Also, just as a reminder, at least once in the next two turns we need to go Dragon Riding or Prowess Training to avoid stress loss. That shouldn't be hard to work out, maybe next turn we could Dragonride Train (and maybe the relax, we need it) and the turn after do some Fighty Training?

I know it's not the focus right now, I just suddenly got a bee in my bonnet about, like. Making sure we juggle all of those balls.
By my count, the commitment deadlines (latest turn we should do something) are currently T16 for Prowess and Syrax Training, T17 for Harp and Law stuff. Meaning, we don't have to do anything the coming T15, but if we don't then two of our actions will be spoken for come T16, and two on T17.

Was the Law stuff added to the list? To clarify, I checked the Diligent list and it didn't yet list Law. Did Teenspirit clarify that now Study Law was on the Diligent Track?

It wasn't added to the Diligent list, but the update said that Lyonel expects us to do Law stuff at least once per three turns. I figure disappointing him is similarly something Rhaenyra wouldn't want.
You have Begun Your Mentorship Under Lord Strong. You Are Expected to Attend Court, Study Law or Speak with Lord Lyonel Strong At Least Once Every Three Turns.

[] Request that all your children have the Name Targaryen, with Qoren's heir taking the Martell name upon succession. (This is a Moderate Request)

[] Request absolute cognatic inheritance of both titles to be spelled out in the agreement. The firstborn inherits the Iron Throne, the secondborn Dorne, regardless of gender. (This is a Moderate Request.

These seem important. We might be able to use Dorne inheritance to compare the Valyrian inheritance differing from Andal succession.

Maybe, but our Stress is starting to actually get... not yet at a worrying level, but close enough that I'm very slightly anxious.

But I'm able to be convinced.
I want to do a Music action and a Qoren conversation in the same turn for the possible synergy of hanging out and playing the new songs we learned with our steadily improving skills. And I want to do a full Dragonstone-Music-Poetry relaxation combo someturn soon. But the marriage conversation with the Hightower siblings is really important to have as soon as possible, Ser Tarly shouldn't be left to watch us court a Dornishman without a word, Laena won't stay in KL forever... In short, I'm falling into the Just One More Productive Turn trap :c

Iirc training with Syrax was relaxing in the past but that was done together with studying Valyrian history with Viserys. I hope it still is even without.

Really hope flying with Syrax and winning duel may be relaxing so Tarly and Laena will be next turn I hope. Qoren-Dragonstone-Music-Poetry combo may be put in turn 16?

Diplomatically the proposal about all our kids having dragon eggs means the heir to Dorne has dragons eggs, which I think might make some people Angry.

Yeah, that request necessarily results in having one dragonrider in Dorne. That is acceptable to me, but yeah, not everyone will be okay with that.

I figure next turn we talk to Tarly and train prowess by beating the shit out of some Dornish nobility for fun. Those two actions for sure.

I'm fine with forcing Dornish succession laws on the Iron Throne lmao, complete win. Ditto for giving dragons to the Dornish heir - it gives Dorne real staying power in Westerosi politics and forces the throne to actually think about the spread of draconic power.

Well, it is true that we don't need to do any training next turn BUT, considering that next turn we should speak with Tarly to avoid letting things fester, and that we don't know how long Laena will remain here so we want to talk to her while we can... It makes sense to take both trianing actions next turn to take advantage of the obvious synergy with the socials...

And with the fifth action obviously being the Hightowers conversation, that leaves just one little flex action, that would very likely go to Maester Orwyle, but I'd like to spend it hanging out with Qoren or... or...

Actually wait, hear me out. T15 we do all the Necessary Stuff + Prepare for a Trip to Dragonstone, then choose the "longer trip next turn" option. T16 we're technically free of obligations, so we go to Dragonstone, study music, and compose poetry for Alicent - might also serve as a reaffirmation of our romantic commitment (and it's been way too long since we started with the poetry!). Would be hard to invite Qoren along tbh, unless we also commute on dragonback mid-turn, since he's busy negotiating...

