we dont have alot of chaos cultists ? and trading humans to xenos for stuff is a very iffy road to go down upon. And we have had this discussion few times aswell i think.

I would actually like 2-3 decent plans so there is some choice but i dont love the changes made to the one posted atm.

question to durin , others:

1) What about using some of our escorts maybe ligher cruisers to escort our own trade so the apparent piracy doesnt become a problem for our trade income? Or it isnt a big enough problem (just assign a portion to do that basicly?)

He also mentions that the Imperial Trust Navy has started to provide escorts for ships moving between the worlds of the Imperial Trust which have already destroyed several groups of pirates.

It is cause of that comment , my thought was too gurantee our own trades safety even further and part of the question was is it too small of a problem and kinda pointless.

So apparently, GW has basically confirmed that the Sisters of Silence are still present and active in the 41st millennium. (Source)

There are two significant clues that point to this being true. 1. The Regimental Standard is weekly reading for the modern guardsmen. That is, guardsmen of the 41st millennium. 2. Culexus was established during or prior to the splitting of the Imperial Army. If Culexus took all blanks to make assassins (thereby precluding Sisters of Silence from existing), then there wouldn't be any Sisters by the time the Guard - and by extension guardsmen - started existing.

As you can see, my logic is entirely foolproof and anyone arguing otherwise is wrong and is a genestealer hybrid infiltrator trying to sow discord. It is imperative that you not listen to them.

If I had to guess, the reason why the Sisters of Silence are still around is because not everyone is Assassin material. Sisters of Silence might also be more cost-effective to make when it comes to pure battlefield usage.

EDIT: Holy crap these people were cool. They had rank names such as "Oblivion Knight" and "Knight Abyssal", their leader's sword was wielded by the Emperor himself, and she was called the "Soulless Queen of the Imperium".

Ah, I see now. I think it's not a serious problem for us now, Trust Navy is seriously OP. In time of war pirates may be be an issue, but then ability to assign warships to patrol and escort in time of war is very situational and should be dealt on case by case basis.

@Enjou Durin already answered my question about mentoring, we can take it as many times as we want
1. you can take it as many times as you want in one turn

Knowing this, would you consider, modifying the telepathica options so we can take the Mentoring Beta at least one or maybe two more times?

Neither Xavier nor Tamia actions are immediately urgent, and as I said before each Beta Primaris is an extremely valuable strategic asset, and that would be very useful in the next and imminent war.

Noted for the future (next turn has 4 Betas I think), but we're past the deadline for voting now, so I can't make changes at this point.

Yeah, we haven't done a very good job historically of picking the right options for stomping down cults. I'd be a lot more worried if they didn't question said decisions...

You mean the cults that have barely any presence on Avernus beyond the Abomination right after its formation and that big upsurge after the huge Chaos Incursion? The ones that Jane and her Arbites hunt down before they can even get established?

Oh yea, we're doing an awful job stomping on them

Both times the Cults had a significant upswing we were slow in dedicating actions against them,
leading to each uprising snowballing for longer than it should have. If we had dropped everything to spend as many actions as possible on Cults in each instance we would have had substantially better outcomes.

We've done a good job in avoiding periodic flare-ups without external prompting and in keeping overall numbers down, but we've been a bit less effective in dealing with them when they start to get entrenched.

1. Durin, can we attempt, through Ridcully, to become friends with Gork and Mork? They seem to be fairly fine fellows, if I say so myself. Anyway, we're going to fight Orks anyway, and they love that.

Due to incorrect formatting, I didn't get an answer last time. So I ask again: Can we become friends with Gork and Mork? Even if in a rather violent friendship?

Orks don't do co-existence, it's either destruction or enslavement. To do otherwise wouldn't be Winnin'.

It got bad enough last round that the QM told us to pick more anticult action or risk bad end.

As it is we burned a total of ~8+Relations, a city (or 3), and a good chunk of our population. In the name of action economy.

Which we then slowly fixed over 30 so actions. Admitably Diplomacy actions are sort of unneded, so more like 18-Year actions in Admin.
