fit as canon.

The reason we don't know if any of the polity omakes are canon is because how on earth would we know that they even exist, never mind all the info we've got on them through the omake.

I don't think there's a dice roll for it though... well possibly to see if it survives, but that's different.

his search for a source of the rumored valuable psycho reactive Khaydarin crystal.
Oh oh I have a suggestion for that.
