The Galaxy is Flood, Not Food

Counterpoint: She could continue doubling down on paranoia until she ends up going full Monodominant Brainworms

I know it wasn't meant but all I can imagine is tide as a massive centipede crawling all over the place 100's of feet long. No clue why but it just seems over the top and edgy just like 40k

Oh also the fact you may make the covenant in 40k is the most beautiful thing ever, the elites and humans if the imperial don't just shoot first could actually probs become really good friends or atleast not always at war with one another like everyone else and the brutes or jackels could be really good counters to anyone who points their big stick... I still have trauma over those jackel snipers on legendary.

Odd ideas for the Sisters of Battle.

So, would you consider having them either equipped with a symbiote or able to turn into this?

Saryn Prime
Because with Tides version of the this Warframes abilities,

"Spores" to further spread the Flood, "Molt" to use as a healing agent and distraction (perhaps it moves on its own for a short time?), "Toxic Lash" which in-game adds toxin damage to your weapons, here it could infuse both Flood spores and very nasty toxins/poisons/acid's onto the weapons projectiles.

Some other Warforms to consider.

Grendel

Very scary meatball belly mouth boi. The idea of a rolling, heavily armoured and durable ball of flesh chasing you or slamming into your defensive line, only to unfurl and start shoving your comrades into its Belly Mouth is horrifying.

Agreed.

Tide making the Covenant Races as a smokescreen and a puppet to mask his movements is awesome.

As for the giant centipede, tbh I kinda pictured a mixture of a Thresher Maw, and Elder Centipede from OPM

Honestly, the centipede thing isn't far off from what the Gravemind is doing by crawling down the Underhive. Only, hundreds of feet long is selling it vastly, *vastly* short. It's closer to the tens of kilometers range at this point

With the spacehulk consumed i imagine it will be a massive boost to tide size

Easily a few billion orkz (on top of the already exist 1 or 2 billions tide had)

Bit more than halfway through the 10 billion mark for keymind

Plus whatever biomass growth he earns from ork spores

So correct me if I'm wrong, but the actual flood is a neural physics thing, and the spores only connect it to reality. If that's true, could Tide make a fake STC of modified spores that DO act like Panacea, but eventually form a Gravemind for easy expansion?

Warhammer 40k galaxy is comparatively densely populated. There are very few uninhabited systems and planets that would be able to support Tide spores. He may be able to get away with doing some specialized colonization modules but he will need the information on the planets that he wants to colonize first and it will be a major effort.

A lot of planets that were borderline capable of supporting life were terraformed by Old Ones, Eldar or Humans and then settled.
That and the good old "life is cheep, those who survive work another day. Those who die are turned into food." by the imperial colony management who will send anyone to some random ass world and have them build it up with the bear minimum. Even if it can't support any kind of human life they got something set up, hoping that someone mutates not only to live easier there so less is needed to keep people alive but so they can also work the 'in-human' harder. Life sure does work in mysterious ways.

Depends if he has an STC to use. I don't mean like 'new' one but one at all so he can bace this fake STC on it. He probably not just for the fact the adeptus Mechanicus is really good at figuring out if this shit is fake or not. LIke they test everything on and what its made out of to see if they can find out where it was and if there were others that may have been near by. Like they won't damage it but the search does come first.

Hive World Monstrum Description (Chapter 18)

Hive World Monstrum:

Deimos - The capital of the Hive World of Monstrum. Deimos is the headquarters of Inquisitor Catherine Ellen and her unstable seat of power. Deimos is also the home of the Order of the Cleansing Rains, a chapter of Adeptas Sororitas. Population of ~35 Billion. Underground tunnels connect to Lamashtu, Moros, and Mania.

Lamashtu - Population of ~30 Billion. Underground tunnels connect to Deimos, Ate, and Moros.

Mania - Population of ~32.5 Billion. Underground tunnels connect to Deimos, Moros, and Whiro.

Ate - Population of ~27 Billion. Underground tunnels connect to Lamashtu and Eris.

Moros - Population of ~29 Billion. Underground tunnels connect to Deimos, Lamashtu, Mania, and Malum.

Whiro - A city recently garrisoned by eight Imperial Guard regiments, readying its defenses against the Genestealers from the South. Population of ~26 Billion. Underground tunnels connect to Mania and Enyo.

Eris - Population of ~24.5 Billion. Underground tunnels connect to Ate and Dolus.

Malum - The location Tide first emerged in and the adopted home of his Gravemind. Fully infected and altered by Tide. Population of ~30 Billion. Underground tunnels connect to Moros, Janus, and Limos, but its connection to Limos was severed by the Genestealers planting explosives that destroyed the tunnels.

Enyo - A city at war between the Imperium and the Genestealers. Population of ~25 Billion(?). Underground tunnels connect to Whiro and Limos.

Dolus - A city where dark forces lurk beneath the surface, scheming and plotting. Population of ~24 Billion. Underground tunnels connect to Eris and Janus.

Janus - A city where dark forces lurk beneath the surface, scheming and plotting. Population of ~23 Billion. Underground tunnels connect to Malum and Dolus.

Limos - The heart of the Genestealer Cult. Almost its entire population has been converted into drones of the Broodmind. Population of ~26 Billion. Underground tunnels connect to Malum and Enyo, but its connection to Malum was severed by the Genestealers planting explosives that destroyed the tunnels.

The Barren Lands - The lands along the equator of Monstrum on the side that faces the sun. Due to a lack of sufficient atmospheric cover, these areas are too hot to live in. The only way to cross these areas is either through specially made equipment rated to survive the heat or through one of three tunnels that connect various hive cities and are able to withstand the sun's constant gaze. The land here is a barren desert, ranging from vast plains of sand to craggy rocks.

The Freezing Wastes - Lands covered by smog and lacking even the slightest bit of warmth from the sun, the Freezing Wastes are even more dangerous than the Barren Lands. The cold here is deadly to almost any form of life, but it is said there are creatures dwelling in the ash-mixed snow that have adapted to survive. These predators are said to be territorial and few who enter the Wastes ever return.

And now, I bring you a super-duper-high-quality map that I definitely spent more than an hour making. Courtesy of Inkarnate.

Anyways, I thought having a map showing the various parts of Monstrum would be helpful, since just words can be hard to go off of.

Don't forget the orks who are problay having a great time in the barren lands and the Freezing wastes.
The Freezing Wastes might actually be a bit much; Orks do fine in extreme heat, but they aren't so great in extreme cold, and if there are already nasty things living in the cold it might be too much for the Orkoid ecosystem to handle in the short term.

(In the long term there will be no issue, Orks eventually adapt to anything, but that's decades if not centuries down the line.)

So what I'm hearis is that your a Git
-Snowns orks

the new spores make the frozen wastes seem a great place to settle down

His spores are already in the amosphere and spreading as result of the fight against the orkz on the outskirst of monstrum

what stops tide from sending a canister with flood forms into the snow wastes as a insurance?

So the barren lands are limited to only one side of Monstrum which is a tidally locked planet?

Is the Freezing wastes then on the other side? Because from the map it looks like the Barren lands are nearly equatrial.
