-[X] "Uhhh...what happened to this place? Is it even safe to go inside?"
-[X] "Kinda low on energy, any thoughts on how to improve that before doing anything else?"
-[X] "Is it possible at all to revive those that are lost using the halos? I mean I died before and came back to a big coffin after all, granted I didn't become a Eishalon, but would it be worth a try? Assuming you haven't tried already in the past."
-[X] "Would you be willing to be my guide through this place or do I have to go about this on my own?"

[X]"Is that a giant Glimmercite crystal?"
-[X]"Also I seem to be at like... 2 energy. Um, help?"

This is like the central hall of Hephaestus from Bioshock, where Ryan displayed the bodies of his former advisors.

Except here, it's meant as a show of respect.

The more I learn about Daeva, the more I'm amazed that he isn't more deranged than he is.

Based on the Statusventory, when a ghost becomes an Eishalon, the formation of the latter involves devouring and destroying all components of the former. Nothing of the original personality remains beyond cosmetic detritus.

You can't turn a pile of ashes back into a tree.

The Red Cross is Glitchy! All the more reason to take one!

EDIT: Er, nevermind, they're huge.

A minor detail that I noticed that is creepy, is that the flesh of Eishalons does not rot away(the Star Flesh that Deva was talking about in the update).

Well, rot only happens to things that get eaten by bacteria, or dessication when it dries out.

I think they're made of spirit stuff, so if there's nothing very tiny that eats spirit stuff, it's just gonna kinda be there until something else happens.

*Read's about the Coronal Relic*

Holy crap! :o

I'm surprised it's still here.

Also the news that a ghost is always moving towards becoming an Eishalon is rather worrying...

Edit: Also worrying is that there's something else messing with our stat screen...

@Inglorien , I think the Red faction developed the ability to mess with the Statusventory while they were killing the Orange ghosts off. Whatever is blocking info there is clearly Red in origin and we know that aspects of the Menu were standard for Citrech Corp, so it seems a fairly logical conclusion.

We already knew that ghosts were always moving towards eisholon(we need to eat after all). More concerning is the fact that the Reds didn't take the consumables with them. Most concerning is that all of the corpses except Holly's have a Coronal Relic nearby. Unless Dex made a mistake or there's some perspective issue, which is unlikely, something took one of the relics, and might come back for more.

Another theory is that those things are in the Red's archive of doodads and thingymibobs but not in the Orange's archives. Like their Daeva has access to it but not ours, so when we try to access it, the Red Daeva pulls a 'hahahah lol no' on us

wait.....what are those sphere things all the corpses have?
Coronal Relics I'd guess.

They've got the Ghosts' Haloes in them.

EDIT: And that's disgusting. Well, we know one thing we can use Red's Coronal Relic for. I wish we didn't.

...

We can eat it to fully recharge our Spirit Meter.

Makes me a little sick just thinking about it. Beautifully morbid world-building, Dex.

[X] Scan Everything!

i don't want to add to dex's workload unnecessarily but i honestly feel like this'll be our default behaviour...

uhh. honest question, but; @Dexexe1234 is it possible to trigger anything through scanning it? i feel like it wouldnt due to the nature of 'we see it, check if hearth has it, if hearth has it, thing unlocked! if hearth doesnt have it, new thing goes in hearth!', but... yeah. Thought i should check. Is it possible for something to know it's been scanned? Or being scanned? If we got scanned, would we know?

The Dimling became startled when it was scanned by us, meaning that yeah, it's pretty obvious when you get scanned. It's a rough tingling sensation that goes from your feet to your head in a rippling motion.

...We should probably find where that came from, shouldn't we? Oh well, first the dirt, and then getting eaten by a chair!
