On an unrelated note:

Basically how I imagine any interaction between Waltz and Revolver Shogun going.
(I'll build him one day. Oneeee daaaaaayyy...!)
if you really want revolver shogun to have as many guns as possible go for six arms, two guns per arm, shoulder mounted cannons, chest mounted guns, a head mounted laser, and missiles everywhere else.

that runs into the unfortunate issue of "how do you carry it all?", which is why my current draft focuses on two sets of paired weapons and two more handheld ones for a total of six.

edit: also voting:
[X] Build two AG-60 Autogyro Scout Squadrons and three A-KA-78-L 'Banshee' Assault Helicopter Squadrons.
[X] Build 2 Kaiju Salvage Facilities

I can get behind this.

Alright, locking this in-- but there's one little problem that I've just now remembered (I know, I know). For your first C-tech research, you have "improve the Heimdal's Ran". However, as I mentioned in a previous downtime, Superheavies require their stats to be improved the same way as jaegers-- though I've yet to properly nail down if it should be the exact same method, or something else.

Thus, I'm going to give you some options on how you want me to take this research:
[ ] Individual states upgrade (actual stat upgrade, costs resources)
[ ] Blueprints improvement (no resource cost, will only currently affect future Heimdal units)
[ ] Non-stat accuracy improvement (no resource cost, affects current unit, may affect blueprints on a high roll)

After this, I will finally, actually be able to let you guys roll. Sorry for the constant (sorta) procrastination.

I think we actually talked about this back when making the plan. I need to go check the discussion, brb.

It seems we didn't.

I think I'll go with:
[x] Blueprints improvement (no resource cost, will only currently affect future Heimdal units)
to keep the BP at parity with the current unit.

I'm fairly sure the original intent was increasing the current Heimdal's RAN stat. Like, 99% sure. It has been a while and my memory is pretty shitty, as I stated quite a few times already. Or at least I think I did.

Well, you made the plan, I'll go with that then.

I wasn't trying to be overly repetitive, and my explanation wasn't specifically directed towards you, Nixeu. Apologies if I gave that impression.

In any case, I will ask if other people have votes, since Highwind's the only one to give a response in vote format so far.
Nah, don't worry about it. I was more amused than annoyed. Also a tad bemused, because it's not like there aren't ways to fix the issue. It's such a basic mechanism that you can do a lot of different things to allow for swapping blades. You don't even have to get super creative.

Maybe it's just because I haven't actually watched a lot of Mecha stuff, and I'm coming at a lot of the design issues fresh, with fewer stray associations to get distracted or paradigm-locked by. It's not that I dislike Mecha anime, movies, or games. I just haven't played/watched a huge amount of it.

...Seriously? 1, 2, 3,4, based on the order of the posts? Holy crap, that serendipity is hilarious. I almost forgive the dice gods for making my first throw on the site a one. Almost.

I'll roll these up.

Edit: Only 5 successes for the Phenom rolls. But the RWCS is looking good.

Pretty normal, actually. The most common result on 2d10 is 11. We got 12, which is only less likely by 1% (10% vs 9%). So it's technically above average. But not by much.
