The Chaos Founding

I'm not understanding all the Abaddon hate in the slightest. Would someone explain, please?
Abaddon is just a very hateable bad guy. Like he act like he's the only competent person in the galaxy while failing almost every time. And the only time he succeeded is when the writer went "We know he looks competent BUT he was actually failing on purpose so he can he grab these mcguffins so he can win!" Then he had to throw them into the Cadia because he was losing. Also he believes he's not being controlled by Chaos, but infact using them instead.

Also, he is a idiot who unironically believes that only Space Marines should rule and normal Humans should serve them
I actually think this is the thing that makes the most sense about Abaddon. After all chaos is very much a survival of the fittest type thing and Abaddon's philosophy fits that to a t. I do agree with you on the other stuff but I think Abaddon's view that Astartes should rule over humans make sense character wise.

So, the main three reasons for disliking him are:

1.) Author favouritism.
2.) His belief that he is using chaos rather than being corrupted by it.
3.) His belief in Astartes supremacy.

I can't say that I can bring myself to consider any of these to be bad enough to warrant us designing a warband around making his life worse. Honestly, I'm half-tempted to design a warband around making his efforts easier, but that'd be petty and futile.

I mean there is also the thing of how he is REALLY bad at his job, like yeah the in universe stuff may say how he is totally winning and got a master plan, but the man failed over twelve times to do his one goal "Kill the Imperium" and he only got through this latest one by throwing a fit and crashing an irreplaceable piece of ship technology into a planet and blew it up. Could not take it the last twelve times, now no one gets it.

in short, while other Chaos folk may be "Worse" and Worse in action, Abby is very much someone no Fan of Warhammer takes seriously as Chaos's Main guy.

I call this quest chain the 'everyone hates that guy' chain because it all revolves around notable Chaos figures that the rest of chaos hates.
If we ever pick that one. Can they kidnap him and send him to Khan? He probably escaped by the skin of his teeth but hearing a story where Erebus gets chased by a really Angry Khan will be hilarious lol.

[X] Plan: Scourge Kings
-[x] The Usurpers (100 Power Unlock): The Great Four have noticed Abbadon, heir of the title of Warmaster, has been playing games with them, manipulating them against each other to gain yet greater power. While this isn't enough for him to lose their favor outright, for he was chosen as Horus's heir for no small purpose, some of their Greater Daemons have decided that perhaps a…. "second favorite", as it were, may be in order, to keep him on his toes if nothing else...

-[x] Loyalist Gene-Seed: Though it is extremely hard to get ahold of, even a small sample of Loyalist Gene-Seed would make you capable of creating a Warband from their stock. Write in loyalist Legion to unlock, 35 Points for each unlocked due to sheer difficulty of acquiring it. (Ultramarines)

-[X] Better Support: This Warband is more heavily equipped than average, or has more allies than expected. Spend 1 charge to give the warband an extra Equipment/Ally choice. 5 Points.

-[X] Concentrated Corruption: The concentrated essence of the corruptive power of Chaos itself. Use 1 Charge to roll an extra time on the patron trait list. This can also be used for Chaos Undivided, as well as non-standard patrons that may show up as the result of a specific contract. 5 Points. X4

60 points.

-[] Silver Towers of Tzeentch:

Lets give the elves flying wizard towers and draconic guardians.

[] Plan: Hell's repo team
-[ ] Relic Hunting: Your favorite Sons of Horus have returned with another request - this time, they desire a Warband that can locate and retrieve the many Chaos artifacts within the Eye before the Black Legion can claim them for themselves.
-[ ] Better Support:
This Warband is more heavily equipped than average, or has more allies than expected. Spend 1 charge to give the warband an extra Equipment/Ally choice. 5 Points.x2
-[ ] Concentrated Corruption: The concentrated essence of the corruptive power of Chaos itself. Use 1 Charge to roll an extra time on the patron trait list. This can also be used for Chaos Undivided, as well as non-standard patrons that may show up as the result of a specific contract. 5 Points.x2
-[ ] Land Raiders: This Warband has access to corrupted Land Raiders, powerful engines of war that double as transports. 15 Points.
-[ ] Basic Daemonic Pact: This Warband has a pact that lets them call upon the Lesser Daemons of the dark gods, such as Bloodletters or Plague Bearers, with relative ease. 5 Points.

This leaves 20 points for the next warband but should still allow brazen robbery retrieval of valuable artifacts

I belive creating The Usurper will provide us 100 power? Or its only for this round and we could waste 100 point as we wish this turn?

i'm personally fine with waiting till we get a Warband for each of the Four before we do The Usurpers, just need two more of Khorne and Tzeentch. Just feels more thematic and gives them maybe a chance for allies from each of the Four

It was mentioned that our Warbands respect each other, due to being formed by and informally serving 6-1.
-Iron Overlords: Due to both Warbands being indirectly sworn in service to 6-1, their enigmatic creator, the Indigo League maintain cordial relations with the Iron Overlords, often trading exotic Sessetium chemicals for advanced technology and useful metallic compounds from the Iron Overlords.
So, yeah...We could actually create our own Black Legion that will create their own domain in The Eye of Terror and beyond.

Failbaddon will seethe so much, LOL.
