I think last time the Everglades were that quiet we got wormsigns.
no, they are little better against Tyrant Lizards and no better against Thunder Beasts@durin once we get the vanquishers up, will the casualties in the Elysium decrease as vanquishers would be better against the Lizards and thunder beasts
NOOOOOO!!!!! YOU'LL DESTROY US ALL!!!So I'm going to say this right now, whatever infantry scaled weapons we don't send over to the Ad Mech or that they don't need, we probably should just hand off to the Governors Own or someone we deem important.
Because having at least one or two Conversion Beamers for the Governors Own is a fucking must.
Our Governor's Own aren't Space Marines and so can't become Techmarines, therefore it must belong to the Mechanicus ONLY.40k Wiki said:Conversion Beamers were primarily used during the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy in the late 30th and early 31st Millennia for dedicated siege warfare or starship breaching assaults by specialised operators such as Space Marine LegionTechmarines and Mechanicum Destructors. Should anyone else attempt to use the weapon, its Machine Spirit might become greatly angered and turn its ire upon the wielder instead.
no, only heroic psykers get their own actions
melta not plasmaOnly Heroic Primaris Psykers get actions, IIRC.
I'm interested in the fact that Muspelheim has better plasmatech than Ancient Helheimers. This means that they've never stopped progressing technology via science.
These are DAoT ones, hopefully they are more stable.NOOOOOO!!!!! YOU'LL DESTROY US ALL!!!

Wait when did they give these to everyone?
I've never heard of haywire weapons before. What are they?Haywire weapons are good too, they work on anything from eldar tech to necrons.
Doesn't matter. They're hugely complex devices and unless the operator knows how to work them, it's best not to touch them unless it's deemed absolutely safe by the Mechanicus. These are DAoT ones, hopefully they are more stable.
I'm more hopeful if we can develop this eventually to make a matter anti matter reaction reactor.![]()
Sounds like a load of superstitious hocus pocus.NOOOOOO!!!!! YOU'LL DESTROY US ALL!!!

Anti machine weapons, they literally cause mechanical devices to stop working. They're not EMP I think as they can work on both necron tech and eldar tech.
no it is more they are incredibly complex weapons that should not be used by an untrained soldier who may get something wrong and blow themselves up
They are dangerous, and he is right that we need to be careful with them, but DAoT ones are much more stable than the ones the Imperium made during the GC, like pretty much everything from then, but we defiantly shouldn't be handing them out like candy.
I don't think they would be the best fit for conversion beamers. They are traditionally siege weapons and the Govs usually are a fast moving strike force. Also the Governors Own aren't idiots. You can train them to use bloody Conversion Beamers, it's total acceptable.
they are total different, assuming you men VolkiteThey are dangerous, and he is right that we need to be careful with them, but DAoT ones are much more stable than the ones the Imperium made during the GC, like pretty much everything from then, but we defiantly shouldn't be handing them out like candy.
@durin, the Muspelhime Meltas are they as good as Volkies?
Yeah, sorry.
There is no downside in letting them have access to it. The weapons are literally anti-anything.I don't think they would be the best fit for conversion beamers. They are traditionally siege weapons and the Govs usually are a fast moving strike force.
and not at all suited for the short range combat the Governor's Own are best used as, also it would take years to train a member of the Gvernor's Own how to use oneThere is no downside in letting them have access to it. The weapons are literally anti-anything.
They are, the problem is that they need time to be anti anything. Against an enormus Lava worm great. Against a fast moving small target, not so great. and that isn't even talking about how freaking heavy they are. There is no downside in letting them have access to it. The weapons are literally anti-anything.
just different, Volkite are designed as anti-infantry weapons while meltas are anti-tankYeah, sorry.
But are they comparable, superior or weaker?
Cause the Volkite were melta weapons from the GC, and were lost so... are they?
MM, Melta's probably are still pretty good anti infantry, but I see your point.just different, Volkite are designed as anti-infantry weapons while meltas are anti-tank
Unless the Governors Own are constantly fighting within 30 meters constantly, I can understand that, but otherwise that doesn't make too much sense. At 30 meters the Beamer is basically anti-tank and at 50 metes it can destroy a Leman Russ. If you want to rule that it's a bad idea that fine, but I'm just saying that it's a waste to not be using one of the best weapons the Imperium has access too.and not at all suited for the short range combat the Governor's Own are best used as, also it would take years to train a member of the Gvernor's Own how to use one
in short conversion beams would be not be best used by the Governor's Own
It simply isn't suited for their style of fighting, a long range specialized anti tank force, or siege specialists, yes, but a close range fast moving squad...Unless the Governors Own are constantly fighting within 30 meters constantly, I can understand that, but otherwise that doesn't make too much sense. At least one or two should be given to some group.
But would you consider the Governors Own a stealth squad of all things? Hell, there is a pistol version of the beamer, you can use pistols in melee in the RPG lines. It simply isn't suited for their style of fighting, a long range specialized anti tank force, or siege specialists, yes, but a close range fast moving squad...
It would be like giving a stealth squad nothing but Bazookas.
