@durin, what's the tradition of the Nine Worlds concerning funerals for their warrior nobility? Funeral pyre? Sending them out on a ship and exploding the ship? Sending them out on a ship into the nearest sun?

It makes the resolution of Syr's problem go quite a bit faster.

because it works. @durin we should spend some time to make good and goddamn sure that Freya is remembered, on Avernus at least, and if her brother isn't locked up in Vanaheim's warpstorm, we should personally inform him of the sad tidings. It's the only decent thing to do.
 
I will say the one suggestion of having the AdMech come up with anti-venom implants would be a good idea to pursue, even if it's only doable for our high ranking people.

I don't think it will, actually. When Henry's wife died it took him years to get over it. What taking the action multiple times does is give a bonus to the action. We'll likely be helping her cope for a few years.

Also, generalized family time is good for her mental health as well. Not everything she does needs to be about Freya's death.
 
@durin might it be possible, now that we have that Advanced Automation thing from the ships, to see about asking Britton (just seeing if it's possible) to maybe automate some home-defense microlas weapons designed to constantly scan and monitor all areas of the Palace and eliminate blink spiders on sight? No weapons powerful enough to harm a human, but more than enough to fry a spider, linked up to something scanning a dedicated area and zapping any spider-shaped object that comes in their path?

Might be interesting to at least see Britton's reaction to such a question. And hey, if it works, it might lower the blink-spider deathrate.
A fitting tribute to a fallen Lady, in my estimation. Her loss will _not_ be forgotten.

Additionally: my meds are prolly making me a bit maudlin, so please disregard if I'm being silly.

It is fucking hilarious yet to be expected that our criminals are, like everything else, the best and began exporting themselves to conquer other planets' underworlds.

I like to imagine these are actually the guys that couldn't cut it in Avernus' underworld and are like low level enforcers.

Also we may want to consider clones as a 'just in case our entire family gets offed' thing. Not making them but getting the samples readied and put into those one time stopping 'no decay' fields in case our people need more in the future.
