Taking the Mickey: A Save Disney Quest

Previously I remember that Slynnwen was luke warm about comics exploration, so not sure if we will get that option

Honestly while I loved Charcolt's quest and see a lot of the same faces here as were frequent over there, I'd prefer if we kept the Marvel stuff as brief as possible. This quest seems less focused on the individual movies and more on the big picture, so even if we did acquire Marvel at the most I'd want a Black Cauldron sized section for the bigger movies.

And even then, that's an at most if there are problems.

I agree with that, I actually regret bringing up Marvel in this thread like 25 pages ago. In a perfect world we'd just acquire and simply create another comparatively minor revenue stream for the mighty arm of Disney licensing/publishing

Just want to make sure that we can take Marvel and avoid the whole mess with Universal, Sony and Fox when ti comes time to make the movies. Aside from that I don't think we should try and meddle into comic business.

Besides, Warner has DC, we take Marvel and we have a true rivalry. People love Rivalries!

wait... why aren't we doing a DC comics ride at Hollywood Studios

I mean, something about straight up owning superheroes is appealing and with both dc and marvel in the air...

I mean it's not like any iconic reimagining of a beloved DC hero isn't coming out in a few years, or Superman being unprofitable
Oh right, Superman the movie came out in 1979, and Superman 2 was just made a few years back, so there should be a lot of publicity for Superman now. When Batman comes into the picture the very same year that Warner gets DC then we can do rides for both.

DC and Marvel, both under the House the Mouse built...

This would be almost as awesome as the time when Marvel nearly bought the licenses for the DC characters in the 1980's!!!

You let out an explosive sigh. You'd love to say that this is above your pay grade, but the newspaper over in the corner talking about how Exxon's assets are being bought up by dozens of other smaller companies seems to indicate that this is what you've signed up for.
… whose willing to bet that quite a few members of the board are taking part in the feeding frenzy of Exxon's assets? I wonder what properties or materials we also could acquire from Exxon's collapse, maybe some refineries to supply the plastic for our toys and asphalt for our roads.

I still can't believe how badly things have gone for Exxon, from being a top fortune 500 company to full collapse in what, a year? Its just insane.

I am copying @Firebringer2077 's plan for the Grand Floridan style hotel with only some changes to planned amenities to double down on vacationers/business meetings and put less focus on appealing to families with kids, since we don't have any Family Suites.

Removed Playground, Daycare Center, Game Room, Exercise Room.

Added Garden, Hot Tub, Sauna, and Indoor Placement for the pool.

Also, @Firebringer2077, I noticed that your rooms plan uses 1800 points, not 1700! I removed the Luxury Cabins in my plan to square that away.

[x] Plan Alternate Grand Floridan
-[X] Main Street USA
-[X] Monorail Station
-[X] Golf Connection

Grand Floridian Resort
3000pts

18 x standard rooms = 1000 points
5 x luxury suites = 500 pts
1 x Conference Rooms = 100pts
1 x Conference Halls = 100pts
TOTAL: 900 Rooms, 5 Luxury Cabins, 25 Luxury Suites, 1700 pts

1 x Pool = 100 pts
1 x Hot Tub = 50 pts
1 x Sauna = 50 pts
1 x Indoor Pool = 100 pts
1 x Park = 50 pts
1 x Garden = 50 pts
1 x Laundry Service = 100 pts
1 x VIP Concierge = 50 pts
1 x Restaurant = 150 pts
1 x Bar = 50pts
1 x Reservation Restaurant = 200 pts
1 x Spa = 200 pts
1 x Wedding Chapel = 100 pts
1 x Gift Shop = 50 pts
TOTAL: 1300 pts

With the fall of Exxon, the news about the dangers of using too much gas, and the damage being done to the planet, I wonder if we will see a rise in Public transportation.

Well we've been doing work on that front. It's only a matter of time until we get so good we do to nonpublic transport like we did to big oil.

Yes, it shows that for all their outwards prosperity, their internal structure and management was shoddy at best, or completely incapable at worst. I mean, what we did should have been nothing but a minor prodding at best, with the best solution being to create a new solar energy division, seeing as they sold theirs in 1984. Instead, it seems to have been the straw that broke the camel's back, with a complete loss of confidence amongst its investors.

Their initial poor pr campaign was a slump, one that could have been overcome. Having the DoD and DoJ investigate them for actively suppressing information about an existential threat is what really sent them into oblivion. The company was relatively well managed, they had a solid structure, but they also had a secret that literally meant the end of the company if it got out, and, well, it got out.

GENTELMEN Since reality has seemed to save itself.

Ocerina of Time TV Show I ask again.

What story arcs do you have planned out.

Edit Or want.

I think first we have to make a good Legend of Zelda show, in fact, I want to make Zelda shows for every iteration of Zelda game that appears...

Except Zelda II, that abomination shall never darken TV. EVER!!!

Fucking Death Mountain.

But yeah, I want us to try making a tv series abou the first Zelda game, and I gave some ideas in my omake, but basically i want us to keep the whole theme of young boy growing into the Hero of Hyrule that many of the games seem to have.
