The kind that want to get away from bullying? On a more realistic note drewski has a point.

My only problem with this plan is that we would either be ditching Syr on Avernus or making her switch to a school in orbit when she's 17 years old. Idk about anyone else but that seems liable to backfire on us. I've never met a teenager who has wanted to change schools their junior year.

On the other hand, she's a military genius and would probably see the appeal of attending the academy herself. And getting off the Hellworld for a bit might be good for her as well. Or she could just stay and attend her current school and come visit the parents on weekends or something. At 17 she's old enough that she wouldn't need us looking over her as much, and she wouldn't have any official duties as of that time so it's not like she couldn't.

But honestly, the needs of Avernus take precedent over this kind of thing, and us finding time to attend the Naval Academy is important.

Does she? On one hand she'd be a target for cultists (que Cultist Senpai-dream boat or Teacher Senpai-Giving her detention so he could convert her) and it'd be hard for her secruity teams to just let anyone near her. I woudn't be surprised if they had a list of kids that were 'pre-approved' to be her friends.

Maybe she can do virtual school or mail order school with us in the academy? We are the Governor so arrangements right?

All it would consist of is a curriculum that is already made by the teacher that is given to a trusted tutor that she'll have. Said tutor will spend time with Syr, say 4 hours a day (relative to space time), and then at certain points mail her work, tests, and projects to be graded.

Or have the teachers come up to do the testing. I'm sure they woudn't mind going to safe orbit to grade a paper or two right? (This is a joke)

So yeah instead of home schooling it'd be..Orbit Schooling? I know in South Korea it's possible to finish an ENTIRE school year in a month if you do it online (hard mode) but it's possible. Apparently, alot of gamers do this so they can focus on gaming quicker instead of having to take time a whole school year to do work. Same thing for Syr, except instead of her playing video games she can learn Space Navy stuff with us or HOW TO FUCKING ORGANIZE HERSELF! Jesus this girl has ADD or something that she repeatedly fails how to collect herself? So yeah more time to work on that as a passive.

Oh and if the above dosen't sell you remember this: If she's in space then no boys. Governor Rotbart is a intelligent dad.

1. She has the Governor's Own as bodyguards.
2. Anyone who is in her class has been carefully vetted. IIRC this was mentioned in an update, actually.

So no, she wouldn't need constant watching by her parents given the amount of security she has around her.

Honestly though, it may simply be the case that we pull her entire class along with us to attend their classes on the Ramilies. Their parents would probably be more than happy to allow it, as it's two or three years of their children not being on Avernus.

Being in space doesn't mean no boys, it means Navy boys!

That could possibly work. My other issue with having her in space is that we'd be unable to have Jane tutor her in combat. I'd really like to see her be at least decent with a sword by the time she goes off to naval school or joins the military.

I think you mean she's more *ahem* manly than those types. Navy boys tend to favorite shower time over combat ;)

As for military career..Avernite Army School? Avernite Naval School? Sword Maiden?

I'd personally like her to spend 5 years in each disicipline to see what she likes but...not sure that would work out. Too much of a jack of all trades and actual strneghts is no bueno.

Personally, I'd say a good starting point education would be the Sword Maidens. It'll teach her diplomacy and a bit about intrigue within an organazatin that dosen't care that you are the heiress of a planet (Not sure if she's still a bit on the spoiled side but this will fix that a bit). There is of course the fact that she'll be a swordsmen like us but this last point is..meh? Idk just kinda comes with the name.

From their, she should proceede to the Army Academy to learn strategy and tactics. She's already a mastermind of it but an educational background won't hurt. Plus, with her inner disipline coming out as a Sword Maiden then she may just be one of the greatest students going in and out of the academy.

As for navy..We have Admirals for that right?

Here's and update of my stat analysis post. I will likely be editing it until tomorrow night.

Formula: Net Stats -70
Bold is if I consider it noteworthy, which is +60 or greater.
Dump stats increase the effective stat points, as having low numbers in certain stats can be completely irrelevant based on occupation. A half point means it would be nice to have, but not truly critical. Having a lowing Piety is something of a mixed bag though, as it's usefulness can fluctuate wildly.

Trust Figures: Rankings not including Avernites other than us.
The important thing to know about these rankings is that they are dominated by freaks of nature. Coming in 4th is an actual accomplishment here.

Frederic: +122 base, +155 w/Freya, no dump stat. 1st Martial, 5th Intrigue, 1st Admin, tied 4th Piety, 4th Diplomacy, tied 3rd Combat
We are a monster. This has long been established.

Sigurd: +102, no dump stats. 5th Martial, tied 4th Admin, tied 3rd Diplomacy, 2nd Combat.
Has the highest Base Stats in the entire Trust, and has an average of 24.

Zaren: +30, 3.5 dump stats. 2nd Worst Martial, tied 4th Admin, Worst Combat.
Technically the weakest, but we honestly want a bog standard farmer.

Olaf: +53, 1 dump stat. Tied 4th Intrigue, Worst Admin, 1st Diplomacy.
The low Admin is painful, especially now.

Garp: +90, no dump stat. 2nd Intrigue, 2nd Admin, 4th Learning, Tied Worst Diplomacy.
He's come a LONG way. His Intrigue and Admin are complete bullshit for age.

Aelfric: +73, 1 dump stat. 2nd Martial, 5th combat.
It would seriously help if he had a higher Admin, but it's still positive.

Granalf: +35, 5(!!) dump stats. 2nd highest Learning, Worst Martial, Intrigue, Admin, and Diplomacy
Mix-Maxed to hell, but still a functional Human being. Thank the GEoM he doesn't need to use his Martial, Intrigue, or Admin though.

