The Galaxy is Flood, Not Food

That poor Inquisitor having everything go to hell that fast and with no warning, why a lot a powerful people that already hated her might be able to use this as an excuse to kill her if she can't fix Genestealer problem fast enough.
If only she had a convenient solution that would kill every Genestealer and leave her forces and any surviving civilians, and most importantly any industry unharmed.

Tide: …Why the fuck am I infecting an entire hive on the other side of the planet?
Also Tide: Yay free Bio mass.

What I find hilarious about the Orks, possibly more than anything else, is the fact that their WAAAGH field abilities work better the dumber they are. For example, a group of Orks that boarded a Necron ship which, it should be noted, was completely empty of any trace of breathable atmosphere, were entirely fine because they just... didn't notice they were fighting in a vacuum.

Its really funny because this was likely not at all the intent by the Old Ones when making them. Because we've seen the stronger the Orks get the smarter they get as well. Krorks would be super intelligent, savants of battle and technology, but this would make them worse with their waaagh ability. Because a Krork would have realized the necron ships are unpressurized and died or been forced to create special equipment beforehand to deal with the problem.
That's not entirely accurate. The Krork were fully cognizant of the Waagh field and it's effects, and were more than capable of actively and consciously manipulating it.

Basically, the Krork are an entire race of Primarchs that don't have to rely on the Warp directly to empower themselves and were made by a race of God-Emperors who actually knew what they were doing and had a love for Rule of Cool.

That's not to say the Waagh field isn't acting oddly. It certainly doesn't seem like it was ever intended to act on subconscious desires or enable an Ork's delusions. Rather, a Krork would have had to consciously affect himself with Waagh energy to operate safely in a vacuum (not an unheard of thing - the Primarchs and some Psykers can do this too).

Ork's being able to breath in space simply because they're too dumb or occupied to realise they can't is the weird shit. It is almost as if the Waagh field is some what conscious and actively trying to protect and aid the Orks.

Well it is. Gork and Mork do exist and are one of the main reasons the Four can't do anything to orks. Because there are more orks than other sapient species in the Milky Way put together. Everyone should be eternally thankful that orks prefer to fight by themselves without heavily leaning on their gods. Because when it comes down to punching someone in the face Gork and Mork maybe even better than Khorne at it because they are Brutal and Cunning.

Wouldn't surprise me if after Necrons gone to sleep Krorks decided to downscale their intelligence and offload a good chunk of their powers on Gork and Mork just so that galaxy would have a sporting chance and fights wouldn't be so boring. A self imposed handicap to make the game more challenging and interesting.

Would also explain why orks progress so fast when met with decent opposition.

Tide: "Weary are the muscles, unused to their new found liberty. I stretch myself and feel the exciting tingling of the air against my limbs. I roll my burdened shoulders, relief flooding my senses as I bask in my victory. Come Inquisitor, join me for supper to a new future. Let our cups runeth over with new possibilities and enjoy true sweetness. But our work is never done, our galaxy requires healing and to close the tear I have the right suture."

(rhyming is hard :( )

There's probably a tipover point where Krorks become intelligent enough to do this intentionally rather than accidentally, and probably more efficiently, e.g. modifying themselves rather than paying an upkeep cost or something.

I just realized that we have seen only how the tyranids react to subtler versions of infection. like the spores that take their time with infection. we have not seen how a tyranid bio form might react to a full infection form or even just a claw or bite mark from one of the infected.

"If this is an ancient Terran bioweapon and panacea, why is it TAKING CORPSES!?"
"Well, it's also sucking up sewage so uh.... bioweapon, panacea, and recycling plant?"

"Inquisitor, yes it seems to be a very versatile organism, but that is quite in line with creations blessed by the Omnissiah! Furthermore, it has assured me that it is up to nothing nefarious at all!"
"IT CAN TALK!?!"

What about the Corpse Starches used as rations for the Imperial Guard?

"Its just a bit hungry, don't worry about it."

Yes, and its quite intelligent as well! All it wants are the corpses and sewage waste, it needs them for Biomass to grow, it explicitly says it doesnt want or have a need for souls!

Also, I recently purchased Halo Infinite's campaign and finished it today and, I gotta say, I loved it. The story was just alright imo, but the gameplay was top tier. However, what I'm in love with most are definitely the Banished designs, especially for their vehicles. To be honest, I was never really a fan of the Covenant's aesthetic when it came to their vehicles and ships. I like sleek, but I think they took it too far. They're not bad designs by any means, don't get me wrong, just not really my cup of tea. They do a good job of showing just how much more advanced the Covenant is than the UNSC.

But the Banished vehicles and ship, oh, I am in love. They take the alien feeling of Covenant designs and add just enough of a brutish twist to make it feel both practical and beautiful. My favorite is probably either their new capital ships or the Ghosts. They really fit the aesthetic of the Banished, who are scavenging for parts on this ring, really well, making their equipment a hybrid between UNSC and Covenant designs.

Also the red paint with color accents. While the solid purple fit the Covenant's feeling of self-assured supremacy, I think that weakened their designs for me. The Banished red is beautiful though.

Alright, fanboying over, just needed to talk about this.

Infinite could be better but yea its just a pity that they just re-used the same old Covenant vehicles, which isn't bad but I was disappointed that there wasn't any new one taken from Halo War 2. It would have been fun driving a reaver or a marauder around or even fight the special units for the Elite Target instead of just a recolored enemy with bigger damage/health.

Only thing i disliked about Infinite was the lack of the Flood. same with 4 and 5

My biggest issue with the more recent halo games. My greatest peeve with Halo Wars 2 was that they had the Flood, but it wasn't a playable faction.

Halo Infinite having Flood Spartan skins is fine, but I wish we got more lore and campaigns for them. I think I would have preferred the return of the Flood as the story for Halo Infinite over the whole thing with the Endless. Maybe something connected to Awakening the Nightmare from Halo Wars 2 since the Banished are involved? Or have Cortana sacrifice herself to stop the Flood, who are revealed to have been the reason she went crazy cuz of Logic Plague.

I might just have to write an alternative story for Halo Infinite, huh...

EDIT: I should add, my greatest wish is a Halo game with playable Spartan, Elite, and Flood combat or pure form. And I mean more than just a cool looking skin for the Flood, but actual Flood abilities. Just multiplayer would be fine, but if they ever did that for a campaign, maybe where a Spartan got infected by the Flood and is sent on playable missions by the Gravemind, who is talking with the Spartan throughout the missions almost like a twisted version of Chief and Cortana, I would give 343 all of my money to get that.

I Would GLADLY Play that story. and halo wars Flood factions? HELL YEAH!!!

Unfortunately the flood would require an M rated game and none of the microsoft and 343i suits are willing to give up a T rating.
