Here is a theoretical picture of loafer as a demon king, in the very far future when he becomes annoyingly smug to gain ultimate power. Ignore the hands.

I'm fairly sure we don't have the will left to convince them to back down genericname. Unless we generate more will next turn. ah wait my bad thought you quoted birdsie.
welllll... do we know how much Will a packet of Coffee Jelly is worth? we have a few of those.
(...though mostly, I think 'convince our classmates to let us have King Of Magi+' is an already-included aspect of the King Of Magi+ vote insofar as it's effort-efficient.)

I was talking about a conversation on discord about convincing the two competitors to the role to let athlete get chariot. Hes gonna go for Strength if not which still max compatibility for him but a lot of us want him to have chariot more. Also sad the idiot is arguing for chariot when the fool exists.

[] Idea: The Fool, Harpocrates

All and nothing. Zero. Beginnings. Emanation. Deity. Creation. Air. Breath. Silence. Nascence. Folly and madness vs holy wisdom. Innocence. Ignorance. Going forth.

Embodiment of the God Name of Kether, the highest sephirot of the Tree of Life. Eheieh - "I will be".

The Fool is associated with Harpocrates, the Unborn son of Isis and Osiris. He is, All the potential. He is the God of the Sun at its Dawning, the light that emerges from the darkness. The Child God, the God of Silence, the God of Beginnings.

A Thousand Face: adapt their Role based on the demands of the moment evoking the Path of Chokmah (Wisdom) Focus on an unknown skill and learn at super prodigious pace as they practice. The Path dictates they must seek, so the Fool must seek new skills, leaving behind the old save for a few glimmers of wisdom.

Omens: Shadow of Ammit looms over unforeseen perils, just out of sight waiting for its chance. A pale dog, manifestation of Intuition leaps along the Fool's path bounding towards roads not taken, chasing the possibilities of Glory.

Harpocrates's Veil: When invoked, become cloaked to direct observational perception that rely on sight, hearing, or other esoteric senses. The World forgets until the veil tears from the strain of actions enacted, unmarked in the ledger of Time.

Firmament's Fortune: At critical junctures, flips one of the blue coins of Fate.. It lands on the face of Triumph or Doom, then slips down lost to the abyss of Da'at. The Fool will soar, or fall (Roll for Nat 20 or Crit Fail)

Ain Soph Aur: All things must cycle back to the beginning. Unleash the spectral maw of Fenris to devour, reverting anything or anyone back to the state from which it originally emerged.
Fenris will always return to the Fool, to take a bite. Something the Fool created unmade in retribution.

Limitations: The Fool must embody their archetype at all times, lest the Fates themselves decide to make a fool of him. Misfortune will dog at their every step unless they rectify and danse.

They must laugh even as they cry. Haunted by the shadow of Ammit that looms closer and closer.. The pale dog at times will step into the path of the awaiting crocodile. And one day, he will run out of the coins of Fate before his journey's end.
thats stupid its among the best roles. Also he went into some of its other qualities too?

An end stage Fool. While being All the potential, it could be that it's because it's pretty arduous. People would hesitate to subject themselves into being the butt of the joke of the universe, when there are other less complicated Roles.

A small update, which I would appreciate were it spread to the thread: my PC is broken and currently under repairs. As such my ability to write is severely curtailed until at least Monday.

little bit more time in the mines, this shift. push and we can make it to 25 effective. quick, argue like your heart will give if you don't

The Hermit (lore post)

The wayfarer. The Journey inside. Journeys of ascent and descent. Illumination. Carrying the light within. The heights and the depths.
Knowledge as medicine. Light in dark corners: interpreter of clues and symbols, Diviner. The Ninth Key. The Prophet of the Eternal.

"Where I am, you also may be.."

He is Yod, meaning the Hand - the first letter of the name Tetragrammaton, the Father who is Wisdom. Logos, Word of the Creator of all worlds. He represents that vast potential power to create. Thus he bears the title, Magus of the Voice of Light. Wielder of The secret fire.

He stands alone in a vast desert atop a cliff holding a lantern - the single source light in the dark. The desert is the crystallization of Binah, the dark endless sea of consciousness. His cloak billows in the wind. Red from the womb of this Deep where all potentials gestate and take form. The sign of Yod upon his brow.

While the archetypical Fool gazes up at the distant heavens from the same perch, the Hermit stares down at abyss of Da'ath below. In his lantern blazes a six-pointed golden sun, emblem of Tiphareth. He holds it aloft like a beacon piercing the darkest corners of the depths, illuminating secrets grand and small. His golden staff seeking out the truth, heralding the dawn of enlightenment.

~Wander alone; bearing the Light and thy Staff.
And be the Light so bright that no man seeth thee.
Be not moved by aught without or within:
keep Silence in all ways.~

For what? Everything is already understood. And people don't really want to speculate.
Simple. All we need is a new topic. I propose numbers! Some people say the Magician is role 1 and the fool is role 0 and so on, and so that they should have access to abilities befitting being number 1 or number 0. Now, this isn't all that strong of an argument, but it is an argument nonetheless. and our Magician role is implicitly shooting for number 1 in terms of excellence. So let's talk about it! What does '1' symbolise, what does '0' symbolise, are there any other interesting numbers of relevance? Some other numbers we might want to consider are 7, of the Chariot, 8(sometimes 11), of Justice, 9, of Hermit, and 11 (sometimes 8) of Strength, since those are roles important characters are likely to get(less so Chariot).