Surt: ~163, no dump stat. 2nd Martial, 1st Intrigue, 3rd Admin, 1st Learning, 1st Combat.
Ranking assumes the upper end of what we suspect. Almost certainly some form of Immortal.

Lord Varquez: +123 points, no dump stat. 3rd Intrigue, 3rd Learning, 1st Piety, tied 3rd Diplomacy, tied 3rd Combat.
Exactly what you'd expect/want out of a Lord Inquisitor of the Ordo Malleus.

Yang Yinn: +66, no dump stat. 5th Intrigue. 5th Learning, 4th Piety.
She's rather fresh to her position, and it shows.

Admiral Freyr: +56, 2 dump stats. 4th Martial, 5th Diplomacy
Only because the 3 military leaders ahead of him are freaks of nature.

Avernus Advisers: Not including Trust or Military figures.
Frederic: +122 base, +154 w/Freya, no dump stat. 1st Martial, 2nd Intrigue, 1st Admin, 4th Piety, 3rd Diplomacy, 1st Raw Combat

Freya Rotbart: +64 base, +110 with Frederic, 1 dump stat. 2nd Diplomacy.
Substantially less impressive without us though. Martial is good considering her lack of formal military education.

Caroline Vergil: +45, 3 dump stats. 5th Admin, Worst Combat.
She is a Buff Bot. What more can you ask.

Henry Volkiss: +69, 1.5 dump stats. Tied 2nd Admin.
Highest Admin if not for Caroline. And he is STILL a better General than two of our actual Generals

Oakheart: +66, 2.5 dump stats. (close) 4th Intrigue, tied 2nd Combat.
Considering her competition, I'd consider 4th good enough.

Saint Seamus Lin: +148, no dump stat, Tied 4th Admin, 2rd Learning, 1st Piety, 1st Diplomacy, 3rd Combat.
Sainthood turned him into a freak of nature, and blows the entire Trust out of the water in Piety and Diplomacy. STILL a better general than two of our actual Generals

Fabricator General Britton: +65, 1.5 dump stats. Tied 4th Admin, 3rd Learning, 4th Diplomacy.
The Diplomacy is a legitimate achievement for a Tech Priest. Learning and Admin is more than enough to keep on top of things.

Archmagos Tranth: +53, 4(!) dump stats. 1st Learning, 3rd Piety.
Min Maxed in exactly the right way.

Magos Quintus Saren: +41, 2 dump stats. Worst Martial, Tied 5th Learning.
Far more likely to survive than his brother. Comparatively only -3 to research rolls as well

Ridcully: +78, 1.5 dump stats. Tied 4th Martial, 3rd Intrigue, Worst Admin, and 2nd Piety.
He's on par with a rookie Far Seer, of COURSE he's going to be nasty.

Xavier: +86, 1 dump stat. 1st Intrigue, tied 2nd Combat.
Even nastier when he actually uses his Psyker skills.

Avernus Military: Not including other Avernus or Trust figures. Counting Leopold as he currently is.
General Drago: +51, 3.5 dump stats. Tied 4th Martial, 4th Admin, 2nd Combat

Hye Richards: +65, 2 dump stats. 1st Martial, 3nd Admin, Tied 1st Learning
Our 3rd Helltrooper Leader, and is surprisingly close to Pask in terms of effectiveness. Actually has an end Martial bonus +2 higher. The 9 point drop in Admin is disappointing though.

Lucina Eichel: +50, 2 dump stats. Tied 5th Martial, Tied 1st Admin, 5th Combat
Better than Bergen, with a competitive martial and a first rate Admin. Has the lowest Piety on Avernus, but if a Psyker/Warp related problem becomes large enough to warrant her involvement, Fred would deal with it personally.

Samanta Khol: +64, 2 dump stats. 3rd Martial, Tied First Admin, Tied 1st Learning, 1st Piety, Worst Diplomacy.
A younger and gender flipped Drago. Has overcome the worst of her problems.

Paolo Donovan: +48, 1.5 dump stats. Tied 3rd Martial.
Much better than Volkov, with higher stats all around and a martial bonus at least +17 higher at all times. An effective moral -15 lower is effectively nothing this point.

Rebecca Agani: +61, .5 dump stats. 7th (Worst) Martial, 1st Intrigue, 2rd Admin, Tied 2nd Piety,
Has made significant strides. Still the lowest overall Martial, but currently the best Guerilla/Insurgent fighter.

Durant's replacement: Not a clue.
@durin, Did you even announce that he was dead?

Leopold Schwarz: +66 currently, +94 in his prime, no dump stat. 2rd (Raw) Martial. 2nd Intrigue, 1st Diplomacy, 3nd (Raw) Combat
Has the actual highest effective Martial and Combat modifiers.

Callahan Christianson: +47, 1 dump stat. 6th Martial, Tied 2nd Piety
Generally better than Nardoo was, and is only somewhat likely to get himself killed.

Amos Parnell: +51, 3.5 dump stats. Tied 5th Marital, 1st Learning.
Actually uses that Learning on a consistent basis as a Naval Officer. Freya more than covers his lacking Admin. Nice to see him sore up is Intrigue as well.

It says something about Avernus that the average Martial (among people that would actually lead troops) is 27 WITHOUT Fred, the average Combat score (without Caroline) is 27, and that a Combat score of 20 is a notable vulnerability.

His only use for it is to planning for future expansions and campaigns. Henry covers the later, and Khol the former.

just to comfirm, when you ahve two Large shipyards you will be able to build 2 small shipyards as a 7 year action
