Taking the Mickey: A Save Disney Quest

Take a look at both halves of the relationship chart, Jeff doesn't have a 25 bonus because he only views Eisner at 20 before this update. It's rare that something will update only half the chart, but it happens occasionally.
Huh, I suppose that was an oversight on my part. I was so used to both relationships matching that I didn't look close enough. Sorry for so many mistakes!

A upgrade to Wells bonuses would be very useful. If that means his traits become a bit higher. We could hopefully balance out Katzenbergs effect. It would also be very useful to have extra effectiveness on a Personal Focus.

Frank Wells: +10 to all office relationship stats every turn, to a maximum of 0.
+5 to effectiveness of Personal Focus, 1 free Personal Focus action per turn. (25 bonus)

[X] Frank Wells

Wells wouldn't get an upgrade if we give him that extra +5. If he gets the +5, he would be placed at +45 - +5 short of a bonus. The only one who would get a bonus if we give a +5 to would be Disney, as he should be at +45 towards Eisner after the initial results are added to his current score of +25 towards Eisner.

You are correct, but improvements happen in small steps. I think it's still worth it if we can go to 50 in the near future.

I am just going to stop talking now. I keep messing up or misreading things.

Eh, you can do that. I personally find the Disney bonus of +50 that we can acquire this turn more cost-effective, but I can see the long-term logic for Wells.

Relationship Board prior to vote.

Also slight note, you're already at 50 from Disney, but part of the Disney bonus is coming from the solar farm project, which won't be shown until later (It's at least 5).

This is what the board looks like without the current vote and with the (at least) +5 from the solar farm factored in.

New bonuses are:

Katzenberg: Reroll the lowest die roll in the movie section each turn (25 bonus).

Bluth: Roll two dice for every animated film quality roll and keep the highest (25 bonus).

Bluth/Katzenberg: Roll two dice for every animated film reception roll and keep the highest (25 bonus).

Disney: +20 to planning rolls (50 bonus).

Heh no one's in the negatives anymore, we're getting somewhere.

I'm going with

Better cover those weaknesses. If we're to work as a team then no one can be left behind.

You know, it is almost impossible, but I really want to see what a Quality 1 vs. Exploding Dice Reception outcome would look like :p

The Room but with even bigger of a cult following.

-[X] Go Green: It'd be expensive, but putting in a solar farm at Reedy Creek could really bring your energy bill down. And hey, it'd be great PR.

DC: (40-20) 20.

Benefits: Reduced energy costs in Florida, big PR boost, +5 Eisner/Disney relationship.

Results: 100+10+10+10. Die explodes. 100+10+10+10. Die Explodes. 31+10+10+10. 321. "It Was All Started By A Mouse." success.

The imagineers decided to pitch in. Then they contacted half a dozen different scientists. Then they brought together a dozen of the world's leading research facilities. Things kept on snowballing from there, and well… Continued in "Sunny Upsides"

..Guys, i think we might have advanced solar technology by a couple of decades here. Maybe we're expanding in the sector?

That, or we ended up introducing solar panels to every disney building, massively raising public interest for them.

Or both. Disney branded solar panels for sale!! Mickey Mouse and Scrooge McDuck Approved! Save the planet by saving money!! 🥳

...I can't help but wonder. Would we have cracked nuclear fusion if we went for nuclear (or at the very least a new type of fission/ a way to deal with radioactive wastes?)
Results: 05. 87+10+10, 107. 10 successes, overflowed into construction. 6/12 Construction successes achieved.

..we might end up completeting the "you were supposed to fail this!" board goal! Just imagine the board reaction! 🤣

The board takes a few moments before a couple of chuckles break out. "Mike, a hotel was never going to be finished by the end of the year." Says Stanley. "Not unless it was so small that it wouldn't really solve any problems, at any rate."
We'll show them! WE'LL SHOW THEM ALL!!!
John Cooke was right to be panicking. You can't believe this was missed for so long, and hopefully there's some way to fix this quickly. How your churn rate ended up being sixteen times the industry average, you have no idea. Continued in "Change the Channel"

We might just be in time to achieve the minor objective

A disney version of the star wars holyday special, the new most common dare. "I dare you to watch it from start to finish IN ONE SITTING!"

Few manage to do it, but they pay full ticket for it regardless!

Wow. Just... wow, we've managed to put the Black Cauldron up there with the likes of Snow White.

Oh man, if only that explosive crit was on nuclear power.....

Ah well. I did promise not to grumble about it too much, and solar's nice too. Maybe we'll build a liquid salt tower in the shape of Mickey or something.

I think we really need to focus on everyday employees' experiences and conditions now. I think Disney Channel's churn rate is extremely worrying and might be a symptom of unpleasant corporate culture. We can probably afford to give everyone better conditions and pursue other annoying or expensive stuff like that with board approval at NINETY FREAKIN' FIVE.

Kind of tempted to forget Tomorrow's Tomorrowland and just take Star Tours too, since we can flub one major board goal a year without penalty. This is a good turn, we're riding high on PR and board approval, we have a lot of leeway to pursue other stuff now.

Our entrance in the industry could have butterflied away Chernobyl completely.
That's going a bit far. Doing well in the power plant would undoubtedly influence the US attitude towards nuclear energy and potentially world views in the long-run, but that wouldn't do anything to fix both the physical flaws of a pre-existing design or the lack of care paid to said plant over in the Soviet Union within less than a year.

Chernobyl was partially contributed to by a badly-performed test of some kind I believe, though I'm not an expert.

I think that we would need to put some personal focus on that one if we want it.
What could we do to increase our chances?

If I may say so, apropos of nothing, that I am loving the success descriptors. Magical Success caught my attention, then we got a Fantasmic Success, and now we have "It Was All Started By A Mouse" Success, for that absolutely insane success. Beautiful.

I didn't notice the "fantasmic"!

Now I'm waiting for a Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious success though

I think we may have seriously advanced the cause for solar power though. And maybe even leapfrogged some research into a major advancement.
