Since I've figured out where the SD card slot on my laptop is, I can take pictures of my drawings instead of copying them in MS Paint.

hm. on one hand, while I do want to participate in this, I'm rather shit at art, and doing a fanfic of Terrene Spire is rather... difficult with how little we've seen of it so far. On the other hand, making an entry of one of the prizes might... work? Hm.

Hrrrm yeah I was very worried about this. There really isn't enough known about Terrene Spire to really spin the gears and sink in the teeth of creativity.

How about this: It's perfectly fine to accept "what if"s and potential situations! Try planning out the world map! Come up with some local fauna or flora! Try to explain how the mechanics of rain works here? OR maybe I should have waited with this damn contest till later. Hrm. I am sorry this is a bit of a mess everyone.
 
Eh, I wouldn't worry about it honestly. There's enough here for a variety of what if's and the like, and the characters have enough personality you could do a decent amount with them. It's just that they're not going to be interacting with aspects unique to the world. For example, Zest's Birthday is a perfectly doable event. Star Him, Shrub and Daeva and you're gold. Simple mind, and there'll be some leaps, but doable.
 
when i get around to it I am totally going to try make a hero. I know it's the prize, but it's a kinda thing just like the design and eishalon that can also be used as an entry format, right?

Neh, the ghost factions can be attached one to one with the lantern rings, right? Red anger, orange greed (why SV is Zesty), yellow fear, green willpower, blue hope, indigo compassion, violet love? And grayscale is knowledge with my books. If so, BIV isn't getting a new story each, as they would willingly work together, so Green is the only missing story, and Boy is it going to be HAMMY! I'm probably going to recompile the pieces of the story with my new post, and mark off the edited, and new section. Zest fight is Zesty, but will remain unwritten until such time that such a fight could occur.
 
Alright fellow questers, I'm not entering the contest proper (I've already collaborated with Dex a few months ago on a character we may or may not meet in this adventure), but I didn't want to leave the one year anniversary of this quest unheralded.

Then I remembered our dear GM was quite the Jojo Fan, so I figured why not make my good friend a stand of his very own?

Nah man, I like it! We know enough of the world to make meaningful creations, but there isn't so much lore set down that it's restricting. I haven't posted anything about it, but I'm definitely working on my entry!

Cataclysm, despair, and death
Taints a world not their own
They fight for ownership spreading war and death
They fight for control for lands never their's
The ground is covered in ruins and bones
From a war by alien hands
They unleash monsters, and machines made to kill
Because of there machines a child now lies dieing
But a hero is out to save him
From the cold embrace of death
As soon as that Hero is done with dancing
And has completed the tutorial

Work's been making me do double shift nearly everyday this past week so I've just now got around to coloring my re-entries much less starting on the new ones. The gap may be a bit long but it's needed on my end.
 
Whatever you think will work best! I have an entry in progress, and I suspect other people do too, so I'm guessing there will be at least a few more Fanworks coming your way as it gets closer to the deadline. But if you don't think now is a great time, then for sure, put the contest on hold! Even if that means that Terrene Spire will go to sleep for a while, that's okay! We don't mind waiting.
 
Pause if you think it's worth it. Don't think there's any harm in letting it go on, but if you're feeling it's a bit awkward timing wise pausing is perfectly fine.
