The Firestorm: A crossover invasion game. Looking for a 40k faction player.

With all these high tech factions my poor dorfs better figure out how to make epic-tier runic items again- or they're going to be in a world of hurt.

Umm, to be honest, I don't plan on much aggressive expansion. My sheet is specced for peace, trading, and espionage, not wars of conquest.

Personally, my sheet is specced for expansion and defense, but not for outright assault. Research of anything too fantastic should also be of issue for them.

I'm going to be trying to expand while also engaging in a fair bit of diplomacy. Though I admit that I have a few forces I'm a bit hesitant to really engage. At the same time I'm going to be trying to innovate quite a bit and try to improve and potentially adapt other faction's useful tech into Diamond Shark equipment if possible.

Yeah the Closest competition to me are Sylvanus and a blob that just Says Lizardfolk, and they are both on the continent to my south, across an ocean and away from the coast. Meanwhile I've got a fairly large Island to myself not counting whatever single-hex NPC's are also there. . .I think I should be good on Expansion.

Skynet may not be diplomatic but it also is good at telling when a alliance of convenience is needed.

Mostly humans other life it may be willing to work with on a very limited basis. Not syaing it'd be allies for good just until it thinks it has the upperhand.

Well, Skynet never struck me as the extremely reasonable type when it came to allying with people. It'd probably make more sense for them to try and find some way to cling on while preparing a sort of Gotterdammerung or second Judgement Day on just about everyone to make things easier.