On the one hand people will talk.

On the other hand we're a goddamn Knight and if they've got a problem with it the dueling yard is right there.
Hard disagree with sending wrong political messages when we don't need to. We can't solve all conflicts with "fuck you I do what I want", or we'll soon stop being able to do what we want.

[x] Plan flaming wedding bells!

-[x] Request absolute cognatic inheritance of both titles to be spelled out in the agreement. The firstborn inherits the Iron Throne, the secondborn Dorne, regardless of gender. (This is a Moderate Request)

-[x] Request that all your children have the Name Targaryen, with Qoren's heir taking the Martell name upon succession. (This is a Moderate Request)

-[x] Ask that all of your children be allowed to claim dragons or given dragon eggs. (This is a Minor Request)

-[x] Until the beginning of spring. (This is a Moderate Request)

Order of importance that I think is necessary. Also we have to remember that this is a negotiation. That means that Viserys will have conditions and that Qoren will have conditions too. So we need viserys to know what is important and it gives us more wiggle room for later by not having too many requests.
Yea solid plan, I'll probably vote for this when the time comes.

Also my stance on him going along on our Progress is that this isn't really something we have to demand now?

Like, in a year or two, if the Progress begins after we are married, we can raise the point then if we care so strongly.

The funny thing about giving the future heir to Dorne a dragon is that they'll have to figure out how to accommodate one long-term on their own :V

Although, well, it would still be only one. Hardly cause for a proper Dragonpit.

[] Plan: Spring Cleaning up the Misogyny
-[] Delay the actual wedding.
--[] Until the beginning of spring. (This is a Moderate Request)
-[] Ask that all of your children be allowed to claim dragons or given dragon eggs. (This is a Minor Request)
-[] Request that all your children have the Name Targaryen, with Qoren's heir taking the Martell name upon succession. (This is a Moderate Request)

Absolute Cognatic succession and all children being Targs are utterly vital to me. Anything else is frankly just sexist bullshit and would just be fucking stupid to not vote for in a quest with a female main character in a misogynistic setting who is EXPLICITLY defiant in rejecting gender roles. Like there's no way that if THIS Rhae was an actual person she wouldn't be putting that on her demands/suggestion list.

Having these two is just accurate roleplay ESPECIALLY with a Dornish suitor where the former is literally the norm.

Higher ranked mum but have dad's name just because he has a penis and possessing a dick being the most important qualifier for rulership is nothing but sexist bullshit.

Like, set of twins, just born, but making the boy heir over the girl? Like at that stage there is literally no difference other than one has a penis and the other doesn't so you are essentially saying the most important qualification in a leader is having a dick because it's the first and strictest one.

I mean I'm personally iffy on "eldest gets it" already because what if younger sibling better but at least that kind of makes sense in that the firstborn HAS to be heir because at that point no guarantee further children and then running into problem of switching heirs later.

(yes I like some meritocracy in my royal succession shut up - designated heir is the best in CK2/3)

[] Plan: Think of the Children!

--[] Until the beginning of spring. (This is a Moderate Request)

-[] Request control over where all your kids, save Qoren's heir, are raised. (This is a Major Request)

I like this but just don't think the last is necessary combined with the "All Children Dragons" and "All Children Targs" and "Absolute Cognatic Inheritance" ones because these combined implicitly means any children would spend most of their time in Kings Landing and Dragonstone. Like, these make Rhae head of the new family unit being created, so obviously they would be where she is based most of the time.

Also I assume Minor/Moderate/Major requests is SOLELY about Viserys feelings re: suggestions vs being dictated to by daughter and not about actual negotiations because as others have said several of these Qoren could either suggest himself or would eagerly want.

Like all children getting dragons Qoren would be over the moon for and absolute cognatic he'd be in favour of as it harmonises Iron Throne succession with Dorne which is big prestige thing.