One thing that sticks out from this number list is that Strength and Justice sometimes swap numbers. This suggests both have equivalent (or directionally-inverted) numerological properties, and are generally connected in some way. Since Strength goes from 11 to 8, Strength can be considered '-3'; conversely, Justice can be thought of as '+3'. 3 is, of course, a number with a lot of symbolic meanings, including the illuminati, triangles as the simplest polygon, the trinity which-is-relevant-to-our-upperclassmen-mostly, and so on. Focusing in on one aspect of this, the illuminati are conspiracies. This suggests Strength destroys conspiracies, and Justice founds them; though one could argue 3 is the symbol of the illuminati being detected, not of the illuminati Per Se, so that Strength instead conceals conspiracies and Justice Reveals them.

Or it may be 22. Because its unnumbered card - can be on both ends of the deck.

What Is the magic number again? 7?
Well, if you psychologist, than 7 ± 2 means how many things you may store in you short-term memory. It is a magic number, but for different reasons in different places.

Edit: Discussions are dead! :V

Edit 2: Just got one silly idea... Maybe I should write it down.

Unknowable unknown

The concept of an Epistemologist as an ultimate infohazard raises intriguing possibilities. Epistemologists, being experts in knowledge and information, possess the ability to render themselves unknowable and impossible to perceive. By manipulating the very fabric of perception, they can make themselves non-existent and unknown to others. This unique power ensures that no harm can come their way, as one cannot be harmed by something not aware of them. In essence, if others are unaware of their lack of knowledge about the Epistemologist, the Epistemologist remains perfectly safe. By erasing any evidence or traces that could point to their existence and actions, they effectively shield themselves from any potential threats. This ability to obscure their own existence can be seen as the ultimate form of self-preservation. By operating in a realm of perpetual anonymity, the Epistemologist can navigate the world without fear, as their very presence becomes an enigma. Unknowable unknown.

Even before we were enrolled in the Class by the Educator, I had pondered the concept of ultimate defense. When my friend once upon a time asked me how I envisioned it, I responded with a simple yet profound idea: "Being completely unknown." Little did I know that this notion would align perfectly with the Theme of our class, sparking a plan in my mind. I understood what my friend desired and the plot they were devising. With this knowledge, I devised a plan to assist him independently, driven by our shared goal. This is how I assumed my Role as an Epistemologist. It was during this time that I witnessed the faintest glimmer of fear in the eyes of my closest friend, marking the second instance since we had become acquainted. But he was too immersed in his own plan, tried too hard and forgot that I was next to him. Planning things too. People always forget about me - even geniuses. No matter how brilliant he was - still a man. The fear quickly dissipated as people began to adopt their own Roles and act as if I had never existed. From the moment I embraced the role of an Epistemologist, I became invisible to them.

Upon assuming the Role of an Epistemologist, my first course of action was to render any knowledge about me unattainable. Later on I teach myself and then diligently retrieved any leaked information pertaining to my existence, effectively erasing any trace of me from the collective consciousness and retroactively making the world forget. Henceforth, I existed solely as an invisible observer, perfectly safe and isolated – just as I had desired. While many discuss the greatness and horror of the Metaphysicist, the one who aided in executing the plan remains an unspoken figure. It is widely known that the Metaphysicist never had a best friend, as if it were a predetermined fact. This deliberate omission ensures the success of the plan. Even the Metaphysicist himself remains unaware of his guardian angel, as this lack of knowledge serves as an additional failsafe. An unknowable unknown, capable of rectifying any unforeseen issues in a manner that even Fate itself would be oblivious to. In this intricate web of secrecy and manipulation, I stand as the silent orchestrator, hidden in the shadows. My purpose is to safeguard the plan, ensuring its seamless execution.

As I traverse the world, my journey takes me through the vast realm of information. I follow the currents that flow through the lines of books, digital screens, and sometimes even the strokes of a painting. Every form of knowledge becomes my window into observation. Yet, amidst this vast expanse, the only evidence of my existence lies in a phrase that echoes incessantly in my mind: "Cogito, ergo sum" - I think, therefore I am. Even when I find myself needing to interact with the physical world, there is no trace left behind. Any evidence of my presence vanishes, intentionally distorted to become entangled with the laws of cause and effect, linking it to something else entirely. Nobody has ever opened that door - you simply forgot to close it. All existing and imaginable evidence pointing to this fact - it is truth. No one was present at the scene - there is no trace behind. Not in the present, not in the past, not in the future.

Occasionally, I do experience moments of solitude and loneliness in this existence. However, I have grown accustomed to such feelings and have come to appreciate the tranquility it brings. Surrounded by my cherished books and films, I find solace and a sense of security. If the need arises, I am prepared to defend my dear friend with unwavering loyalty. As an Epistemologist, I embody the essence of an unknowable unknown, forever hidden from your memory. Because I chose to be.

I just got this small idea in my head. So I just let it be there, because I don't know where to place it and its itchy for my brain. What if Metaphysicist have a friend, but no one able to find out about their existence anymore? Because it would be difficult for him to carry out his ideas all alone from the very beginning. But it's much easier when he has an invisible guardian angel on his side.

Good point. There are 22 connections between Sephirot, and although the Tarot's origin isn't of the kabbalah, by it having been treated as such 'Tarot as currently understood' takes up part of that meaning; so comparisons based on that are valid. The 22 connections of the Sephirot are completion, the whole of reality, the entirety of its structure. Not befitting of the fool, one might say- but the fool, after all, isn't just 22- it's 0 or 22, either equally... and so we circle back to the original argument that the Fool is a high-potential role than goes from nothing to completion :P

Maybe 0 at the start of the path and 22 at the end. These are simply two states: potential and its final development.
